Galatians 2:6 “But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it makes no matter to me: God accepts no man’s person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me.”
Paul says that God accepts no man’s person. REALLY?!!
Matthew 19:27-28 “Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, that you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Luke 22:28-30 “You are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father has appointed unto me: that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”
Paul was referring to men who will will one day be his judge! The twelve apostles will sit on twelve thrones judging the the twelve tribes of Israel. Paul was a Jew. Those men who Paul set at naught and who added NOTHING to him are his judges. I have heard such silly things said. Many say that Paul is who will take Judas’ place among the twelve apostles. Jesus clearly said the twelve were men present before him , who had forsaken all to follow him, and who had continued with him in his temptations. Paul did none of this.
In Acts 1:20-26 the apostles clearly stated that the conditions of being an apostle were, “to have accompanied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John, unto the same day that he was taken up from us, must be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.”
Matthias was chosen to take Judas’ place. Matthias was qualified to be an apostle and Paul was not qualified to be an apostle.
Matthew 16:17-19 “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood have not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto you, that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church: and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and what so ever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and what so ever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
People twist this and re-write it today. They are guilty of doing what the Jehovah’s Witnesses do. When you go to the Greek and Hebrew, and choose other versions of the Bible, you are just re-writing the Bible to say what you want it to say. This is what Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses and other cults do.
I accept my King James Bible at face value. At least be as manly enough to accept the King James Bible as King James was. It is a historical fact that King James was a homosexual, yet when the translators finished his Bible, and read it to him, he demanded no changes made even though it condemned his sin of homosexuality.
Peter is the rock upon which the church is built. Peter was given the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and he still has them. No where are these keys mentioned again. I tell you Paul ids wrong. God DOES accept the person of men. He does accept the person of the twelve apostles, and especially Peter.
1 Corinthians 10-13 “Now I beseech you brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement. For it has been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. Now every one of you says, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were you baptized in the name of Paul?”
Here we see Paul discourage people from following Christ directly or from following Peter.
1 Corinthians 4:16 “Wherefore I beseech you, be followers of me.” 1 Corinthians 11:1 “Be followers of me, as I also am of Christ.”
Here Paul clearly said that we are to follow him and not to follow Christ directly. Paul is to be the middle man, much as a Catholic priest is a middle man. Just as I follow Christ, you follow me. Those are very dangerous words.
Galatians 1:8-9 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, now say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that you have received, let him be accursed.”
We have already established the fact that Paul’s gospel is completely different than Peter’s gospel. So here Paul is telling the Galatians that if anyone preach the gospel of the kingdom of God unto them, let him be accursed. If Peter, James, John, or anyone else, preach the gospel of the kingdom of God, that Jesus Christ preached, and entrusted to his twelve apostles, let him be accursed.
