Hi. I just want to say how much I appreciate your hard work. I loved this newsletter. There was so much great stuff in it. I am right with you on the interpretation of these things. You do great analysis and comparison and your argumentation is so very strong. Well, just want to express appreciation. This is really great stuff. And it takes courage too. Thanks again. Hi,Your book, Jesus Words Only, was a monumental validation for my own studies, and your website has been a constructive benefit in my discussions with family members and Paulists. Could you recommend a JWO congregation in NYC area, preferably on Long Island if posible, that I might visit! Thank you for your time and consideration. (Anthony 9/17/2020)

I have to tell you that your book has been a tremendous blessing to me. Before I read your book, JWO, I had come across websites questioning & accusing Paul, but I never felt fully comfortable with the idea of identifying Paul as a false prophet until I read your book. Since then, I've purchased at least a half dozen copies of your book to give to friends & family.

Thanks again for your kind reply. May our Heavenly Father bless you abundantly for all the amazing work you do with the incredible books & articles you write! Hope you have a

Peaceful Sabbath, & a wonderful weekend! (C 9/5/2020)

I like your articles because you’re so thorough. That gives me confidence
that what I read is well researched and thought out with every angle
covered. (Mimi 9/4/2020)

Hello Doug. I continue to devour everything you have referred me to and am amazed at how gullible and deceived I've been regarding Paul. I'm halfway done with your book Jesus' Words Only and am just awed at what you've discovered. (Geri 8/23/2020).

Hi Doug

This note is to express my deepest feelings of appreciation for the hard work and clear thinking that is evidenced by your website. No one has done a better job of revealing the false reasoning of Saul.

Most of all, I just wanted to write you a word of encouragement (not that you seem to need it) and to praise Yah that the Truth does come out.

Roger G. (August 15, 2020)

Hi Doug

Some years ago, I read most of what you had posted on your website at that time, but I have not kept up with it due to other demands upon my time. I was amused when someone accused me of being a "follower" of yours" due to my objections to Paul. In fact, I had doubts about Paul ever since I first read the Bible cover-to-cover many decades ago. These doubts were made coherent by reading of William Wrede's book Paul which I found at the Yale Divinity School Library in the early 1970s. I was just the second or third person ever to have checked that book out of the library! Therefore, I was deeply skeptical about Paul decades before I ever read your writings. (August 8, 2020, Louis B., Oxford U. Ph.D.)

Hello Doug,

I wanted to comment and thank you for the amount of time spent and your devotion to research on the subject of Jesus Words versus Paul's strange doctrine, wild inconsistencies and untruths in Scripture.  You have made numerous clear and concise arguments in favor of following God’s Commandments and Jesus testimony and teachings. I pray that more people pay attention to what you have written and will learn from the incredible volume of writings you have produced.

Thank you again,

Greg (August 5, 2020)

Doug, I believe in your mission statement with all my heart. I know your work pleases God and He has blessed you with more than 18 million truth seekers. Your website was the first place where I was not met with judgment for believing what God had showed me regarding Paul. I am forever grateful for you and I will as always remember you and those who God sends your way in my prayers. (Sharon July 21, 2020)

Dear Doug

May you be blessed for all you do! I have recently found a renewed faith after an experience I had, and I have been compelled to learn all I can about Yahweh and Yehovah.

For a long time I have been highly critical of Saul, and it was so eye-opening to find your website. Thank you so much for helping me on my journey. I have learned so much about reading and studying the bible through your website. It has truly strengthened my faith and understanding.

I noticed you have these PDF lessons in various sections on the website. Is there any place where you have all of these listed together? The lessons are amazing, and I love going through them on the Sabbath.

Again, thank you and God be with you.  (T July 17, 2020)

Dear Doug

I have probably been a skeptic of Paul for about fifteen years or more and decided not to read anything attributed him for a good decade.  Keeping my mind open to the possibility that that it may be me that was the problem, I once read a 500 page commentary on Galatians and the 'Hebrew Roots' attributed author confessed at the end, that even he could not fit all of Paul's comments to be in sync with the rest of scripture.  I myself thought, how hard the author had to work; writing 500 pages to explain the mere 6 or so pages of Galatians.  Something was just not right and so the book did very little to undo my skepticism of Paul.

What I earnestly longed for was even the slightest endorsement of him from Jesus, which would settle my skepticism but it just wasn't there convincingly to my satisfaction.  What finally stirred me into searching the internet to see if there were others who think like me, was finding a few New Testament verses which suggested a kind of a negative endorsement of the suspect.  The search led me to your book -- 'Jesus' Words Only'.  Although I recorded my own problems and observations about Paul into a personal log over the years, your book dwarfed my insights exponentially!

I am now fully converted and had aroused at least one other person enough to become a Paul skeptic, leading to their eventual conversion after reading your book.  Recently, I crafted a little 'hand-out' email of my own and sent it to a circle of believers, with the objective of stirring the pot to wake people out of their slumber on this so very important issue.  So far, it's mostly been a battle but I'm hoping that at least the seed has been planted and that they may eventually come around.  I've attached my circular in a pdf format, which includes an endorsement of the book in question as well.  The presentation is in a bit of an off-the-wall format but it's getting some attention.

Doug, thank you very much!  Your book is an inspired masterpiece! Leo (posted 6/30/2020)

Dear JWO. I knew there are a lot of contradictions between Jesus and Paul. But I chose Paul as it is the mainstream easy gospel that offered a license for my adulterous lifestyle.

To cut a long story short, I ended all my adulterous relationships this year….The Holy Spirit gradually guided me to the truth about Paul and I ended up reading a lot of your articles.

I think this Pauline test can only be passed if we truly repent and ask the Holy Spirit for guidance. My mum and my son, who are supposedly not involved in deadly sins like my adultery, can easily accept that Paul is a bad guy. But my wife, who still thinks that no repentance whatsoever is necessary, won't even listen.

**** As long as I stop the sexual relationship, I think Jesus should accept my repentance.****

My experience also shows why so many people cannot let go of Paul. (Wi... 6/30/2020)

Doug. Thank you so much for your wonderful site!! I am so encouraged and am continuing to try to learn more of the commands of Jesus and follow them….

I wish I knew of at least one other person anyone near me who follows Jesus!! (and not Paul) (Meli.. 6/27/2020)

Hi Doug,

Very good explanation!

I was imagining how many millions of us there will be in the Kingdom Of Heaven because of what Yah has put on your heart to accomplish.

This work makes all the difference in the world.

I am teaching your material to my grown children and many others.

I even bring it up to cashiers at stores.

It is easier to be a witness of the Words of Yeshua/Jesus than the so called plan of salvation, BY FAR.

I will be saved via this great mission of Jesus' Words Only.

You are probably the greatest missionary of all time, if truth be told, only Yah knows.

HaleluYah!

HaleluYah!

HaleluYah!

Jim M (June 27, 2020)  [Doug's comment: I am not worthy of such honor. Many greater missionaries under threat of death have gone before. However, Jim's enthusiasm shows how strongly the Holy Spirit uses Jesus' words alone to impact his life and his family's life.]

Doug. This is so fun! To find kindred souls. Although I feel cheeky saying this because the way you provide in depth studies with the gazillion of references, I have no words. Other than that, it is very impressive. And I love reading your writing and conclusions and references and heart for the true Gospel. (Mi 6/24/2020.)

Greetings Doug. I just read the article that you linked [Paul's View of the Rapture is at Odds with Jesus and the Bible.] Thank you. I have only come to Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior at the first of this year, at a family event where I made a bold proclamation about my wanting to follow and live by God's will to the very best of my abilities, and when I was met by astonishment, I knew that the situation out there was even worse than I had imagined. Unfortunately, alot of teachers on line that I like, I believe are under delusion as they seem to be following Paul rather than Jesus. (K 6/19/2020)(Host comment: K's statement shows a babe in Christ can detect the issue.)

Dear Douglas,

Peace to you.

Thank you for all your hard work. I love, love, LOVE your site!

Praise the Lord for people like you and for breaking my drought. Deep sigh.

****

Your site puts a smile on my face every day.

Loved the article on Yahweh's Holy Name. Alleluyah!

I couldn't get happy with Nehemia [Gordon's] reasoning [for Jehovah as pronunciation instead] either but couldn't figure out why and you shed clarity on this for me.

May Our Father bless you and yours richly.

Kind regards, M (June 10, 2020)

[On receipt of this, I asked M about her view about Paulinism in her church. This is her response.]

Doug,

I've only recently started to go to church and noted the following.

Our church has a husband-wife team pastor. The husband preaches Paul most, but not all of the time. The wife preaches Jesus most but not all of the time.

Consequently, we try as much as we can, to only listen to the wife's sermons. Which is easy during COVID because sermons are online.

I couldn't keep track because I cannot bear to listen to the pauline view of things. My children feel the same.

Why line up for nonsense when we have such a Great Teacher as Jesus?

Yes,  I feel comfortable in such a circle of followers of Jesus. I've been waiting for a long time to find like-minded souls. ****

Praise the Lord, I found your site.

Blessings,

M (June 11, 2020)

I just wanted to say hello and thank you for all of the

research and publication on the subject of Paul’s

apostasy. My wife and I started to reject Pauline

doctrine several months ago, when I was preparing

a sermon and noticed that Jesus' words and Paul's

words didn't match up. I had probably noticed it

before, but growing up in church I became

preconditioned to reconcile Paul’s lies. At a time

when we were starting to wondering if this was

something that God had revealed or we were reading

too much into, your website has encouraged us in

our stance. Thank you for everything you are doing.

(James 6/9/2020 emphasis added.)

Hello, I have been studying much on this website about Paul.  I went over things with my 82-year-old father this past weekend, and after a couple of hours I think he finally started to see the inconsistencies in Paul's vs Jesus' messages. My question is: what is the most effective way to share this with others? Do we just send them a link to your website? What about pastors? I have been attending evangelical churches for over 40 years and every pastor had messages on Paul's works. I recall 2 churches spending over a year on Romans--going verse by verse every week!  Would it behoove me to send emails to pastors? Do you go out of your way to send information to pastors or just wait until people visit your site? I stumbled on your site--but if someone had showed me this information 40 years ago, I would have accepted it and not wasted so much time (and backsliding/etc) I would definitely have more "fruit" to show for my life to this point. Anyway, thanks. (Lisa 5/5/2020)

I hope this finds you well in the midst of this Covid event. I just wanted to tell you thank you for your work and insight into the Truth.  I see G-d's guidance in your work. Peace with you, Brother. Peace in Purple. (Amanda 4/25/2020.)

You make me smile, Doug at the depths you go and how complete your arguments are.  You are so logical.  You must be excellent at chess.  The beauty of JWO is that it shows both sides and sometimes many sides.  A person that wants the sources to make up their own decision has the work already done with them.  They could ignore your reasoning and just use the source material.

Most may make mention of a competing belief.  You go way past that.  One can get totally absorbed into the other argument.  For me it is a must I read your reasoning.  I know I must stay grounded and objective but your writing makes so many things easier if you had to do everything yourself.  Who would be better to argue these cases than a lawyer?

There is nothing comparable to JWO site.  People are too lazy to do all the work that needs to be done.  I am included though before I stumbled on you I was trying to do so.  I had 30 videos arguing both sides of Paul and had made up my mind.  Your video was the last one I reviewed and the best.  When I saw the name of the site I thought it too good to be true.

Is it not one of the things that have to happen before the end of times that the Truth has to reach all ends of the earth?  You certainly facilitated that.  (David Sprague -requested his full name be posted - 4/4/2020.)

I have to tell you that your book, Jesus Words Only, & your website have been hugely influential in my understanding of the Scriptures. I have to say that it all makes so much more sense now with Paul out of the picture!! I’ve gotten multiple copies of your book to give to friends & family, but somehow they don’t seem as enthusiastic about it as I am…. (John 3/29/2020.)

Thank you for your extensive work. You have made clear things that have bothered me for years and hindered me from being a Christian. I can't thank you enough. (Ronald  3/18/2020.)

Thanks for publishing Jesus Words Only. I had often been confused about what Paul taught and now I know why! I'm very grateful for this work of yours. (Daniel  2/16/2020)

Just a quick note to tell you how much I appreciate this site. Your teachings have been a light in my life and a joy to my soul. Thank-you for your ministry.  (Rob  12/8/2019)

Hi. I wanted to take some time to thank you for your ministry and your publishing the truth online! …. The greats in the kingdom of God have found out about Paul and it’s right there in scripture that Paul has been exposed !! My name is [Jake]. The Lord has put it on my heart to try to get this message going . You have done a great job. More than I by far….This message is the most important in the world and in the history of mankind…. I’m just a common man… and I have a dream of mainstreaming this message that you have discovered. God bless you. Your friend Jake. (5/29/2019)

I have long been disillusioned with the vast majority of modern "Christianity" and never really understood why.  Last week I prayed God would take me back to the basics, destroying every false notion of Him and His Word.  I also prayed that He would give me more of His Spirit and lead me in a way that is pleasing to Him.  Through that prayer and God's gracious mercy He has led to your website and others that are showing me the truth.  When I read the New Testament without Paul's heretical teachings it couldn't be any more clear, and there is no confusion on any topic of moral relevance.  I want to thank you for being a blessing to those searching for truth, the truth that only comes from God through Christ.  I and others owe you our very lives for you have been faithful in helping turn the sinner from his way.  Be blessed, my beloved brother.  May God deal with you bountifully. (Jake M. 4/19/2019.)

Hello, my name is Jessica, and I am a young lady who agrees with your teaching. Thank you so very much for your book and articles! I pray God protects you from all enemies and this message would get out even more worldwide!

I was raised in the Baptist church, always taught the false doctrine of once saved, always saved. Three years ago, God gave me a dream and showed me I had become a dry, dead branch, like Jesus said we would be if would don't abide in Him, and on the verge of Hellfire, due to a secret sin I had not repented of. I was so shocked and terrified, and repented and later left the Baptist church as the Lord continued to open my eyes to the false teachings I had been taught. After that I visited many different churches, looking for the truth and not finding it anywhere...finally i just stayed home and prayed at home.

One day, I was praying, and asking God to forgive me for disliking Paul so much...because people always use his words to back up their false doctrines, and asking God why He would go to so much trouble to save Paul if his words have produced so many false teachings...his words just didn't match the rest of the Bible.

I thought it was my problem for not understanding, so I determined to read Paul's writings from start to finish and pray for guidance. Within a few chapters of Romans, it became too much to bear, and I started to give up. Suddenly, the Lord spoke to my spirit, and said, Read Revelation! Read what I said against the churches, because ALL THOSE THINGS ARE STILL GOING ON TODAY and you need to know what they are!

So I started reading about false apostles, and the doctrine of Balaam, and didn't understand at all, but prayed for understanding! A few months later, God showed me an article online about Paul being false, and everything immediately became clear.****

I traveled to Israel in July, and then God led me to Kenya, Africa in December this year [where I donate my time in an orphanage in return for room and board]. I believe God has called me to spread the message to Christians about returning to the Laws of Moses, before the coming of the day of the Lord, as prophesied in Malachi. I believe God is going to do a mighty work of His Spirit and purify many people before the great darkness comes, that is, the antichrist, and worldwide deception...and then Jesus will come back. ****

Be blessed in the name of Yahweh...thank you so much for your ministry!  (Jessica 12/21/2018)

I wanted to tell you how much I am blessed by your website. I feel the influence of the Holy Spirit whenever I visit!  My life is so much better because of this website. Thank God for you. I was also wondering are you the only one who works on this website? Are there others who think like you who could take over if (God forbid) something were to happen? We need this website to stay on the Internet as long as possible, we don't need it to disappear ever! DeltaT. (10/25/2018)

Hello. Your website and articles are fantastic. The BOOKS are something I should have had when I finished college. Thanks for ministering to us about the most importance thing in the world. TRUTH which comes out of Jesus' mouth!! Ruth H. (10/19/2018)

Glad to read the latest article and congratulations on the 13.7 million plus hits to your website, amazing!! It shows a growing curiosity about the true teachings of the real Jesus and that the days of "Faux Paul" are numbered.

Yahweh and Yashua must be very happy with your work and the blessing to us who can't get enough.

Hope you and your wife had a good summer (Mike 9/16/2018)

Doug.     The book name of "Jesus Words Only" is an excellent name for this book and website! Pharisee Saul's letters from prison are a stumbling block on the way to the narrow straight gate that leads to eternal life, and few there be that find it.

James B. (4/2018)

Hi Doug. I really enjoy your website and can’t say how much I agree that Pharisee Saul is not an apostle and his writings may have some historical significance yet otherwise for doctrine the teachings are a stumbling block and are a test from Father YHWH.  James B. 4/10/2018.

Thanks so much Doug! I have to admit that I've fought Paul's attitude all my life, not knowing it was "just his" attitude. I've even cried and screamed at God because Paul's words made me feel like God hates women, and I couldn't figure out why He bothered creating us. Digging around your site, I see there is much to learn...but even more to unlearn.

Thank you for what you do, and what you've already done. Now I just have to figure out how to study the Bible without Paul looking over my shoulder! :-D

Blessing to you as well, and once again, Thank You. (L...a 2/12/2018.)

Hello My name is J....and I am from Zimbabwe. I would like to thank you very much for the work you are doing, proclaiming Yeshua's true gospel. I won't go into a lot now, because I have much to say and thank you for!  (J., 2/2/2018)

Hi Doug.

I find your writings highly impressive. You are extremely intelligent and have an incredible ability at taking something hard and make it to be understood very well. That is truly an incredible ability. There are many uber rich folks who do not even remotely have that ability.

After an illness 8 years ago, I got better and then started to go to Christian churches which blew my mind back then with the singing and people calling out and all. So unlike uptight catholic church. I then started to read the Bible.. a lot.. As I do to this day or simply information that is Biblically related.

As to an elder of a church and a former close friend, I left the church he is at and then yes, when I  mentioned the JESUS Words Only website and I was getting the book,  well, that was that. Have not seen the guy in nearly a year and a half. Like you say, he said, "Paul wrote half the New Testament!!" Then I point out the differences of what CHRIST says and Paul and I just get a blank stare or the old "Well who is this guy?" Meaning you and the website so I get into that then. Lol.

Pauline Christians are an odd lot. Paul basically says women should be quiet in church and wear head covering and yet there are women pastors and Reverends.  Then they turn around and quote Paul on other things.. Say what?

JESUS says one thing and many times Paul says something else and yet Christians do this acrobat act of saying, well that was before CHRIST gave himself up for our sins. Yet as you say in your great book, well JESUS says this for basically many, many more years to come!!

I will continue to read your book, Doug. I think Christians are just so terrified to question anything.

My last church I was at I felt a bit controlled. If you questioned anything you got snapped on. It all gets so tiring at times. Good teaching and worship and all but you know, Paul is never questioned and if one has issues with something, well, the hint is to then leave and go to another church.

GOD Bless, Bob (1/14/2018)

Hi! Just a short message to thank you for the work you do.

I am a regular visitor to your site, and have read every single article you have written, as well as Jesus Words Only and your email exchanges. I read them to get closer to Yeshua.

I am the son of a missionary, and spent most of my childhood south of the border preaching the Word. Dad had many issues with Paul, and as a consequence my Christianity was never polluted by Paul's teachings. (Brian 12/15/2017)

Hi. .... On another note, my wife [an evangelical Christian] is reading your book [Jesus' Words Only] and really, really enjoying it. I get the cliff note report after she goes through a section. You’ve certainly got her marveling at how good your work is on this topic! She feels you make a great case on your points. Me, I can’t get through a physical book, but maybe down the road if and when I get an IPAD, I can read it on there and blow up the font!!!! (Dec 7, 2017 G)

Hi Doug,

First of all let me say that I appreciate your in depth study of the scriptures in regards to Jesus and (especially) Paul. Through the years I've often wondered why Paul seemed to have 'hijacked' the NT, and having read your detailed examination I can clearly see that my gut reaction has not been wrong. I agree with the writer of 2 Peter (whoever that may have actually been) in his comments on the difficulty / nonsensical nature of Paul's writings, which I've long thought of us confusing at best and contradictory at worst....I think you are definitely doing God's work. It is much appreciated.

So thank you. (John L. 10/22/2017 & 10/29/2017)

Hi I have both your books. They truly are a spiritual treasure.  I am re-reading them closely for the second time. I can't thank you enough for producing them. They are so well researched and thorough. They clarify so many things about  the concepts of God and the mission of Jesus that were formerly unclear to me. Thank you so very much for putting in all the time and effort that must have gone into their production. You surely are a lover of the truth. (E 10/10/2017)

Good morning,

Thanks for your web site and the truth you are proclaiming.  I have read the Bible several times and have not been able to understand how Paul's writings fit with scripture as a whole.  Very recently I thought perhaps it was a test and began to test my theory.  I have come to the realization that it may very well be a test to see if we truly love God.  Yeshua warned us in the Gospels of the wolves and the yeast of the Pharisees.  And Revelation 2:2 is pretty much the smoking gun.  Not to mention there would have to be 13 apostles, Paul's boasting against the 12,  and how he is such a coward when he is pushed to give his statements during his trials.

Every time I have brought up anything about the Law to my family, I am shut down and they get so angry at me.  I was also kicked out of church for believing in keeping Shabbat and questioning Paul's book of Galatians.

.

I just don't understand how so many wonderful people in my family and in the "church" have been led into something so sinister.  It just breaks my heart for these. (C 8/18/2017)

I am starting once again to read your book, Jesus Words Only.  I had started it a few years ago after reading your other great book, Jesus' Words on Salvation, which I found to be extremely interesting.

You really make great points in JWO!  I am only on page 53 so far, but love it.  I must admit, I "envy" your academic expertise in the Classics in Latin and Greek, and your scholarship in the two books of yours that I have.

One reason I had previously quit reading JWO was because back at that time, I was not quite ready to "throw Paul under the bus."  Now, I am.

Based upon Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32-13-5; and 18:15, 18, which verses I was led to back in 2003, my entire understanding of the Bible has changed.  For the next 5 and a half years beginning in 2003, about 95% of my Bible study was the Law of Moses.  Then, I continued on into the rest of the Old Testament and into the New Testament,  My KJV of the Bible that I had received for Christmas in 1962 became a brand new Book to me!!  But even during that 5-and-one-half-year period, I found myself quoting Jesus more than ever before.  And many people said, "But Paul said..."  I would then ask them when Paul became their personal savior.  I also asked them, "Who has more authority, Jesus? or, Paul?"   I had some people actually tell me they had EQUAL authority and others said Paul!!  And I told them, "No, JESUS is the Final Authority on all interpretation of the Scriptures.”

It all came to a head just last Sunday (Aug. 13) when I went with my brother, an ordained minister, to a little church he was preaching at.

My brother preached on "Grace" and he urged the congregation to write down his cites.  When he finished, he had quoted James twice and Peter twice.  ALL the rest were cites from Paul!  He did not quote Jesus ONE TIME!  And with practically every quotation of his, which was liberally sprinkled with "eternal security" doctrine, I kept thinking of Ezekiel 18, Isaiah 1: 12-20, Matthew 19:16-20 and Luke 10:25-28, and many others.  It seemed as if practically EVERYTHING my brother was teaching was contradicting Jesus!!  That was the final straw!

I apologize this email is so long, but I just want you to know  how much I appreciate your writing the books and your SCHOLARSHIP about the subjects.

Thank you very much for all of the time and effort you have put into these books.  I am understanding that EXPENSE because I am currently working on my own book about the Bible.  I have finished nine chapters in rough draft, so I know a little of what you went through.

Thank you, again--I have great admiration for you. (I 8/20/2017)

YHWH has ambushed me.  I am a full-time prison chaplain endorsed by a non-denominational group.  I am a former Seventh-day Adventist Pastor (13 years).  I read a lot on Hebrew Roots.  I have two MA's from trips to seminary. Now, I run into your work (just ordered both books on Amazon).  I have never been comfortable with Paul.  I have a hard time reconciling his ideas...[W]ho in today's world believes someone that shows up at church and says that God has chosen them to lead?  We usually show those folks the door.  I am sure Peter and James felt that same way.… Anyway, I thank you….I can't worship in these cookie-cutter feel-good shops posing as churches.  (M. July 29, 2017)

What a blessing it was today to stumble upon your website during a search for information. May you be richly rewarded. I encourage you on brother to keep going. Sierra (3/14/2017)

Hello Doug I just wanted to write and let you know that I have been a big fan of your JWO site since discovering it a couple weeks ago. I've probably read over 30 articles already, and even finding your site was a serious answer to prayer. I had first heard the notion 8 months ago of Paul being a false prophet, dealt with the initial gut-punch that comes with hearing that, prayed about it, and continued on my search for truth ultimately coming to the realization that a lot of what he stood for does seem to be in direct opposition to Yahushua/Jesus' words. I believe the Father had given me a peace about this idea. Chris (2/15/2017)

Thanks for your faithfulness. I have just referred another once more to your "Jesus' Words Only" website, and I wanted to take the time to tell you I do appreciate your effort to set the record straight. Because of the confusion about Paul, Protestant Christianity is fading away [in Latin America], and Pagan Roman Christianity is growing. I pray the Lord leads millions of believers to your site. May you and your loved ones be blessed abundantly for your work in the Lord's fields. Victor....MsD (2/15/2017)

Hi, Let me say first how much I appreciate your site and your insights!  After many years of struggling on my own, praying and reading, I came to the conclusion that Paul was a usurper of Jesus the Christ.  It was a long, hard journey of which I hardly dare talk to anyone of my thoughts and conclusions.  One day I had the bright idea of searching on the internet to see if anyone else had come to these conclusions!  That’s when I found  your site.  I was glad to see that I wasn’t alone in my conclusions of Paul and putting Jesus first.  R (12/28/2016)

We started studying Jesus Words Only (JWO) about three months ago.  We meet once a week, we are on chapter 11. We have convinced one person to read JWO.  A lot have resisted. We hope to do Jesus Words on Salvation after this study. We have questions from time to time that we don't understand in the reading. We are in our 80s, so not much time left. We are so glad we discovered you. (Norma 12/16/2016)

Dear ... very thankful and very happy you have sent me this information as it confirms beyond reasonable doubt to me that apostle Paul is the false apostle of Revelation 2:2. The amount of damage this faith alone doctrine has done to me alone is incredible. The contradictions and anti-Christ teachings are frankly shocking and very upsetting. I am convinced this is the reason why so many Christians are being attacked. When I read Deuteronomy for example it is simple and clear. When I read Jesus words, they are truth. Paul just makes me cry. None of what he says makes any real sense and he walks all over Jesus‘ commandments.
I attended a deliverance ministry recently who talk about how doing the deeds of the law will send you to hell but the people they deliver are told to repent from a sin and sin no more. Would this not be doing the law? It makes no sense along with so many things I'm seeing. I think from this point onwards I am going to observe the Torah and Jesus words for my salvation. Faith alone? The Devils believe and tremble...(Jim 10/25/2016)
Thanks for your help and many blessings to you.

Dear D....I just recently came across your amazing website, "Jesus' Words Only."  I wish I had access to all of that information years ago when I, as a young boy, thought that I was the only one in the world who disliked hearing about Paul every Sunday in Church.  I knew, even then, that Paul was not who I wanted to follow, but my family and everyone in my Methodist church followed Paul not Jesus.
Thank you for the work that you are doing.  B... (9/28/2016)

Our church study group is studying Jesus' Words Only. We are on chapter four of JWO. I wish there were more in our church to hear it. I have looked up many Bibles on Matthew 7:21-23, but only one appears to 'get it.' The Amplified Bible reads in 7:23: "I will declare to them publicly 'I never knew you, depart from me [you are banished from my presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commandments.]

We are really enjoying both JWO and Jesus' Words on Salvation, and learning so much. I have downloaded both books, and if someone wants them, I will share. God bless.  (Norma 9/23/2016).

Dear Doug... I am so happy to have found your website which has showed me the way to worship and follow God the Father and his Son's true teachings. I am reaching out because it's the Sabbath and I don't have anyone around to worship or share with. By writing to you I know I am with true followers, otherwise it's been lonely.

Maybe you know of others in my area, Boston, or Sabbath followers online?

Thanks again, what a gift Jesus Words Only is.

Michael (9/17/2016)

Hellow Sir. My name is M. I am from Israel where I live. In the last few weeks I began to understand that Paul is NOT who all are teaching he is. As a Jewish believer in Yeshua I am so confused now. Your work is helping me, so thank you. I just wanted to let you know if you need help in Hebrew, I would love to help you. His will be done forever. Amen. Amen. (9/10/2016)

Hi Mr. D....

I wanted to take the time to say "thank you!!" for writing your amazing books Jesus' Words Only and Jesus Words on Salvation. These books are so unique in their kind. There aren't ANY other resources like it, as far as I can tell. If you would not have written them, I don't know how I would have put things together in the way that I'm able to now. Just "thank you" really doesn't cover my gratitude over the content of your books and what I am discovering in them. Your words and research have brought me incredible joy as I am rediscovering God's truth in His word. I have been a searching and confused Christian for years now. My search began after leaving the evangelical church and starting to read the Bible for myself for many hours per day.  I found so many discrepancies with the teaching of the church as compared to the scriptures that I never saw before while I was part of a church, and being taught the word by pastors. Eternal security, salvation by faith alone, the rapture doctrine, the trinity, etc.  Also, during my journey I seriously began to question Paul.  As a result, I was so confused and up in the air about what to believe anymore.  All the while reading the Bible searching for truth. This state of being lasted for a couple of years.  When I came across your website and your books I decided I had to read them.

Well, your books have provided a landing strip for me with its clarity and thoroughness. A landing strip on which to land from my years of circling and searching for a logical path that I was hoping for to find in the scriptures.  I am finally able to put the puzzle together to a much greater extent, thanks to your writings. For that I am eternally thankful to you. Thank you for writing these. I'm sure you did not write them with the intent that they would become best-sellers, as we all know how blind and deaf and stubborn those caught up in churchianity can be. So I guess that you wrote them only because of your love for truth.  And as an aid for the few among us, whom God has graciously given eyes to see and ears to hear the truth when it crosses their path. Your books have the eternal value a million times over the monetary price for them.

Your books are written so very thorough, I can see the incredible effort and care with which you have put their content together.  I own many, many books on christianity, religion and the Bible but your two books BY FAR are my most valuable resources, and I expect I will read them several times. They provide me with real tools to reach those around me who are lost in Paulianity and evangelical teaching.

It sure is a lonely road towards the Father, but it all will be worth it in the end.

THANK YOU again, from the bottom of my heart for your obedience to the Father and for your love for the truth and for materializing the insight that the Father has given you. May you be repaid many times over in heaven for your efforts here on earth.

God bless you and yours.

Sincerely,

Esth...(7/11/2016)

Hello I wanted to thank you for your research and truth that you share. Your work has been a tremendous help to me. ... Thank you again for your wonderful work! May God Bless you. B...a (8/15/2016)

Finding your website is truly a blessing. I have long questioned the philosophies presented by Paul and held my opinion that the book of Mathew is the most reliable gospel.  I myself am a Christian, and follow the words of Jesus to the best of my ability, yet I am not perfect. I look forward to reading more of your pages and articles but I have many questions.

When I saw your site and your offer to answer questions I couldn't help but reach out. Everything seems to affirm that I was asked to seek these things out, yet guidance is a difficult thing to find in this world, and the scriptures are deep and easily misunderstood. Also I know that the word of man could have surely found its way into these pages and I want only to know my Father in heaven more. (J. 6/28/2016)

I want to thank you for your wonderful website and articles. As I have delved deeper into the Bible, I have become more suspicious of the “false grace theology” crowd and I noticed that they were always quoting Paul. They would never mention repentance. I always knew something was wrong. Thank you for your wonderful insight.

Sincerely, Greg (4/21/2016)

Hello

When YHVH first opened my eyes to His Word I strove to obey it by following ‘Jesus’. (June 4th, 1990)

I then ‘learned’ I was supposed to follow the apostle to the Gentiles, Pharisee Paul. (1999) My walk with God suffered. It was confusing and divisive. I was what Vernon McGee called an ‘ultra-dispensationalist.’  I was taught that God wanted us to take Paul’s writings at their word, trumping all ‘Scripture’ that conflicted.

Then, late in 2015, I heard your interview and went to your website. Now I follow YHVH and His chosen King, His own right arm, Yehoshua Ha Mashiach, soon to be revealed as the ‘Word of YHVH’. (Rev. 19:13) Woo Hoo!

I can’t thank you enough for being obedient, using your considerable talents to right a grievous wrong regarding our Father’s real message.

As you know, Dad’s message is so dang simple a child can understand: We are all YHVH’s kids. Our Big Brother saved our butts. At least for those who, like Him, truly love and try to obey Dad. To obey is to love and care for fellow ‘earthlings’, our brothers and sisters.

Thanks, R.. And, Shabbat Shalom!  (April 9, 2016)

Bless all of you in your organization for the truth you set forth.  I am a retired high school teach (English, art, music, home economics, and Bible) who is ambitious to know the truth and follow only the truth.  In my many years of Bible study I have come to question whether Paul’s great ethics even have a place in the Messiah’s true gospel.  Through the past 1800 years, many have questioned whether Paul was an infiltrator to destroy the Truth from within.  I have researched Marcion, Gnosticism, Zoroaster, Cerenthus, and numerous contributors to the Pauline message.  My purpose has been to find “pure” truth; but, I have hoped to find some justification for his numerous contradictions to Yahshua (Jesus) and to Moses.

Is it because you have found him to be a deceiver that you promote “Jesus words only”?   I have written over 400 pages on Paul’s life, influence, and contradictions—never published—and it disturbs me greatly that Commandment-keeping churches elevate him to equality with, or corrections of, the messages of Yahshua, Moses, and the prophets!

I came out of the Adventist Church twelve years ago, and have fellowshipped with various off-shoots of World Wide Church of God and some Hebraic Roots groups. Most everything I have tested seems like dead wood!

What do you suggest?  I am listening. (Da...4/9/2016)

I was born and raised in the Assemblies of God (AG), attended regularly until the military and returned after the four year tour.  I met my wife in AG. We married and have been for 22 years.

Over the last several years my older brother has been helping me awaken to the reality that we live in. A few months back, he asked me one question that has shaken my faith right down to the foundation it was built upon. “Do you believe in Paul or Jesus?" But hey, after 45 years of being a Pentecostal and feeling solid in my faith, I started researching. If one cannot question his own beliefs (as LDS members fear to do) and dig for answers, then I don’t believe that is a true religion.

Eventually my search results landed me on your web site and I began to dig and read and research more. Verifying my findings with other sources which confirmed my findings, I was able to understand how people are getting confused and how church leaders can steer a congregation to the left or to the right.****

While discussing the epistles of Paul with my mother (70 years in AG) and going over the contradictions, she agreed with each one.

She had never been presented with this type of presentation and began to understand that I wasn’t renouncing my belief in our Lord Jesus Christ. Instead, she realized I was simply removing the confusion. It is not my place to condemn, curse or judge Saul. But by simply placing the epistles of Paul aside and following the word of God allows me to become even closer and stronger in my Christianity.

****

I ask others .... is it possible that the devil was in Damascus and used Saul to alter the word of God just enough to confuse people? Come judgement day did you do nothing because of Grace or did you feed the homeless, clothe the poor and loved your neighbor? Mr. Stev.... (4/2/2016)

Hi! About a month ago I had a true moment of conviction from the Holy Spirit and decided to turn back to my faith in Jesus (or at least what I thought I had left). When I began to study the Bible again I asked God for wisdom to understand things that have troubled me over the years, and the Lord spoke to me (believe it or not). He told me, "You're going about this the wrong way. You're trying to interpret the teachings of Jesus by the epistles instead of using Jesus' teachings to interpret the other texts." I've often found over the years that I have had great joy in studying the prophets and Jesus' words, but Paul has always troubled and confused me. I'm an academic, so after four years away from biblical study my approach has been to review things critically. Paul's teachings are inconsistent with Jesus' message. ****

Thanks for this site. I've only read a bit here, but it's blessed me tremendously to know I'm not the only one who has been troubled by the inconsistencies.

In gratitude, James (3/30/2016)

YES this is awesome. Truly I love what is being taught by Jesus Words Only. Finally people are investigating and truly searching for GOD, not a fairy tale, but the true GOD.I will be reading and researching your website. At this moment I am elated to find like minded believers who have taken the time to find the truth! As I move through these studies, I will be glad to put a statement on the site. Please don't hesitate to send any helpful tips regarding the studies, or new information. THANK YOU so much.

God bless you

Thank you so much for your kind reply. I am amazed to find someone who has a website that is so much in agreement with the thoughts and conclusions I have reached in my spirit for some time now.   In fact I have felt that teachings of Paul were so in conflict with the teachings of"The Master" that I had all but given up on what is referred to as Christianity today.  I was looking for something that is based on The Early Church and the true teachings of Jesus. Something like "The Way", as spoken about in the Gospels. Your website is one of two I've found that teach the truth concerning Yeshua/ Jesus...most of the others have been been tainted by the writings of Paul. Thank you again and God's Blessings, Gary. (2/6/2016)

I discovered Doug's [Jesus' Words Only] a couple years ago and am very pleased to see that I am not alone in this field.  He is criticized as would be expected, by Paulinists.  I believe he is walking and writing in Truth, and am pleased to share his work.  My views are contained in 'The Way'.   Doug has a much more polished presentation than I.  (The Way of YHWH Website.)(January 17, 2016)

I have always questioned Paul's significance to the Scriptures. When I first started reading it years ago, something just didn't match up about his spirit. It was like Paul invited himself to a party he wasn't invited to. Most kids are taught not to question The Bible, but we are to compare everything to Biblical truths. Your insights are compelling. As long as we hold dearly to the words of Christ, everything else is moot. Thanks T (January 16, 2016)

‘Toda Raba’ for your work! It was THE KEY to my repenting back to YHVH’s simple message. AWESOME job brother!! May Yehovah bless your sox off.  Now following ‘King Yehoshua’, the ‘Dabar of Yehovah’ -  Rev. 19:13 (R. 12/29/2015)

I appreciated the article jesus vs Paul's teaching.  I find it interesting  the whole site.  You guys are doing a kind of clear cut without going into fanaticism. On a personal note. And I don't really have to have an answer or you may not have an answer.   But if people take Paul's out of the equation, Doesn't that redefine the whole take on the faith?  Jesus was more on deeds as opposed  to Paul's who focused as to only faith? Weren't some early xtians who believed that bit [about works who] didn't survive?  Anyway if you guys have any article on it, Just send me the link if you can. Thanks.   P.s. I'm a Jew but don't really let superstition take over (Eng. 12/28/2015)

I have your book Jesus Words Only.  I thank God for your ministry!  (Barbara 12/28/2015)

Bless you for your hard work. Your site is the clarification I've been looking for. Yah bless you! (Chris, 11/26/2015)

I finished your book Jesus’ Words Only.  Excellent!! I have been enjoying reading many different articles on your site.  In one article in particular (I can’t presently recall the title) I was very excited to see Anthony Buzzard and Frank Viola mentioned. As to my issue with Paul-this originally started with a sense of confusion, and feeling as though there were two different messages being taught in the New Testament.  I eventually realized Paul was the problem, but didn’t quite know why.  For years now, I’ve vacillated between believing he is a false prophet or that he is just misinterpreted.

Your book has settled this issue!

Of course, I now see another struggle…how do I proceed now that I’m undoubtedly a heretic in the eyes of main stream Christianity?!! ????

Thank you for writing your book, all the wonderful articles, and the extensive work you do.  It’s truly been a blessing to me.

Sincerely,

Debbie (11/18/2015)

Everyone can benefit from your time spent teaching the truth. I hope they listen and obey. Well, whoever doesn't will regret it. Hopefully they regret it before they die, and follow up their regret with obedience! (Sarah 11/16/2015)

This is the first time I have heard someone say these things. I have taught on this subject for years. What a relief that I'm not the only one who follows the way, the truth and the life! (Sarah 11/5/2015)

Your on line writings are still an encouragement and teaching resource that I greatly love to read and double check facts presented. (Richard E. 10/21/2015)

My comment is that I am blown away by both the quality and the quantity of you work product. Did you write all of these unattributed articles? (John 9/30/2015, author Second Look at Jesus.)

Hey Douglas. How are you? I'm doing great. I just wanted to share wth you when we were in the South Pacific at a YWAM base visiting I was able to share with a guy who had come to my study room he was involved in sexual immorality. He went through a Discipleship Training School and he was hoping to be set free from his sexual immorality lifestyle but because the YWAM base was also teaching Paul's gospel he was able to justify continuing in his sexually immoral lifestyle. When I met him it was the last two nights before he was to leave to go back to California and I was able to share with him for 3 hours and explain to him the Gospel according to Jesus and his eyes were opened once I explained the difference. He was totally saved. And the next day he shared with his team that he had been saved by Jesus Christ and it was only because he rejected the words of Paul and trusted the words of Jesus to repent, believe and obey that he got saved.
So I just wanted to pass on this story to you that I had in dealing with this young man from California that was gloriously saved by the words of Jesus - the gospel of Jesus Christ. So thanks to you for doing the work you've been doing and the work you have done and continue to do. This is also to your credit that this young man was saved so I just wanted to pass this good news on to you and to show you that there are many people like him that continue to live in sin because of the mixed words of Paul with the words of Jesus. And so once he rejected Paul's words and received the words of Jesus he was saved. He understood, and the light came on, and his eyes were opened and he was born again. Six months he had been in a Discipleship Training School and they had no clue of how to reach this person engaged in sexual immoraltiy on their team. Now he was saved. It's only because he accepted the words of Jesus - repent, believe and obey. This is the fruit of your labor, God bless u! (9/17/2015, H. in South Pacific.)

Hi D

Whew. It's a battle not to study your work every waking moment. Yahweh's
simplicity astounds me. He has given you talents and understanding beyond
measure. I for one am eternally grateful.
Just thought I'd send along an encouraging word. (R. 9/9/2015)

Appreciate all your work. Amazing articles and started reading the material in 2013, love the easy reading. Try to wade through Greg Bahnsens Theonomy in Christian Ethics...there is no point in making a difficult subject harder by writing style. Look forward to another book soon? Thanks for everything (Sh...8/28/2015)

Hello Mr. T

I read you book JESUS WORDS ONLY and found it extremely interesting and eye-opening, to say the least. I would like to know if you know of any meetings or gatherings of like-minded people in Southern California, because every other "Christian" thinks just following Jesus alone is crazy. I am in the San Bernardino area. Thank you. (V. August 26, 2015)

Your words make perfect sense to me. And I've been under the instruction of an ultra-dispensationalist of the first order for years. A college math professor named.... I now have another area of study to unlearn. ;-) Thanks you so much for your work. (Ramsay August 25, 2015)

I think you're on the right track Doug - and I needed to read your book and studied it for at least a year before I had to give in and totally let go of Paul and any inventions to pretend maybe the writings of Paul were doctored up and not as Paul gave it - I had to face the facts as you presented the truth of God and Christ. (Richard E. 8/20/2015)

I’m writing to let you know I’ve been reading your site for a few days and much of what you have is quite interesting regarding Paul.  I have seen material like this in the past, but never presented as well as you do.  Suffice to say much of what I have read that is done in an objective manner is a real punch in the gut.  Honestly, I have, on my own, asked a couple of the questions  you deal with, so it is really something to see them addressed like you manage to do so well.  Not that these things make me feel comfortable or confident.  You have really thrown me for a loop, honestly, so congratulations. (James, Texas, August 13, 2015)

Dear Brother Douglas. Praise and Glory to Yah!!! We are now aware of the wrong words of the man who calls himself an apostle of Jesus (Paul). He is just a mere person, speaking evil to the chosen people of Yah. He speaks against the Torah and the doing away of Yah's commandments. You helped me greatly to understand this Paul. I have helped our orphans and members to understand the truth. Christians must decide whether Paul is to be called an apostle or not. I have now the full idea about Paul's evil words and poor teachings in all his so-called letters. I came to disqualify all his letters. This man is from the Devil. I classify him as the False prophet without fear. How can a man be against Yah's Chosen generation, Against the Torah and Yah's commandments -- even the Shabbat, and people still call him an apostle!!!???? (Brother Pius, Kenya, formerly pastor until gave up the title to be just a brother)(Aug 6, 2015)

Doug:  Thank you for taking the time to clear up my questions.  I came upon your website and have been reading over the past two days (I teach philosophy as a lecturer at a state university.)  I knew you were educated by the reading level and grammar.  And your thorough research - well it made sense when I read your bio and found you to be an attorney.  Excellent articles and it is refreshing to find someone else who was suspicious about the so-called 'Apostle' Paul.  (Debbie 6/1/2015).

Thank you very much for posting the studies you have covered concerning Saul/Paul. Being able to read your posting saves a person like me many hours of study and brings to my attentions many-many things I would have no doubt missed. The many articles covered on this subject matter by your web site is wonderful.  (5/24/2015, John)

I stumbled upon your site in my research and I am very grateful for it. For over a year now I have felt very strange when it comes to Paul. It began in a heated conversation in my small group about how we should cast out homosexuals. I argued that that is not how Jesus calls us to behave. He calls us to love and to not judge. Since then I have researched Paul and it seems I am not the only one who questions him. I have a VERY hard time believing his conversion story, but I feel blasphemous wanting to toss out over half of the New Testament. I was raised Baptist and currently attend a "baptist" church, although it is basically non-denominational. My question is - is there a denomination or religion that believes everything in the bible EXCEPT Paul's writings? I do not believe I am Jewish as I believe Christ to be the Messiah. Where is the in between?

Thank you!! (Robbi 5/15/2015)

I would like to begin by thanking you for your work. I have found that it tracks rather well with my own research and experience. I found you article of the removal of the phrase "This day I have begotten you" to be especially helpful. Your Articles are numerous but I will be reading more of them and also using some of your material for the Christian Education class I conduct weekly at my church. (John 5/14/2015)

Doug

My wife and I put in a lot of time reading your website information this week, often late into the night.  You make a lot of good points and the title Jesus' Words Only speaks volumes.  It would be great without knowing that it was at the expense of Paul’s writings.  We have discussed this all week. We were all in on what Jesus says before this.  I’ve not read Paul’s writings in any length to have even remotely thought to take his words over Jesus’s.  The mere thought sends shivers up my spine.  Doesn’t mean that things he may have written didn’t work into one’s mind or thoughts, but who ya going to put your faith in?  Our beliefs are in Jesus, that’s clearly our “center” of our foundation.  Your writings create an emphasis on that and clarifies other issues that one should be aware of. Thanks a ton. (Glenn 5/2/2015)

Doug:

In November of 2012 events in my life literally brought me to my knees in prayer.  Desperate for answers and seemingly not getting any I cried out for help.  Many prayers followed and to make a very long story short I met a man much younger than I that introduced me to your book and website.  I have been glued to it ever since as well as stumbling across many other pieces of information about Paul, some right out weird I must admit.

At first it was very hard to consider this information as I have been a Christian for about 35 years, although most of that time in name only.  It's been in recent years along with growing older I have gotten much more serious about my faith.

I have read many of the articles on your website and I realize this issue is not a new one and has been going on for a long time even right up to the time Jesus walked the earth. Obviously even Jesus must have anticipated or may even have seen it happening before his very eyes since he warned about it.  WOW, how have we missed this in Christianity?

I can see only one solution to every problem of mankind. We need follow and understand the easy message that Jesus taught in favor of the flesh appealing message of Paul.  How does one boldly proclaim this in the public arena?  It's very obvious you will be persecuted. I am only just starting to present and proclaim what I am seeing and I am getting major pushback.

WOW, it's very sad and deep inside of me I've always suspected something wasn't right, it just seemed that too many messages had the flesh appeal, the excitement, and the new movement, always something.  People especially Pastors/Clergy seemed to be bothered by my questions when I had them.  I never understood why a person whose foundation was built on solid ground could be so easily shaken by my questions. That's always bothered me.

Day after day I kept asking myself what is wrong.  Early one morning I was awakened and the words I heard in the stillness of the early morning night is that we have all been deceived.  It was my pondering and questioning of what this meant and my prayers that I truly believe have through circumstances led me here to your website.

[Now] I have a peace and a freedom I have always looked for, my gut tells this is right. It feels like the truth has arrived.  Now to reevaluate and unlearn all that I have been programmed to believe, this is the task at hand.  I am finding myself repenting of many, many things.  I hope that sometime down the road I am not repenting for this to.  I truly do put Jesus first in my life.  If I can't trust his words then whose can I trust?  After all there is no contradiction between what God says and what I find Jesus says. Can't be.

Thank you for your ability to research and to bring a complex topic together with clarity to someone with a mind like that I can understand.

God Bless Completely

L

You folks have done an amazing job shedding light on what has been hiding among us in plain sight for over a thousand years, taking advantage of people’s naiveté, ignorance and general inability to investigate in depth due to the nature of the subject and the expertise necessary to make sense of the volumes of documents that overwhelms even the academics. It was difficult for me to overcome the idea that people who present themselves as representatives, or agents of “God”, could be so driven by conflicts of interests with those they claim to care for! Exceptions notwithstanding, that is the sad truth.
THANK YOU for taking the time and I truly appreciate it. May you find the courage and tenacity necessary to stay on course and with a Pauline zeal undo the damage done by Paul. (P. Feb. 6, 2015)

Thank you very much for the clarification concerning Paul's testimony. I had heard of this in the past, but had not realized the detail until I found your website. (RM 1/30/2015)

I'm enjoying all that there is to read on your website. I have such a hunger for this truth and it is a blessing to have someone that shares the same view as myself. I grew up in the Full Gospel Church. But at the age of 14, my mother joined the Seventh Day Adventists. It was a bit confusing to keep Sabbath on a Saturday but later it did make sense. Later in my adult years and married life I went back to the Full Gospel. But Yahweh in all of His wisdom from thereon directed my life and I now can see Yahweh's hand in all of it. In 2012,  I started questioning Paul because I realized if Jesus tells us repeatedly in Revelation the same commandmends as when He was walking on earth in the flesh, how is it possible that in between those pages I'm being told not to keep the commandments. It didn't make sense to me. But I will ever be thankful for the day I came across your website. Thank you again sir. Yahweh' blessings be upon you. L (1/11/2015)

Years ago I considered Paul, his work, and his ideas, and then I asked myself a question: "Why did Jesus need this third leg in His operation? Didn't he already have twelve Apostles for this work? Why would he work with and train twelve men to carry out His mission, only to usurp that purpose and hire this Saul fellow, giving him 2/3rds of the NT and a prominence that eclipsed all the others? What exactly could Saul do that the Apostles couldn't? It doesn't make sense."

I happened upon some of your work on the Internet, quite accidentally. What I read at first was a bit difficult to believe, though I did find some initial points plausible. But the more I considered your arguments, the more sense it all made. The Church has gone to the dogs because of Paul's writing, not in spite of it. Paul needlessly gunked up the simplicity of Yahshua, and with it, the lives of countless Way-farers. When I compare his complicated writings with the simplicity, directness, pragmatism, and good sense of the other epistles, it becomes clear that Paul is an eyesore. He talked too much for someone who told the truth. Moreover, I suspect Paul is very much of the lineage of Simon Magus; i.e., the spirit of that wicked man. Both desired the office of an Apostle and both had his means of acquiring it. Magus used Magick as his sorcery, and his sign of a man God-approved, and Paul used conceptions and argument and dogma as his personal Magick for the same purpose. And people have been laboring under the spell of his writings since.

Any way, thanks for your work. It has taken my attempts at liberation into a new direction. E. (12/30/2014)

Man, what I am learning from your site is SOMETHING else. Every time I read another of your topic writings I see things in a logical balanced understanding.

Man, again, I appreciate your teaching and expounding on the truth.

There is alot more that I will study and read. I want a closer connection and a truer repentance with Jesus.

Thanks.

Thank you for your work! I am a young believer and I woke up this morning at sunrise to read and increase my knowledge as I understand the Book commands and found your page...and I just love it! Your point of view is so similar to mine that I feel somehow relieved whenever I find people with my point of view.

I just wanted to thank you for your clear opinion on the topic. Kind regards and thank you again for your amazing work!!! The word of Jesus is light, don't give up the hard work! Peace!!! (LS 12/4/2014)

Hi Doug,

There is one other website I attempted to read about Paul, and the author probably has some good facts about Paul but he is so rude and sarcastic I could not bother with it.

I so appreciate how much you really seem to care about the people you are reaching, and after all, we can only make a difference by being examples of JESUS' love.  (J.L. 11/26/2014)

Hello Doug,

After emailing you, I started reading other parts of your website and stumbled on your beliefs page. I began reading your book, maybe a year ago? Not sure. I just recently came back to it after reading that other book on Paul (Yada Yah's book The Truth About Paul.). I've been struggling over Paul for about a year or so. There were so many contradictions and things that just didn't make any sense. Then, the past few days, I've been devouring your book. (It is quite good and the case is ironclad that Paul is definitely, in my mind anyway, "The" False Apostle). I haven't really been able to stop reading it (HTML version).

The reason I was conflicted is because of all the intricate exegesis' on Paul by Hebrew Roots people. (Eliyah.com has videos that teach Paul was just "hard to understand.") I tried to buy into these explanations but the arguments had too many holes in them. Besides that, if you just read Paul and let him speak through his own words, well, you know what happens then. Even my mother realized this and she isn't what I would call someone who is passionate about studying the scriptures. (I say that respectfully of course, my mom is a loving person). She considered Paul to be at the very least, very, very confusing.

It seems like people have to go through an extreme amount of scriptural acrobatics to justify Paul's confusing and contradictory epistles. So much so that they somehow sacrifice their own credibility in the process. What exactly are they holding onto, or rather, why do they hold onto Paul so vigorously? It always amazed me at how people can be so intelligent and bright in seeing one truth while being completely blind to another, almost obvious truth.

Mario (11/11/2014)

Hello,

I'm reading your book and I really like it. I don't like it because it is entertaining but because I believe you speak the truth, or rather, the Scriptures speak the truth concerning Paul in relation to Yahushua's teachings. Yahuchanan. (11/10/2014)

Hello, I recently discovered your website, along with the concept that Paul was not a true Apostle (though, I had always wondered what negated Matthias...). This is rather new to me, though several questions I had always possessed were answered quite poignantly in your articles. I especially appreciated your article on Paul and women. ( I would like to hear more on that topic, if you take requests!). As a woman who has headcovered and bought into the idea of submission as Paul taught it, I was refreshed to read it. Thanks for that. A (11/1/2014)

Good Shabbat!

I have enjoyed "Jesus' Words Only" immensely as it contains a wealth of powerful observations and conclusions I wholeheartedly share and endorse. Like the author, I started out in the evangelical Protestant world and then read, studied and reasoned my way beyond the Pauline epistles and the convoluted teachings, claims and arguments they make and embody. (Dr. P 10/11/2014)

Hello,

For sometime now, I've felt that I needed to observe the true Sabbath but was unsure of what that meant.  With the help of google, I found many articles that answered questions and left me with even more questions.  In time, I started to doubt Paul's teachings.  Of course, one of my first concerns was my salvation if I disregarded many passages in the Bible.  When I came upon your site, all my questions were answered and I believe that God sees that all I want to do is follow His word and the words of Jesus. If I put man's words aside and live by God's words alone, I'm not missing anything.

Many thanks and His blessings on you for your courage to share the message.

Love and peace,

B (10/2/2014)

Hi Doug!

I can't remember exactly how I stumbled across your website, but your in depth research and commitment to Jesus' words only have really changed my way of thinking.  I am on a quest for absolute truth and I am so appreciative of your hard work and research being made available to all who are seeking truth.  I grew up believing all the things I think you always believed according to Covenant or Reformed Theology, but I could never reconcile or quite embrace nor understand why I couldn't do anything toward my salvation, but since I'm saved I had to live a certain way, but I wouldn't be held accountable for it, but then on the other hand I would...so many contradictions led to my search for truths which led me to an expose on Paul, which led me to your website.  If I dump Paul (which is not easy when you have believed all your life in his doctrine), everything that confused me so much now makes much more sense.  I happily dump him in exchange for Jesus' words only. (Jane 8/23/2014)

First let me thank you for your website. It has opened my eyes concerning Paul. Blessings, Gene (8/20/2014)

Btw, your book is the best I have ever read on this topic or any other. (Onias, 8/6/2014)

Thanks for your website. I belive as you do about Paul. And I have read most of your website. (Roberto, Sweden, 8/2/2014)

Hi my dear brother in Christ, my name is F.P.Josh. I'm so happy and thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ and His Father this morning, because I found your website. Matter fact, it's one of my friends who sent me your link. And I'm so pleased that I'm not the only one who had this revelation about Paul. I'll soon release my book which is "APOSTLE PAUL'S CASE, and I would like you to allow me to send you my press release. May God of Abraham, of Isaac, and Jacob shine His Face upon you and encourage you to open the eyes of all Christians. Best Regards (F.P., 7/16/2014)

What a treasure trove of info here. Thanks Tommy (7/15/2014)

Hello, I just wanted to thank you about this website. Jesus is the Only One.
I had a very interesting sharing experience with a friend I only knew through facebook: we both were over Paul's writings, and we had exactly the same feelings at exactly the same moment: Paul makes the Bible blurry and adds darkness, but Jesus is perfectly clear and brings brightning by His words. I'm amazed to see this website has so many visitors. I really think God is waking many people up.

Please, translate in French, Spanish and Chinese (at least). I can help you with French and Spanish. Bye, thanks, and be blessed. (Isi, France)(July 4, 2014).

Hi, great website, I’ve read a few pages now and plan to read it all.

I guess I’m a lone Christian, as I love Jesus/scriptures, but do not accept Paul. I believe Paul stepped right into the shoes of Judas, but was just better at the job. So I was happy to find your website.

I imagine you get some hate mail! That’s to be expected, people have totally blanked me because of my views. Paul is a subject which is highly emotionally charged if you call him into question.

I find it impossible to sit through church services that quote Paul as authority. After 30 years a Christian, I find I am now all alone in my thinking, except for my mother who has been Christian for 50 years, who also has now seen it, through what I have shown her. I rumbled Paul around a year ago after over 3 decades of believing he was God’s special Apostle, but I’ve got his number now. That’s how long it took me. I don’t believe people see it without lots of study, which most Christians don’t do. They seem to think the Bible miraculously got put together by the hand of God, and therefore do not question anything. To them, Paul is as important, if not more important, than Jesus himself. They believe that without Paul, there is no complete story. The gospels are just not enough for them!

Regards Jan (6/22/2014)

Thank you seems so inadequate for all that I have learned from you. You are so gracious and willing to share the fruits of your hard work. All the hours of study and research you put into your lessons is hard to comprehend. For you to share all that knowledge, free of charge, is truly amazing. Shalom Pat (6/17/2014).

Hi,

Thank you for your reply and all of the great info! I appreciate you taking the time to do that. I completely agree with taking Jesus' words only and that Paul is definitely warned about.

Thanks again for your website! (R, 6/14/2014)

I am amazed at all the research you have done and by the fact that you share it so willingly. You are a true servant, disciple, instructor of the truth. May the favor of our Father abound in the life of you and your family, (Pat 6/9/2014)

I'm new to this site and in the very infant stages of abandoning [what passes for] religion in favor of a true relationship with Jesus. The articles I've read on this site have been very enlightening and encouraging. Thank you for that. (D, 6/4/2014)

I have been reading your book and I must say it is AWESOMENESS AMPLIFIED! Emoji  Your book has to be the best exposure on Paul book I have read so far. (Z 5/27/2014)

Your studies and teachings have helped me answer questions that I have been pondering for years. I have felt like I was wandering in the wilderness looking for answers. I feel confident in your teachings because you have done such extensive study and research and gone back to the original Hebrew. It seems that every answer brings forth another question, and I guess that is a good thing. Forever grateful, Pat (5/24/2014)

Since I was directed to your website, I have fallen in 'love' with it Emoji There is so much information to take in. (ZN 4/27/2014)

An excellent and comprehensive study... and one every Christian should be aware of.  (JSR 4/24/2014)

I have felt like I live on an island for the 3-1/2 years that I have known about the problem of Paul.... I taught in a Baptist church (7,000 members) 3 times a week to ladies: Tuesday night Bible study; Thursday morning Bible study and Sunday morning Bible study for 12 years....The revelation of "Paul" actually came to me in a Bible study in 2011 as we were about to study JAMES.  Beth [] was leading it and began by telling us to turn to 1 Cor. 15. As she began reading the list of people who first saw the resurrected Jesus I sat there staring at the page, and I was fearing my thoughts might actually be heard. I could not wait to get home and begin checking out Paul, thinking I must be crazy to question anything in the Bible.  Finally, after two years and 17 notebooks (handwritten) on this topic, it came into my mind "Could ANYONE ELSE IN THE WORLD POSSIBLY BELIEVE PAUL IS A FALSE APOSTLE?"  I felt like I was the only one. So I googled "Paul true or false apostle," and I got your website.   I know I am CALLED TO THIS MESSAGE but WHO IS GOING TO WANT TO HEAR IT?  The true remnant, I know, but WHERE ARE THEY?  I just need ONE to encourage me.  We have all been so deceived for so long. It is so obvious to me now once my eyes were anointed  with eye salve. God has "opened my eyes to see WONDERFUL THINGS IN HIS LAW."  Paul caused all the confusion, and I believe the days are coming soon when the Father will remove this sickness from the midst of us.  (J 4/24/2014)

I have read Jesus's Words Only, and dowloaded the eBook on Salvation. I teach theology at my Episcopal Church, and have for two other churches. Over ten years I have begun to reach similar conclusions that you write about. (4/19/2014 G)

Hi Doug ! Greetings to you and your dear wife and family.

I have been reading enthusiastically your articles..indeed, books, regarding Paul. I am overwhelmed......and yet relieved because I am now able to unload the confusion that Paul's words create. Thank you...you have helped me to understand the Word. (RJ 4/21/2014)

I have read Jesus's Words Only, and dowloaded the eBook on Salvation. I teach theology at my Episcopal Church, and have for two other churches Episcopal, and Anglican Catholic. Over ten years I have begun to reach similar conclusions that you write about. (4/19/2014 Anon.)

Thanks for defining the issues of the "Christless" who manage in every way to ignore Jesus, often diluting his messages. (Russ 4/4/2014)

I have started reading the book, Jesus Words Only. It impresses me. The author is a good writer and Bible theologian. I appreciate your effort. JWO is a thorough book, and well researched. I am still in chapter 12.(4/4/2014, Olatun)
As I say, I have barely scratched the surface of your writings...but am immersed and enthralled by them !

What I have clearly learnt so far is, that Jesus is our Lord and anything that is contrary to His Word must be contrary to God.  I am seeing Paul in a new light...rather a dim light now.....and I thank you for this revelation which you have been instrumental in causing.

Take care,  and thank you.  Your writing is invaluable to understanding and making clear the Word of Jesus. With sincere greetings and regards,  Rodd (3/28/2014)

As I work through the book Jesus' Words Only, I am reading three chapters at a time and going back. The number of points made is astounding and the amount of detail and references of each point, one after another had to take much much time.

I want to say, that the book is Significant. This is correcting 1700 years of going in the wrong direction. I am on page 300 now. I am sure your book can get traction in a grass roots movement. That I am sure. (David 3/16/2014)

I have just discovered your website, and I must say: Well Done! Your research is impeccable. (J.B. 3/17/2014)

I too am a believer in Jesus Words Only. I am glad I found your site.
Interestingly I am persecuted for my beliefs by fellow christians and
family. Thank you for your site. It is an encouragement to me. (L 3/13/2014)

Thank you for your web-site and the articles. I myself have been thinking along somewhat similar lines. I have been uncomfortable by the use of Paul's (or other apostles') words to apparently contradict or even nullify Jesus' words...I am glad I have found your web-page and hope to read your thoughts in due course.
Thanks! (Dr. KC  March 8, 2014)

Dear Doug,

I have been reading again your book Jesus' Words Only.  Prevously I just speed read it.  I find it takes reading each chapter about three times before I can comprehend each point, the implications and the reason you made the point.  Of course most books are not worth reading intensely.  I find I enjoy JWO and it is a joy to read.

Dave (2/25/2014)

Excellent! I was gathering information to write my own thoughts on the subject of Paul's Contradiction of Jesus, when I found your article. I stopped my writing effort, because this said what I was trying to express. Nice work and balanced too! (Greg R. 2/22/2014)

Dear Sir,

I have only very recently found your website and am having my eyes opened !
( Somewhat in amazement...not always in agreement...save that of putting our Lord Jesus in first place every time.) (RJ 2/15/2014)

On Jesus' Words Only question, I believe if Jesus said it- then He meant it. And it's time everyone started to understand the "first and last" word begins with Jesus. No matter what anyone says- the end time test, will be based on WHAT DID JESUS SAY and do you follow HIS COMMANDMENTS. It won't matter what Peter, James, John and Paul said OR what anyone else has said, since them. ITS ABOUT- WHAT DID JESUS SAY. For a free eBook entitled -WHAT DID JESUS SAY http://www.foundationsforlife.org/WDJS.html (Terry Allan Christian, 2/1/2014, Facebook.)

I discovered your website during one of my excursions through cyberspace, and for the last week or so I have gone back several times to read more about your ideas.  I liked them enough to order your book “Jesus Words Only” from Amazon, unfortunately your second book “Jesus’ Words on Salvation” is not currently available.  Happily both are free on your website.  I look forward to reading them both.

I have long thought that the standard assumption about how Christianity got started is false.  The Catholics taught that Jesus had a clear message that was later distorted and/or corrupted by various heresy groups.  But there are scholars who have published books that suggest that the various heretic groups were the original expressions of Christianity and a later “proto-orthodox” group that wanted to control everyone labeled all the others as heretics and over the next several centuries began eliminating them.  Orthodox means correct belief and heresy means free choice.  Just to name two of those books: 1) Orthodoxy and Heresy by Walter Bauer, and 2) Lost Christianities by Bart Erhman.

I also have a problem with Paul.  Focusing on how Paul got started, I see a flat contradiction between what Paul says about his origin in Galatians 2 and what Luke says about him in Acts.

I just wanted to drop you a note and say that I appreciate your courage to write those books and put up the website and I wish you the best for the future.  (David, 1/22/2014)

I really enjoy how you share so much information on the topic and I think it will greatly help those who don't yet grasp the need to hear and do what Jesus taught. (Richard 1/22/2014)

I was born and raised in a Christian home and family but we lacked the understanding of the Bible. I think though that God answered my prayer for guidance when suddenly He showed me the writing I have been looking for - The Jesus Words Only Principle. Indeed the explanation posted which I just read is great and amazing. (Abraham 1/21/2014)

Hello-

Long time Christian- intrigued and studying the information you provide.  Thank you for the site. God Bless, Matt (1/15/2014)

Thank you very much for your highly interesting and informative JWO book. I've long been convinced that Paul was a false apostle, but somehow (perversely?) that makes him a fascinating historical figure to me. I'm still at a loss to explain *why* he did what he did, though. (EB 1/13/2014)

Your web page is fascinating! I'm wishing I knew more Christians I could share this with!!!!

Every pastor, everyone, the epistles, everything points to Jesus, so I have decided to just start studying his commandments. I googled "Jesus words only" and your web site came up. - Really I think the most fascinating web site I have ever come across. Great work!! (Antonia 12/17/2013)

I have been reading only books in the New Testament written by the Apostles. What is your opinion on this and which books in the New Testament do you find acceptable?

Read your books by the way and love them. Keep up the good work Brother. (Will 12/17/2013)

Hello brothers and sisters in Yahshua.

The journey for me to get to the truth that you teach has been a long one. But I made it. Love your work, keep it up. (Ryan Dec. 3, 2013)

Looking over your site again. I agree with you about Dispensational theology under the section “Competing Love For Paul / Pauline Doctrine”. Although I fall under covenant theology, my brethren and I in the churches of Christ strongly disagree that Christ’s words before His resurrection would not apply to the New Covenant as some do believe, and add to that the numerous prophetic predictions throughout the Old Testament especially from Isaiah to Malachi include the everlasting covenant to come by God’s Messiah. Lastly, we do disagree that Christ’s words are contrary to Paul’s. (Scott, Pastor in Church of Christ, 11/21/2013)

The first thing that threw me off about Paul was his Conversion stories on the road to Damascus. He had 3 different stories. Acts 9, Acts 22:5-, Acts 26:13 -18. The men see a man but heard no voice, then heard a voice but seen no man, Paul only fell to the ground, and then they all fall to the ground. Which story is it? Translation issues are out of the question. These scriptures are completely opposite of each other. At this point I knew something was fishy about Paul but I didn't quite get it. But I left it alone and kept going to church believing  and being faithful and quoting from Paul all the time. Then I came across Jesus' words only and boy am I glad I did. Now I feel I have a revelation that most don't know about and I'd like to know how to go about telling others though about it. [Comment on You Tube by Trav W 11/11/2013]

I've been worried lately that the church has abandoned Jesus in favour of Paul, disobeying John14:15. I googled to see what people think and was delighted to find your well researched and extensive list of contradictions, explaining why we should return to the "words in red". Thank you for your work. Errol (11/11/2013)

 Hello,

I have to thank you so much for this website.
My friends and I have broken free of what we thought was a fellowship but was in fact a cult.
Even while in this cult and hearing the teachings of the Bible I could not understand the contradiction coming from the leader even though it was coming from the Bible.
The leader based a lot around the teachings of Paul. When I left, it became glaringly obvious to me whilst reading Paul that it did not make sense and the Lord led me to read only HIS words. This has been heavy upon me and yesterday I googled JESUS WORDS ONLY in the hope to find something with only His in there.
WELL, He put me straight on to you guys! Fantastic. I feel so relieved as it is answering so many questions we have. ( It is so good to know now I was not imagining these things.)
I thank the Father for your insight and revelation on this person and all he has done to confuse and undo God's word in the people who are earnestly seeking him.
We are very excited to learn more from you and undo all the harm Paul's words have done. Now all is finally making sense in Jesus' words from those who were truly with Him. God Bless you Merridy (11/4/2013)

Doug, I"ve been on your website pretty heavily for the past three weeks. It"s nice to know I"m not alone in questioning what has been taught in the institutional churches. (11/2/2013 Craig)

Dearest One,

I've also wondered about Paul and have often said most folks should be called Paultians instead of Christians for they have the harsher heart of Paul, and not the gentle heart of Jesus.  Your site is giving me much to think about.

Thank You Greatly,
Cathy P (10/28/2013)

Doug, I have read JWO and want to thank you sincerely for your work.  I am just a little older than you and was introduced to caution about Paul, when I was a teenager, from faithful friends. I never felt I had solid Biblical evidence to throw him out of my belief structure until I read the evidence as put forth so clearly and fairly in JWO. I spent my lifetime marginalizing Paul but now he is finally off the page. I now have great relief by discarding the confusion Paul has presented to me in his writings. This is a great freedom and I thank you  again for the great work you have so humbly put forth for Christ.

Presently I am reading JWOS [i.e., Jesus' Words on Salvation] and am getting much from it. Again, many thanks for the good works you are doing.  David W. 10/26/2013

Hello Doug,

Thank you for the updates - will be sure to read up on the new articles. I actually wanted to let you know that I have truly enjoyed the article you wrote entitled The Conversion Message that Matters. Unfortunately, I have witnessed too many people using messianic Judaism as a stepping stone and eventually denying the Messiah and converting into Judaism. From conversations with some of them, I know for a fact that it's a lack of scriptural knowledge that is facilitating this denial and a fascination with Judaism. How I wish they could read your article before making this dreadful decision.
My husband and I are preparing ourselves to teach a class on this subject and equip believers with the messianic prophecies found in scriptures. We will be using a lot of the materials found in your work. Thank you for providing this information for us.
Liz (Oct. 16, 2013)

Dear Doug,

I wanted to know a name of the church that actually follows what Jesues teaches.
I have visited and looked into quite a few Churches and their beliefs.

I am glad to find your web site. It is very informative and interesting. I have been looking for answers for awhile and didn't have the sources to locate.

Thank you for your response to my questions. Vickie (10/13/2013)

Douglas,

I have been spreading the idea of Jesus' words in conjunction with the Old Testament since I was 17 (30 years ago). My path to this conclusion is different from yours, yet it is the same conclusion so I concur. Glad to Communicate with someone who knows the Truth. Michael 10/5/2013

Hi Doug. think of you often as I study the words of Jesus - In fact, I thought of you this Sunday as our sermon at church centered around Paul's ideas from the book of Acts. I still enjoy your books and your web site. And I continue to pray for you. Kindly, Walter (10/2/2013)

JWO team,  Thank you for your site.  Early in my faith, I wondered why the New Testament included so many books beyond the gospels of Christ.  When I read Galatians, of course I became even more concerned due to Paul's combative nature toward the named Apostles.  Your message has validated these observations and has given me a solid scriptural basis for my beliefs. (Charles M. 10/2/2013)

Thanks for the website reviewsIt took me a difficult time to finally realize after over 60 years that I had been misled in Paul's message.
Keep up the good work.
Shalom. (Don Si... 10/2/2013)

Hi Doug. Well...I discovered the deception of Paul/Saul on my own.  As an adult (I study a lot), I began reading only Hebrew and Greek and comparing translation (that was eye opening). I was raised Protestant and as an adult had a Messianic leaning because once I heard the truth I accepted it...so JWO is a kind of validation for me of my study, struggle and real serious agonizing over the word of YHVH.
I guess your site and your writing (which provided some really fascinating aspects and things I didn't know or consider) was really a comfort to my soul...After all you kind of nailed your argument down so well and so thoroughly that there is no excuse other than sheer persistent desire to remain ignorant and disobedient of YHVH and Yashua...   :) Anyway...Peace...I love the fact that your reaching people and that your argument is so very well thought out and decisive.  It was what I intend on doing, :) on a smaller scale, of course...Sincerely Christian (10/1/2013)

Hello Doug.

After I found your web site, which rang so true from the get-go, I sent article links to several people, including some well-known ministries several of whom turn and attacked me, in defense of Paul. The Berean Call chose to single out some of my comments regarding Paul and published their response, as if to nip it in the bud, so any doubts about Paul's legitimacy would not be further questioned. They told me that believing Paul was deceived by a false Jesus, was a trip down a slippery slope, because it would put into question a good portion of the New Testament, and that's why they would continue to support, and preach, Paul's writings and work.

Some day they will be reminded of the specific and direct warning, probably by more people than myself, that Paul is indeed a tare planted by satan and even though his writings are a mixture of both truth and lies, his words are toxic cocktail and nothing he said is pertinent to salvation, but many will be deceived to the end because of following Paul instead of following Jesus.

At this point, I cringe whenever I hear someone quote Paul when conveying a biblical principle, as a warning to me they have been deceived, as has the church, from almost the beginning. But God's tested and chosen, will come to know the truth and consider your information a BLESSING and an oasis of truth in a barren world of ignorance and deception.

Guess Paul's ministry directed by satan (angel of light), was doing exactly what major media is doing today, on so many levels - bending the truth and beguiling the masses through subtle deception and lies, and half-truths, peppered with some recognizable truths to make it all appear legit.

Bless you for exposing Paul's encounter with a false Jesus.

May God bless you, always.

Shalom,

Heidi (10/1/2013)

This subject has always intrigued me especially as we see the nondenominational world rarely using the words of Jesus anymore.  They now have infiltrated the denominational world too.  The very nexus of political correctness which is the death of truth seems to get its legs by making Paul god rather than simply inspired.  As a seventh day adventist I always find it interesting how liberal folks back peddle with Paul when I ask how they interpret Matt 5:19  (Gary K 10/1/2013)

Hi, thanking you for confirming great truths I have been pondering for some years now. I live in Ireland and was brought up as a Roman Catholic and all my friends and relations likewise.  After many encounters with other Christian Churches including a trip to the Holy Land that (included Baptism in the Jordan) have come to the conclusion that all organised religions are working to man made agendas. I would like to especially thank you for illuminating the question of The Sabbath......may Yahweh Bless Your Work.....and Yashua and The Holy Spirit increase Your Knowledge.....John (10/1/2013)

Hi Doug, Thanks for these articles. Thanks and blessings for questioning Paul and testing him. No man can serve two masters. . You seek the truth and study diligently. I think you would agree that Paul said some things true and edifying, no matter how wrong you think he was overall. Paul denied being taught by the Twelve apostles. So, he had the being saying "I am Jesus" to depend on for information. But surely anyone who witnessed or heard of the Twelve saying gentiles should not eat idol meats, blood, and strangled meat would see that Paul is not following the words of Jesus or his apostles on that issue. So, they must put down the Twelve and elevate Paul, saying the Twelve were meant to minister to Jews (circumcized) and Paul to the gentiles (uncircumcized) or Jews who recognized Jesus as the Messiah. Of course Paul says this, but that doesn't establish its truth. Wouldn't it imply that the Twelve were lying or wrong or uninspired? You are left with a tangled web, no matter how you approach Paul, IMO. To me, the truth should be simple - so simple that a child can understand.  Ian (10/1/2013).

I read your article on "Discipleship" just yesterday and also shared it with my wife last night.
"There is a radical difference between what Jesus says is required to be a disciple, and what institutional Christianity teaches about discipleship."

Anyone who will take time to truly listen to what organized religion teaches and compare that with what Jesus teaches...and then dare to challenge their belief by standing outside the traditional learning acquired over years within organized religion will (or should) find themselves awakened to the truth that Jesus did not impart to us a gospel of confusion.  For it seems that over the past 2000 or so years, the "structured church" has chosen to redefine the words of Jesus and (as you have effectively revealed with the articles on your website) chosen to embellish Pauline guidance which conflict deeply with what Jesus intended.

Let me confess now that I had not given Paul much thought other than realizing that somehow after reading his letters I questioned the contradiction and found myself retreating to the words of Jesus in order to maintain solid footing in my spiritual journey.

...I felt, and continue to feel even today, that such terminology ["God" or "Creator"] cheapens acknowledgement to the One, True Being responsible for all that we know, have known, or shall ever know.  I believe the Jews have it right...Yahweh.  I'm reminded of Moses being told (when he feared how the people would receive him bearing direction from The Lord) that "I AM" has sent you.  Still, I recognize that, for reason of convenience, the term "God" is useful during dialogue and correspondence.

Thank you for your time and the work you do. (J, 9/28/2013)

I really enjoy and am enlightened and inspired by your writings. I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts on all the oaths Paul took and how this contradicts Jesus commands in Matthew. Kevin (9/21/2013)

I read your site regularly....I appreciate the work you are doing for the Lord.  George (9/21/2013)

Hello,

I have read items on your site and was very pleased to see the Truth being told. I am wondering if you would be interested in writing an article for the guest column on my website - thepathtolight.com I hope your work in His service continues to be as much a blessing and inspiration to others as it has been for me. Take care and may YHWH bless you and yours.

In His Service,Wayne (9/19/2013)

I thank The Lord for you if your intentions are pure. I spent a few years struggling with this issue of Saul's epistles..... And the devastating realization of the ramifications and realities it manifests regarding how lost and blind the church is......I also feel for you fielding the endless droves of emails you get.... You are on the right track. Keep it up....If you have an email update or something like that, please put me on it. Alan (9/7/2013)

 Sir,

Through personal study, walking and talking with God, studying the oldest texts I could find, I've reached the same conclusions you have regarding Paul. It is uplifting to find another and one who has done even more research to confirm what I feel Jesus taught. Thank you for sharing your research on this site. I will order your book today.

Regards,
L (8/31/2013)

Doug. It's amazing how many will cast you aside as a heretic for believing Jesus.  Since the overall charge at His departure was about discipleship, immersion into the name, and keeping whatever He commanded - that's where I've focused and built back from that to the very beginning.  There are so many points made in Jesus's Words Only that I've never heard before, all I can say is to thank you for all your work and study that it took to lay the truth of the matter of Paul out so well - especially the first century Church leadership's view on canon and Paul.  **** Yours is quite a remarkable work.  Again, thanks.  (Richard 8/29/2013)

Thank-you for this site.  The truth must be proclaimed regardless of what those who cling to their traditions say and do to us.  Will be praying for you and your ministry as slowly others are seeing the light.  In Yahweh, (Judith 8/24/2013)

Keep up the good work .. we Need JESUS Teachings .. NOT PAUL. (Steve 8/16/2013)

Doug

When I look at even the titles on you website, it would be tempting to behave like a Roman at a huge banquet, gorging myself on the delicacies....

Your website is really the most exciting one I've ever seen personally, because of it's importance, clarity, depth, Biblical backup, and RARITY. (Matt P. July 31, 2013.)

Hi Doug,

Many greeting from my self and my family! I have been studying several

articles in your website and sharing with some friends. The article,"Jesus' Words on Church Structure" was wonderful and we were surprised how big a difference between the apostolic church and the modern churches! Bishops and pastors are more political rather than servants; they rule with iron fist instead of good example to the believers. I completely agree with you on this among others. I think the church of Jesus Christ needs over all reformation on its doctrine or it will miss the mark of being a virgin at the coming of the Groom. Keep us in prayer and have a blessed day, Julius (Kenya, Africa) (July 27, 2013)

Love your site.  Thanks for your hard work.
Yours in Torah and Messiah (Mark 7/25/2013)

Hello Doug,  I'm a frequent visitor to your site and enjoy your JWO work. I can certainly say that your book has been one of the most thought provoking ones I have every read, and reread.  I greatly appreciate the work you have done and the courage it has taken. (David, 7/15/2013.)

Doug

I have read most of Jesus Words on Salvation and two chapters of Jesus Words Only. The section on the canon is very shocking considering what took place with the Book of Enoch. Jude authorizes Enoch but Catholicism says no. 2 Peter is rejected by Calvin which takes away the argument that Peter endorsed Paul if this book is taken out of the canon.
I read Jeremiah 7 last night and his words are consistent with your words. He is describing a group of people who know who God is and are very religious but they are law breakers. He tells them to repent and amend their ways (NKJV) and not think they can say the "temple of the Lord." Later on in that chapter he tells them to "Obey My Voice, and I will be your God and  you will be my people...walk in the ways I have commanded you so that it will go well with you." (Shane July 12, 2013.)

Dear JesusWordsOnly,
Praise God for you!  We are not alone.  I've been writing hundreds of pages for over 5 years, mostly e-mails, to try to wake Christian leaders up to the issue of "Paul worship" in the Evangelical church.  Mostly, I've been ignored, ostracized, and persecuted.  How refreshing to see that there are actually many others who "get it."  It's like God's encouragement to Elijah when he felt alone:  "Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel - all whose knees have not bowed down to PAUL and all whose mouths have not kissed him."  [1 Kings 19:18] [Matt July 11, 2013, graduate Dallas Theological Seminary.]

Doug

I am completely "blown away" by the rigor of your argument in JWO. And I completely agree with it. Tertullian was one very smart fellow.  (WC 7/2/2013).

Doug

You make your point very well in Jesus' Prophecy About Who Identified Himself As Jesus on The Road to Damascus. If Paul can be accepted on his own testimony, visions, etc. then why can't Joseph Smith or anyone else for that matter? I thought the article about Marcion was very interesting and that the church put Paul's writings in the Bible to stop a split... There is no doubt that the modern American is Marcion to the core; all the works on systematic theology are due to people trying to reconcile Paul and Jesus unknowingly.

The death blow for me is the claim to apostleship. If there are only 12 then how is there 13? No basis whatsoever for this claim and since Paul claims he is #13 then he is deceived. If this is the case, then how is he trustworthy at all?  I believe that the reason Paul is so revered is that his writings teach pastoral authority, eldership, antinomianism, etc. If you follow Paul, you have all the justification to demand total submission from a congregation and money for hire. So money, power, prestige, and an antinomian doctrine of salvation is very attractive to leaders in modern Christianity. Since seminaries and pastors are mostly Pauline the words of Jesus get little attention. Many leaders don't want people to understand their freedom in Christ.
I watched your videos on YouTube and I ordered both of your books today. I am looking forward to reading more about  Paul vs Jesus....I was raised in a dispensational family and made a profession of faith when I was ten. I constantly doubted my salvation.  Everyone told me I was saved because I asked Jesus to save me, etc. So when I was 22 I started attending church regularly and joined a very dispensational group. As I read the Bible, I started having problems with many things in the gospels and one of my cousins gave me John Macarthur's book, The Gospel According to Jesus. I read it several times and realized that there were major problems with dispensationalism but never would I have ever thought that Paul was the issue. I always thought that my understanding was the problem and I could never make sense of 2 Corinthians, Romans 7, etc.
When I joined the Reformed camp they told me that there was a moral vs ceremonial law distinction in Paul's writings and that had to be understood or the Bible would be contradictory. I have been taught that the law is binding unless repealed vs dispensationalism and all the misunderstood passages are concerning circumcision etc. This does not take into account why Paul told people it was okay to disobey Acts 15, why he set up titles and positions, why he said it was okay to demand money, guilt trip people about what he had done for them and talk about his being taken up into the third heaven. Why didn't Peter and all those with Jesus get taken up into heaven? If all this did happen then Paul is on a higher plane than the true apostles, Moses, John the Baptist, John who received the Revelation, David, Solomon, Noah, etc. (S 7/1/2013)

Doug

I first started doubting Christianity how I knew it in late 2011...For a couple of months I just did not read the Bible and I kept praying to Jesus to show me what he is really like! I purchased the Jewish New Testament by David H. Stern, hoping this would show me how Paul really meant things. Well no, I didn't, find it there, of course. Still I kept praying daily to Jesus, asking him why did Paul make things so hard? I thought I was losing my faith.  So I enquired online, but I was cautious, not believing everything. Still, what I found threw me over! I thought I was alone with my belief that there was something wrong with Paul!!

So I searched and searched and prayed. More and more my eyes where opened but when I found your page I was free! This is because you write reasonably and plausibly, always keeping to the scriptures. You do not come across religious or doctrinal or accusative at all, not like I know it.

I do not think that what you have written will prove wrong! It is so obvious, why don't all see it? :) Also, the amount of people whose eyes were opened surely cannot be wrong. The scriptures say that God tests his people. I like your biography, where you have come from, this also shows that your motives are correct.  Keep the good work going!

Alex (June 26, 2013)

Hi Douglas,

Your teachings are becoming newer and more interesting to me every day! I read your "sabbath command" and your "statement of beliefs" and found they are Biblical and independent! "Baptism in whose name" was completely opposite of my baptism. I'm now believing we need true baptism in the name of 'Jesus' Thank you Douglas for opening our eyes with your teachings. I'm not yet convinced with the doctrine of doing away with Paul's letters. God bless you,

Julius (Kenya)

Dear Brother

I'm really impressed and astonished by all this work that you've done.  I will continue to share you website with people, and hopefully, they will wake up.  I hope you continue to write books.  They are quite the eye-opener, which is much needed in these days.

Respectfully in Yeshua, J (5/29/2013)

Dear Sir,

I am almost done with your book pertaining to how Yeshua's and Paul's words are contrary to one another.  I have really enjoyed it.  I have always thought something wrong with Paul, and your book confirmed this for me.

In the Name of Yeshua,
Jason (May 25, 2013)

The message in your books and on your website is crucial, critical, and of the utmost importance!!!  I refer people to your work as often as I can and will continue to do so.  THANK YOU!! K (5/16/2013)

Hello. My name is Lee,

I represent an organisation which calls itself  "Just give me the truth ministries" We are not a Church as such. We are the outcome of those that have simply searched for the truth and found it. We love your website and others like it. We gather as believers although we have no preacher or pastor. We do not collect money from our members and we listen only to the words of Yeshua and His hand picked apostles. Matthew, John, James, Peter and Jude.
We are in the process of printing a revised word of God and would really like to recognise your website within our publication. We would like to have your agreed response and acknowledgment  if possible. (see below). The "jesus words only" quote at the very bottom of the attached page.
Thanks for your time.
Agape and peace in The Mighty Name of Yeshua Hamashiach.

It has been a few years now that I have been on the side of believing Paul to be a false prophet. I agree with the verse you quoted below. [i.e. Jeremiah 14:14 et seq. that false prophets say all is well, and nothing to fear].  I actually find the justice of YHVH and His requirements for obedience to be far more ‘comforting’ than the gospel of grace message Pauline Christianity preaches today.  I fear we are reaping the result of this ‘unconditional love’ and free forgiveness/nothing you can do to ‘earn’ your salvation message in our society today.

The fact that you provide your books and research online free of charge is a testimony to me as well of the true intentions of your prophet (i.e., spreading God's truth) heart!!  Those that seek to profit from sharing ‘truth’ concern me.  I know books/dvd’s etc. involve cost, but too many sites charge for information that could be freely shared and/or seem to even seek a profit, and it raises my warning antennae. I return to your work again and again!! Thank you so very much for your website, hardwork, and all you share with us!!! It is truly appreciated!!!!!!!
Thanks. K (May 14, 2013)

We love your website and all the articles you have posted are so helpful. Please keep up the great work. It encourages us as well.  (A&K 5/12/2013)

Thank you Doug. I guess when you wrote at 3 am your time it was 8 am in Ghana. I'm really happy that God is revealing the truth through people like you. I have started reading Jesus' Words Only and I'm already excited !! I certainly agree with the principles. Now that you're my personal mentor,I'll not hesitate to ask any question that baffles me.  In the meantime, I'll continue to finish reading Jesus' Words Only. Thank you and God bless you. (K of Ghana 4/10/2013)

I have turned on several of my Christian friends to your jesuswordsonly.org site and they are hooked...It appears to be HaShem's time to reveal these secrets that have been so long held for fear of Pauline reprisals. (Steve S. 3/25/2013)

Some of us have been rereading your book Jesus’ Words Only, so you have been on my mind, so I thought I would write to you again.  I think you may remember that we have corresponded briefly before.  I am an old Ebionite.  We have lived in Community now to encompass 5 generations; my parents lived out their lives here and now we are having great-grandchildren born.  Ours is a horse and buggy community.

You may remember I taught your book for 10 days at our annual Ingathering some years ago (JWO).  We have rejected Paul for generations now; and we cling tenaciously to the Lord more so than most could imagine.  Our culture is designed for all people in community to walk daily in all activities with him.

It is so satisfying to have you as a brother in the Lord. (William 3/7/2013)

I have been reading the website today, and am really getting my eyes opened to what you are saying.....Thank you so much! I have been wrestling with the contradiction of Paul and James this week and I stumbled across your site. ...Thank you again so much for corresponding with me. You have become an answer to my prayers. (K 3/6/2013)

Douglas, Even though you present a plethora of inspiring and scholarly writing, I keep returning to one of your simplest and most powerful paragraphs:

"What is the worst that can happen if you disqualify Paul? If you come to agree that Paul's words are not inspired, there will no longer be any competing message on how to be saved other than what Jesus tells you. This might free you to consider what Jesus is truly teaching on how to be saved. Can that harm you? I don't think so!"  (RLH 2/24/2013)

Great research and writing.  Remarkable.  Still reading, but it is very satisfying.  Many thanks! (Robert 2/22/2013).

Brief summary of this email: I have learned from you, and value your writings. Based upon our discussions, your writings as well as a great deal of prayer, research, study, and debates with a great many other 'believers', in other words, I considered all evidence and information that I could find, I now fully agree with you about Paul being a false prophet.

For me, my primary objection to Paul's teaching is his pronouncement that God's holy law no longer applies. Regardless of all other objections to Paul, for this reason alone, I reject Paul as a teacher of truth. Paul's teaching that we are to submit to earthly authority and its law while at the same time rejecting God's holy law is clearly a teaching of the adversary. As I am sure you will agree, we are to completely submit ourselves to God, not man. (R of Costa Rica 2/16/2013)

Got a call today from someone who I gave your book to in the San Bernardino area and was very impressed and enjoyed it very much. It brought about much thought provoking concerns that he had shared. Thanks so much for your book Jesus Words Only. It has changed many lives. (DN 2/15/2013)

Hi:

Thanks a lot for your writings. I have always had a bad feeling and my reservations about 2 authors from my very childhood and I never knew why: Ellen G. White and Paul. After my real conversion and repentance I decided to follow the truth and only the truth and God showed me that first of all I should reject all the writings of Ellen G. White (I was raised in an Adventist family).

The issue of Paul never came until I finished my serious study of God’s word in chronological order (from Genesis to Revelation). Everything is in harmony from the beginning, even with the gospels, but when I reached the letters of Paul my mind started feeling uneasy again, like in my childhood. My messianic point of view helped me to study Paul with a Jewish perspective and background, but there were statements too shocking to be defended or supported by any true believer. Romans 14 [i.e., abrogation of Sabbath / no food unclean] was way too much for me.

God led me to one site attacking Paul’s ministry in such a harsh way that I even question if this was the way of defending God’s stand from a true follower of the Messiah, … but I kept searching. I bought the book “Robbing Peter to Pay Paul” thanks to your Recommended Readings section, because I could not buy JWO in a kindle version (very practical). I was amazed by all the existing proofs of Paul’s false ministry in the Bible and history that have been avoided from so many scholars and Christians.

Anyway, my point is this one… Revelation 2:14 points to the ones that hold Balaam’s doctrine: who taught to eat meat sacrificed to idols and to commit fornication. In my head was clear that Paul did teach about eating meat sacrificed to idols but I was not clear about the fornication statement. [J then explains his proofs Paul permitted fornication, as defined in Bible.] Thus, here it is. Paul revealed as the Balaam mentioned in Revelation (Philippians 1:5; 4.10-20).

I do not know if you already discovered this (I am still in the fifth chapter of JWO) but I just wanted to share this with someone.

God bless you
Shalom  (J Feb. 8, 2013)

I don't understand why evangelicals feel a need to harmonize Paul and Jesus. I've been researching the Paul problem for about three years.  I feel that if early Christian churches didn't all have Paul's letters and were still Christians that Christians today don't have to follow Paul to be a Christian. I think it's more important to follow the way of the Master: Jesus. (M 2/3/2013)

I hope you know how much I appreciate you and your ministry.  I have enjoyed your latest articles, so keep ‘em coming!  Hope you are well and happy. (G 2/2/2013)

Brother Doug

For many years, I would not give this "Paul" issue the time of day because it was so far out of the box.  When I did start looking into it, I proceeded with caution because I feared the "anti-Paul" stigma.  Now, I am beginning to see that with this issue, we must choose to fear Yahuah rather than man.  Thank you for the stand that you are taking, and for challenging and emboldening the rest of us to do so as well.  Shalom. Brother H. (1/29/2013)

Sir,

This is just a short note of appreciation and encouragement. There is only one gate into the fold. Most people think they can enter in another way. They have never received the real message of the King when HE was here. Maybe they never will. Thank you. I am sharing it as far as I go. (T. 1/24/2013)

I have followed through your JWO articles where I have learnt many things. Thanks for the work you have been doing to bring the words of the resurrected Jesus Christ to doorsteps of millions. (E.Z.U. 1/21/2013)

 Hello!

I found your site through a friend who recommended it to me. I'm finding it very helpful and I wanted to say thank you for putting this information out there! More people need to be asking the tougher questions.

Only in the past week have are truly begun to embrace the idea that Paul is not in-line with Jesus, though I have avoided his writings for nearly a year and half from the leading of the Holy Spirit and because I largely find his writings immensely confusing. I hesitated to say he was a false apostle, but after this past week, I have to conclude that he is and could very well be the man of lawlessness and/or the false prophet of Revelation. (CJ 1/22/2013)

I have independently come to these views after a year and a half at seminary. (W. 1/19/2013)

My wife and I, over 25 years ago, pretty much concluded that it would be spiritual suicide to not  filter all of the information in the 27 books of the New Testament through the clear teaching of Yahshua. So when I found your website this morning it was more than refreshing. (WC 1/19/2013)

JWO, more than any other book, has really caused me to reexamine everything. (Kassidy 1/12/2013)

THANKS AGAIN for putting this wonderful material online free of charge for all to read. God will certainly bless you for it. I´ve been reading the feedback on your writings from ‘PROBLEMS WITH APOSTLE PAUL’ page, and I find it very inspiring to see how many people are hungry for the truth and for the real Spirit sent from Above. Only the truth satisfies the soul, doesn´t it? You know I’ll be always grateful for the effect your book had on my life. As I once told you, I was converted to Jesus already, but through your book I got converted to Jesus’ doctrine on salvation. (Robert 12/15/2012)

I have spent the last couple of hours perusing and downloading your two books on Jesus' Words and cannot wait to read them.
About three months ago my "comfortable Christian theology" was rattled by someone making a fairly "simple" statement:  that Paul started a new religion which Jesus had never meant to be started.  After smoothing my ruffled religious feathers, I went on a search online to see what I could find out about people being opposed to Paul's teachings.  I didn't find your site at that point, but I did find quite a bit of information, which frankly stunned me.  I had never heard anything along these lines in my 38 years of faith.
I carefully broached the subject with an incredibly well-read Christian brother, who quickly dismissed my concerns with "these issues have been put to rest centuries ago."  Okay...so then why are people still asking the same questions?  Here were just a few of mine:
How is it that 12 disciples/apostles were chosen specifically by Jesus Himself;
the chosen apostles cast lots for 1 more to replace Judas after Christ's ascension;
...so where does a 13th apostle fit in?
****

I committed to reading the Bible through completely this year; something I had never done.  As I worked my way through Leviticus and Deuteronomy, I was amazed at what I was learning!  I was seeing God in a way I had never seen Him before.  But at the same time, my questions grew, and my uneasiness with Paul's (and the church's) teachings grew, and I began to feel incredibly alone.  Nevertheless, I determined that I would not read any of the Pauline books, and see if I could "re-format" my theology!  I admit that it's a work in process, and I trust that what you have written so clearly will be a wonderful help.

To know that I am not alone in all of this is an incredible blessing, and I cannot thank you enough for the obvious time, attention to detail, brevity, and love you have put into your work.  I thank God that you have answered His call to invest in such a way--and asking for nothing material in return--at such a time as this.  (J. 12/15/2012).

Thank you for opening my eyes about Paul and his false testimony that I had never questioned before until I read your works. (G 12/14/2012)

Before I found your website I belonged to a church that was Pauline to the letter....But I couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. It all felt wrong to me, what we were doing and what the ministers I met with every week were teaching me. It made no sense for there to have been a Law, and such a Law, and then for it all to come to nothing. I understood that it *almost* made sense that something would change after Jesus' sacrifice....I toiled earnestly to try and understand Paul and to do all that he taught but I felt, exactly as you describe, that I had become a follower of Paul and not of Jesus.
So I looked for a website that contained "Jesus' words only" and came to yours. What I was looking for was basically the gospels with only Jesus' own words but what I found is the answer, wonderfully explained as to why I was having so much trouble becoming a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This has changed my relationship with God in ways I never imagined. I feel as if I have an answer as to what I am supposed to do now: repent and obey. I remember posing this question to the ministers and there response was "What do you mean "What do I do?"" Well its obvious what a Christian is supposed to do if you forget about Paul's teachings on faith alone.
Paul makes the argument that Abraham had faith. Yes, Paul, he did have faith. But he also obeyed God's commands even when God instructed him to sacrifice his son. That is the kind of faith one is to have. That is why God chose Abraham to be the father of His nation, Israel.
****
I particularly enjoy your discovery of the "Benjamite Wolf." I can't stand to read Paul anymore. It almost feels blasphemous or as if I am learning "the deep things of Satan" as said in Revelation. It is certainly not the spiritual food Jesus' words are. But when I do [read Paul], I see the wolf plain as day. He starts nice and kind, and that is the sheep. But as the wolf he inserts words that are oh so clear to me now: don't obey the Law. That is obviously Paul's goal.
Anyways, I love you for your great work on this subject. This, I believe, will be a message that will reach the world eventually. It is that powerful and important and has transformed my relationship with God. I couldn't possibly thank you enough but I am sure God has much greater things than I could give you for this work.
God bless,
(A Dec. 14, 2012)

Jesus' Words Only has been the most important thing I have read since becoming a Christian  apart from the Word of course. I was fully convicted the first time I read it and have made it my duty to wake up other Christians to the truth about Saul the false Prophet. (Robert Dec. 9, 2012)

Congrats on the site as it's very well done in my opinion. It's encouraging to see that you're fighting the good fight. I've continued my own independent work with the way of Yhwh and if you'd like to discuss any new thoughts or ideas do feel free to send them my way for sure. (J Dec. 9, 2012)

I have been serving in Jail Ministry about 5 years. I like to fish for men and my passion is to share Christ whenever and wherever I am. I too have problems with Paul. For example he had his encounter on the Damascus Road, was converted but chose not to spend any time with Jesus' disciples but instead set off for Arabia . Fourteen years later he reappears with disciples of his own and declares his ministry to the Gentiles an assignment that was originally Peter's.   There are other examples. Jesus said call no man father, Paul says he is a spiritual father to Timothy. I could go on and on... His In Service B (Dec. 8, 2012)

Hi, I was very impressed with your piece, Jesus Words Only and I frequently copy and paste the link to a website I visit trying to wake up the sheep. Thanks. (Robert Dec. 8, 2012)

Wow!!! Thank you for the WEALTH of excellent articles on your website. You have put in so much time and effort to make these available for everyone to read. There's SO much clarification in them and it's very helpful as I'm trying to clear my thinking of all the Pauline cobwebs. And many there are.. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! May God richly bless you for sharing all that you have learned. I too desire to be a faithful servant. (Sheep Following Yeshua Dec. 2. 2012)(YouTube)

Doug I have thought about this many times as I struggled to balance Jesus words and Paul's. Fact is it is what gave your work credence from the very beginning.

The days we are living in should show where the gospel of Paul has led us. The lawlessness has created an era where the church itself seems to be leading the march into the abyss....In America...freedom of conscience has diminished into a freedom FROM a conscience & it appears that churchianity leads the way. Most popular? Grace alone teachings.... (Rox Dec. 1, 2012)(You Tube

Doug. I must say that your work is absolutely and astutely very well done. (P. Nov 28, 2012)

Hello Doug

I would like to share a few thoughts with you.    I do a lot of research on the internet.   What I appreciate about you is that you don't set yourself up as a know- it- all dictator!   Many "ministries" do - belittling others who don't agree with their doctrines, seeing others as "heretics" (one  writer has called for someone to bring damnation to JO, in "accordance with Galatians 1:1-6!!" - can you believe it?!)

Not so with you.  You present your "case" very well, and your articles are free from
dogmatism, leaving your readers to understand clearly and to research what you say.

I mentioned my friend, to whom I introduced JWO.  She and her late husband had been in the "ministry" for years, suffered much at the dominating hands of so-called "apostles and prophets" (Ephesians).  JWO has been a  revelation to her, and she is very excited and experiencing "freedom"! (Jane 11/27/2012)

Doug, please keep up the good work...I am recording the number of views your website gets every day - I am staggered - you are fast approaching one million!! Blessings multiplied many times to you and your family. (J Nov. 27, 2012)

Keep me on your mailing list...love reading your articles.   A friend of mine has latched onto JWO and is blown away!! Blessings multiplied (J. Nov 27, 2012)

I must say, we have been looking for this very information for a very long time. I'll be as brief as possible. Six years ago after failing miserably as a non-believer of Jesus Christ, I began attending church as a “good” Christian should, but as time progressed I felt to say the least; very empty, as though something was amiss. That is when my marvelous and sometimes frightening journey began. At this stage I was still dibbling and dabbling at scripture and not anything like the Bereans, I wanted to believe everything the pastors, minister (what ever they refer to themselves these days) said, partly because they were obviously far more educated in this field and hopefully men of God; why otherwise would they be doing this if that was not the case? I was about to learn a very, very valuable lesson. Now, whilst studying the books of Moses, the first thing that struck me was the absolute firmness of God’s Law and the one that got my attention was the fourth commandment…Remember the Sabbath. Well to say the least after two years of diligent study on this subject, I was horrified with the shallow debates and criticism of those wanting to uphold these laws; it was absolute mud-slinging! People actually trying to annul the Law of God?

I stopped going to church on Sundays and it caused some problems; the pastor, family and friends were highly upset with my decision, and worried. Many tried to convince me (at the time, even my husband) to reconsider this drastic decision. I then suggested a test…an envelope with much literature was sent with my husband on a Sunday morning. He approached our pastor before the sermon and handed him the thick package with the title “The 4th Commandment.” He looked at it, handed it right back and replied that he neither had the time, nor the desire to read the contents. Obviously this must have laid heavily on his conscience as directly after the sermon he took my husband aside and admitted that the Sabbath is indeed on the Saturday…need I say more? Well, the same goes for Paul; something just bothered me about everything he ever wrote. I must admit though that only when I had actually read my Bible through did this become even more apparent.

Have you ever seen the look on another Christians’ face when you tell them that you firmly believe Paul’s epistles are false and contradictory to every word of Christ? To say the least I was not very popular and judging by his [Pauls’] popularity I never will be.

Therefore, I thank you for your extensive research; it is truly much appreciated and most helpful. If I may just add, it is such a tremendous relief to both my husband and myself; now knowing that we are not so bizarre as most would like us to believe.

Warm regards. (S Nov. 27, 2012)

Hi Doug!

Actually I was saved about 8 mos ago, bought a Bible, opened to Matthew, read it, some of Mark, little Luke, and hit the Paul wall in very short order. I got that sinking feeling. Uh-oh, I'm about to become a very unpopular Christian. I prayed and agonized and finally did an internet search... I've been pouring over your materials, after recently finding your site for a different reason, and there should have been a thousand hits. I can find only one reason there wasn't. The Lord wanted me to rely solely on Him. I did. Next challenge, the dead church I found myself in, and what He had to say on this issue..When I read Rev. 2:2 I laughed and said I know who that is! When I read your page on what Jesus had to say about church structure, that experience was like you were in my head listening to what the Spirit revealed on that! Thank you so much, through clearly due diligence, so beautifully articulating what I couldn't....  (DB Nov 25, 2012)

I just wanted to express my admiration of your work: Jesus' Words Only. Having grown up in a Christian country (England), when I began my spiritual quest it was natural that I began with the Bible. I certainly accepted Jesus as God's representative but became frustrated with the inherent contradictions between Jesus and Paul (which are amplified in the teachings of many churches and other groups). I rejected Paul about 20 years ago. (Sam 11/11/2012).

[Robert from Chile writes - translated from Spanish]

I was searching the Internet for other people who believed what is found in your book 'JWO'. Your book was wonderful and I appreciated it greatly, especially that it has been made available to the public for free on the net. You can not imagine how much I learned, especially when you are quoting scripture to compare what Paul taught and what Jesus had said about salvation.

[I asked God to learn about the Holy Spirit] Well, the thing is that I started taking notes of all that the Spirit was teaching me and also collecting information from other persons having any knowledge about it, and it turns out I ended up writing a book which treasured this Wonderful Person and I now know the joy of a relationship that has given everything a second wind to my life as a believer. Anyway, all this I tell you for the following reason. It was there that I began to trace the New Testament to discover who changed the writings and discovered that there was Paul who began teaching differently than Jesus Christ. And once it was in front of my computer screen with the blank page of Google, the sweet voice of the Spirit told me clearly: "Write about the contradictions of Paul," and so began my learning about this strange character and his strange doctrines which deprived us of so much truth. It was in doing so which prepared me to teach a class on 'JWO' without even knowing that your wonderful book even existed. So today I decided to contact you to tell you how much your book publication has blessed me and share with you this humble booklet I wrote after reading JWO as a way of summarizing both what were the things I already knew about it and I learned thanks to you.

I hope it is a blessing and I know there is something in it about the importance of the words of Jesus that you will like very much. I send a big hug and wish you many blessings for you and your family.

Affectionately Roberto (R. From Chile. América del Sur)(October 28, 2012)

I'd like to thank you for all these enlightening & well documented papers. Thanks a lot !! I am an Israeli follower of Yeshua and seeker of truth. Currently I live in Switzerland, and was born and grown in France. Regarding the "pauline" issue, firstly, what is written in the Epistles of Paul prevented me - for years - to believe in the Lord and in the New Testament. I found too many things contrary to what I believed is the truth. After some time and explanations by christian or messianic believers, I accepted much of their explanation of the difficult texts, without being really convinced ! I have had so hard a time with Romans and Galatians !! The main problems for me were 1. The fact that Jesus is presented as God     2. The Law of Moses is supposedly done away with -- the opposition of Law and Faith. I did succeed to adress the number 1 issue through text analysis. But for the question of the Law, I never could find satisfactory explanation to the words of Paul. For instance the one that says "the sinful passions aroused by the law" or "without the law, I could not know covetousness." This is really anti-Torah and absurd !!

Moreover, I cannot accept the idea of declaring "righteous" a person solely on his faith or beliefs. For there are so many texts in scripture that define righteousness as doing what is good in God's eyes. [Deut. 6:25]

Recently I received in my spirit that the person of Paul is a problem, and not only his teachings. So I began to search the internet about him, about the problems in his teachings. Only in your web site have I found quite serious and well-documented data about him. The studies are based in thorough analysis of texts, as well as historical proofs. I greatly appreciate the honesty on which the subjects are treated, which already is a re-assuring evidence that you are really a seeker of truth, as I am.
Sincerely & gratefully, D. Shalom to you & blessings (DS Sept. 5, 2012)

Shalom dear friend. I recently stumbled upon your webpage, and was both impressed by the quality

of your writings, as well as delighted at the depth of your analysis  (Joshua 9/1/2012)

I have been researching this [issue about Paul] for a while.  This synopsis is the most concise, unbiased, thorough explanation of this matter I have ever seen anywhere.  Thank you so much!!  Here's to knowledge, which is power. Study on! (Herb Aug. 26, 2012)

[I wrote Joe: "What do you think about the Jesus Words Only principle?"]
I'll put it this way, I praise The Great G-d Almighty for it... I remember seeing the book on Amazon and didn't really give it any attention. I thought it was just another "praise" book.  But when Yahusha "Jesus" woke me up, I finally realized He showed me earlier what I would be in line with theologically.  And for quite a while I thought I was being possibly "deceived," but when I prayed for truth some how or another I always wound up back to the JWO. It has been such a blessing in my life, especially when I thought I would be all alone. (Joe 8/19/2012)

Pretty amazing how I found your website a while back.... I have read your Jesus Words Only and loved it. Going to start your other one soon. It's waiting at my house right now. Well take care and blessings. Shalom. (Christopher 7/30/2012.)

I am a follower of Jesus, or at least I want to be.  I grew up in a Christian home, my great-grandfather was a minister in the Disciples of Christ, and my grandfather was a minister in the Church of Christ.  I am a recovering alcoholic, and after getting sober, I re-examined my life.  I began really looking at Paul because he acts so much like an alcoholic that I originally thought that alcoholism might have been his "thorn in the flesh".  I also reasoned for a time that this may be why he told Timothy that it was ok for him to drink a little wine for his stomach problems.  However, through the close scrutiny of his letters I became utterly amazed by what I viewed as heretical teaching, about excommunication and the turning people over to Satan as a means of discipline!!!! I was shocked and greatly dismayed.  I also clearly felt that he did not meet the Apostolic test given by Peter and therefore had no right to call himself an apostle.  Personally, I believed that, although previously baptized before becoming an idolator, I needed to repent and be baptized for the remission of sin.  So, I did so.  I also began to see that I needed to live according to the teachings of Jesus and I always see him instructing to observe the Law and all that He commands.  This has been helpful in my recovery (I am now 5 and 1/2 years sober.)

In my search for like minded research, I came across your website.  I have been attempting to devour the essays and books there as voraciously as possible. I attempted to engage my Sunday school class in this discussion and was told that Satan was talking to me because I refused to say that I believed that Paul's letters were in fact Scripture. I have asked my minister and an elder to engage with me in a discussion, but to no avail so far.  Any thoughts you might have about how my family and I should worship, or what someone like myself should do about sharing the true Gospel according to Jesus would be great. (V. July 23, 2012)

Hi. I thank you for your site and the wonderful painstaking work you have done regarding the truth on Paul. (C. July 13, 2012)

Hello Douglas, Well, it’s been said that one learns something new every time s/he reads the Bible. Paul is not what he seems. I find JWO and the articles very interesting. It does challenge my lifelong beliefs and solves others (for example, in Revelation, why the Lord sent letters to the seven churches and not to places where Paul wrote – Galatia, Colossae, Philippi, etc., with the exception of Ephesus.) As I read your material, some of the missing pieces of the “big scene” are slowly falling into place. Perhaps it’s necessary for all who seek and love the Lord to actually read the whole Bible for themselves instead of having the preacher tell him/her what it’s about. Be Well and Thank You. (S July 7, 2012.)

Thanks for all your work (G July 7, 2012)

Dear Doug, I have just finished reading your Book, JWO (in .pdf form). Thank you for it. I have been suspicious of Paul for some time, and your book has been worthwhile in my journey ever-closer to Yeshua. My specialty is history, not theology, and so your book has helped to fill a theological void. (M July 7, 2012)

Hi I just wanted to thank you for your website and for sharing such wonderful information...I had the Experience of Christ and God back in 2003. It IS the "Good News" Jesus spoke of and there is nothing to fear. What led me there was Jesus .... His words .... Not that I have ever read the Bible (maybe a benefit), but His teachings on Love and Forgiveness ... In its true sense, and not that Religious sense, and that came from watching a simple film called Jesus of Nazareth with Robert Powell. After I had seen that and the way Jesus pointed to, I simply walked it ... and that LOVE led me. The Living water ! I have been perplexed at so much of the Bible and also why so many do not follow what Jesus taught but instead get caught in judgement via others testimony....God is LOVE and the words of Jesus will get you HOME. Walk in HIS WAY .... (TA July 1, 2012)

We can’t thank you enough for taking the time to personally answer our email and we can’t wait to read the e-book you’ve enclosed!  We will pray for your endeavors in evangelizing those who have yet to meet the real Jesus.  Your book has changed our lives and has set us free from the shackles of religion.  There are no words that can express how grateful we are for your body of work except this heartfelt thank you.  May God bless you and protect you both as you bring the most important and soul saving truth to the world! (G&S 6/22/2012)

Hello and I really appreciate your wonderful book. I believe God is using you as an instrument of his righteousness and you are not letting him down. (Kyle 6/22/2012)

Keep up the great work with your website.  I thought I was the only person to see how Wrong it is for Christians to Focus in on what Paul said. We should listen to what Jesus said, not from Paul. (Steve 6/21/2012)

My wife and I are totally on board with the findings in your Jesus Words Only book. We ask ourselves constantly how we missed seeing the truth all these years when it was hidden in plain sight.  We tried sharing this information with our home based Bible Study group and we were literally kicked out of the group!   We started out in a mega church 8 years ago of 14,000 members and now we are down to just the two of us.  It has been difficult to share the information about Paul with any of our friends or families and are starting to feel the isolation.  Any ideas on where we can get to know and be with others who know who Paul really is? (G 6/21/2012)

The information presented in your book is well thought out and provoking.  It's rather gutsy to take on an issue like this -- for years I have been taught to accept everything in the Bible as truth, yet have always been bothered by certain things:

Why don't Christians  go to church on the Sabbath? I always like the number "7", and Sabbath always meant 7th day of the week -- so why is Church the 1st day of the week?   I have asked leaders this again and again, and now realize I have been given an answer straight from Paul.  I had never been satisfied.  This issue always bugged me.

Another issue is "easy grace" which I've had many discussions with my husband.  Jesus always said to Believe AND Repent!  But too often people change that to "Just Believe", and leave out the repentance part of being a Christian.

Also, I always thought it queer that Paul wrote it's okay to eat meat sacrificed to idols -- it made no sense.  But then I have also been taught that Apostle Paul was an authority figure in the New Testament, so it never occurred to me to question him.

Now it's become much  clearer how much Paul has influenced modern Church practices and doctrine, and indeed affected my beliefs and practices.  I had always thought a lot of focus was placed on Paul's teachings, as though he was an interpreter of Christ's teachings.  But then -- wait a minute -- I need to get things straight from Jesus, not interpreted and twisted.  I've come to this conclusion again and again, whenever I've strayed.   My Church is strong in  reading the Bible throroughly and often draws parallels between the Old Testament and New Testament, often pointing out prophecies as well.   However, I do recall one recent sermon on "legalism" and "circumcision" when Paul vehemently defended "freedom in Christ", so now we don't have to get too legalistic.

Now I'm asking:  Are we missing the boat completely here?  I've been checking out the referenced Bible verses and my jaw is still dropping.   So where do I go from here?   I wanted to present Chapters 1, 6 and 14 to my pastor to see how he responds.  However, I would like to consider a church that is going back to the basics Jesus preached.  My church does a good job studying the Bible, however we meet on Sundays, and there is some reliance on Paul's teachings.   I don't know if they would consider changing their ways based on the challenge you've given with your research and book.  The only church I know in this area (small city in Virginia) that meets Saturdays are the 7th Day ADventists -- I don't know a lot about them.  So what do I do?  Now I'm getting a better idea of the "uproar" talked about in Acts with Paul preaching one thing, and the apostles teaching what they learned from Jesus. Sincerely ( M 6/21/2012)

Everyday I read, study, and research your material, and each day brings more enlightenment. (Don 6/20/2012.)

Exactly Right ! We should learn from what Jesus said, Not Paul.  Its amazing how TV & radio preachers
keep quoting what Paul said, more than what Jesus said. (Steve 6/13/2012)

I know I haven't been sharing everything your site has done for my little "Home" church group, however it has revolutionized our whole "Spirit" as a group.  We have become so much closer to our Lord and Savior through our studies as a group and individuals, much of that we owe to you and your time and efforts through your exhaustive research on the "False Apostle Paul".. We are so indebted to you and your family for this effort.  We wish nothing more then to help share this vision, as you may know we have been working on developing a site www.ProblemsWithApostlePaul.com (SP June 1, 2012)

I love your books and believe you are correct about Paul. What you say makes a lot of sense. I think I have read all your articles also, you have a very unique story to tell....Keep up the good work. You have inspired me with your many proofs. May God bless you in your works and deeds, I know he has. Thank You (G. 5/17/2012)

I'm continuing to read your writings and the more I read the angrier I get for being so stupid for so many years. [I have an idea for a new book you could write.] The book could be written from an historical perspective, not Jewish, Messianic Jew, etc.  Simply challenge the reader to read what the King of the Universe said to Moses regarding keeping the Sabbath, festivals, etc. Ask simple questions like, "if Elohim said to do so and so forever, who has the authority to change his commandment? Does Paul? Do you know how our Bible was put together? Who selected the books, placed them where they are etc..." Okay, I need to leave the book writing up to you. I greatly appreciate your writings - the light came on - you are a great blessing to me - THANK YOU. (D 5/4/2012)

As you say, Romans 7:1-7 is very revealing. About your book, "Jesus Words Only," I recently downloaded every chapter and went to Office Depot to have it printed. Your book has fantastic footnotes allowing the reader to research and read for themselves the source of your research - something I really respect. (D 4/3/2012.)

Dear author, Your website and book "Jesus Words Only" has been such a blessing for me.  I cannot thank you enough for the painstaking research you must have put in to edify the harvesters of Adonai's Kingdom.... And I've long had doubts about Paul, especially as his commands to submit ourselves to all human rulers as "God\'s ministers" [in Romans 13:1-2] seemed blasphemous for someone claiming to be an apostle of the King of the Kings. I have a lot of things to testify about, not the least of which is how much the Truth has been revealed to me through your writings.  I will be eternally grateful for you and to our common LORD!  Blessings! (Am. 4/1/2012)

You’ve done a wonderful job with your books and articles. You have been a blessing to many. Shanah Tovah! (Happy New Year!) (J. 3/24/2012)

Dear JWO. I have read your book online Jesus Words Only. Thank you very much for your care of others in Christ Jesus. (VM 3/16/2012.)

I am lost for words. Your site has opened my eyes once and for all. I was troubled with these questions for a long long time. I feel like I am finally beginning to see the full truth. 3 years ago I would have vehemently challenged what you have posted on your site which I now know would have been my brainwashed and indoctrinated mind standing up for what I was trained and taught to believe. (L. 3/14/2012)

Hello Dear Brother, I have made it my aim for the past decade to read the gospels almost exclusively and come to some of the same conclusions you have. (Chuck 3/8/2012)

*** I've seen many kinds of doctrines around the net for a long time and they never clicked, till I really saw yours and it HIT RIGHT DOWN THE HEART. It's blatantly true. The proofs are in front of your eyes....I've read so many kinds of doctrines that I know they are not real but YOURS was the first real one that I read that really hits down the heart in all honesty without bias. I have always doubted Paul the moment I heard he was a Pharisee. Something in my heart tells me he's wrong. (Anonymous 2/12/2012)

I read chapter 5 of Jesus' Words Only as it was on the internet and am ordering your book. I have been seeking clarity with the Truth and last night read Revelation where the 12 Apostles were the foundation-stone (again), and it hit me that Paul is not there. I was already struggling with his letters as they were confusing and refuted all other Scripture, especially Yahweh and Yeshua! I sat up and thought, could Paul be a false Apostle? I then turned on my computer and searched for "Paul False Apostle" and bingo! Hit after hit which led me to your book! My wife is still in shock as this was just last night! I look forward to reading your book! (Jeff 1/15/2012)

I am glad to see I am not alone. I am a firm believer in Jesus' teachings. I feel the only important messages in the Bible are the Words of God, and the messages God sent through Jesus. I would love to see only these words printed in book with no other additions. (Matt 1/15/2012)

Your website is AMAZING!  The day after an 11 day fast, I had a revelation from the Holy Spirit that Paul was a false apostle.  This deeply troubled me.  I have been a Christian in a "Pauline" church for 28 years.  I felt like a heretic.  So, I prayed for God to confirm my revelation.  And later that day, I found this website.  I thought my revelation was something NEW and RADICAL.  Ha! But I am SO thankful to know that I am not crazy.  I feel closer to God already.  He revealed to me a truth that I had no facts to back up.  But you have already done the leg-work.  I would love to help in your mission to spread the TRUTH.  Please let me know what I may do. (Cathryn 1/14/2012)

Sir...Last year I began attending a " Word of Faith" (Hagin/Copeland affiliated) church. Early this year I left that church. I began doing research and what I found, I didn't like.... I found your website, along with a few others to be very informative and very to the point. The churches I had the msifortune to attend not only push the Pauline doctrine, but also they manage to take that doctrine and twist it even further. I have also noted striking similarities between Paul and people like, oh say...Benny Hinn (none of his 'prophecies" have come to pass), Ken Hagin, Ken Copeland and even a preacher at a church I attended. They all seem to have 'revelations' allegedly from Jesus that were never spoken by him in any of the gospels. I have found that these "words from God" or "Revelations from Jesus" to be in direct contradiction to Jesus' teachings. They all seem to have a new 'word'. For years I have said that if Yeshua were to return today, he would not recognize his church.' As far as money goes, I think I'll keep sending it to organizations on the reservations that feed, clothe and warm the poor. Thank You for your eye opening work. Respectfully. (James 1/3/2012)

Hello. Delighted to find your web site. I just ordered two books through you, via Amazon. After recently defending the words of Jesus with a follower of Paul (who tried to convince me that Paul's teachings and the new dispensation REPLACED what Jesus taught, it has now (after a few days of feeling rather beat up by a so-called 'fellow' christian) that I am now beginning to see that Paul was very wrong.... will now proceed to unlearn all that I have been erroneously accepting from Paul's teachings (I NEVER liked or accepted his attitude toward women, anyway!). By finding you web site, I am now inspired all over again and will begin by concentrating on what Jesus told us. Thanks (Heidi 12/31/2011)

For me (still hungry and praying for the TRUTH for about 30 years) the revelation that Paul came in his own name, preaching 'another gospel', and was NOT appointed or approved as a disciple of Jesus, and because Paul did not continue in Jesus word, and that Paul sowed the tares of deception right into the word of God that a powerful delusion would be delivered to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.... is STILL OVERWHELMING to me, but now so obvious, as well. (Heidi 12/31/2011 #2)

I decided today to just do a search on Jesus' words only to see what was out there as I have personally come to the conclusion that the pre-eminent scriptures are the words of Christ himself. I am a Bible trained (Word of Life Bible Institute Diploma and San Diego Bible College graduate) fundamental (Baptist)  died in the wool Christian of 35 years who has come to recognize in the past five years or so that there was a bit more to the story :). So interesting to find you out there - after perusing your site it seems we are in concert. (PhD 12/27/2011)

I think I've read all your articles at least once, but they're so good that I'm reading them again.  Thank you all your good work. (Michael L. 12/15/2011.)

I just wanted to say, I love your website, we came to this understanding back in 04, but before that we had put Paul on the shelf so to speak.  The only reason we hadn't dispensed with him altogether was because of 2Pet.  I just wanted to drop a note saying thanks for a great website and fabulous info. There is another site, you might be familiar with it, http://www.truthseekers.co.za/component/option,com_mjfrontpage/Itemid,33/ Also a wonderful site exposing Paul for what he was.  I've read most of your articles, extremely well done. Thank you for all of them.  We had a fellow over at Truthseekers that just wasn't getting it, he went by the name Berean.  We had several marvelous debates with him, but it wasn't until he went to your website that he was finally convinced.  He played the devil's advocate so to speak extremely well.  I didn't know he was seriously seeking the truth until he came back and told us all that he's been to your site and now he was thoroughly convinced.  Now this fellow Berean unbeknownst to him was indirectly responsible for about 200,000 views on his various threads. Awesome, isn't it?  I mean people came out of woodwork to view this debate.  He was a great catalyst. (Michael L. 12/11/2011)

I have just recently discovered your site while studying the writings of Paul and the problems they entail. Before I had even considered such things, I strongly identified as Eastern Orthodox. Now after learning more and more I am hesitant to return to my church as the EO church is all about tradition and Paul is a major part of that tradition. My faith in Christ is strong as ever but my ability to return to my church is drastically shaken. I have downloaded the PDF chapters to your books... and thank goodness they are available!!! I am dirt broke and out of a job...so affording books is something I am not able to do. Thanks to your writings, I am happy but at the same time hurting feeling a loss but a necessary one. The loss being the reliance on Paul as a true apostle. I also am concerned concerned because I don't know what to do for a congregation now... (PS Dec. 8, 2011)

You have the best research and that incredible gift for hermeneutics bar none. Every time I go to JWO I am very blessed. It takes me places. Its the good 411. Many who write just write lots of filler and not of any substance. Thanks so much! Blessings (Doug N. Sept 30 2011.)

I've been pursuing Yhwh for a long time. Ultimately this led to the discovery of the heresy of Paul of Tarsus. There have been consequences for this discovery. Among which I've felt the need to write a great deal about this and I've been prompted by some to write a book on the subject. I'm very glad to have been saved the trouble when I found that such a comprehensive book has already been published. I'm also very happy that you have a comprehensive website. (Justin, Sept 22, 2011)

I have extensively read your site, and can tell you it has rocked my Christian world view to the core.
I thank you for this, as I always felt there was something gravely wrong in a church that claims to be sealed with the blood of the Creator of universe, whose wishes and commands are then totally ignored. (Dennis, Sept 5, 2011.)

Dear brothers and sisters at jesuswordsonly.org,
Wow is all I can say.   As a Christian for 15 years and now a devout follower of Yahushua and the gospel.  I can't believe how I feel so stupid or almost raped...  I feel like pastor after pastor knowingly almost stole my soul.   I always felt like something was wrong, I just couldn't find the "What."  I looked and I looked.. Then one day a brother said, "while discussing" the rapture, 'I just don't trust Paul.  I think he's too Prideful?'  That put me on a search on the issue of Paul vs Jesus. Another site broke open the deception, but nothing was and is as powerful as your site.   Thank you for your hard work and I truly appreciate everything you have done. I believe this will be a huge movement in the Church very soon! So hang on!  God bless... and may we talk again! (Scott P. 8/12/2011.)

Thank you brothers for your website about Jesus words only.  You don't know how much this means to me!  By God's grace I have dedicated the last 13 years of my life to preaching the words of Jesus around the world with other brothers and sisters in the faith and, as you can imagine, have received stiff opposition.  My wife and I were led to come to Argentina to start a ministry here.  We are just getting off the ground.  Our website is www.comovivirporfe.com , though it is in Spanish, so you may want to use Google chrome's translation function to have a look.  As you will see, we very much focus on Jesus' teachings being the cornerstone of the Christian faith, the foundation on which to build our faith.  I have been searching others sites that focus on Jesus' teachings, partly for my own sanity (because it is hard to believe we can be the only ones who see the truth about it) and also to help strengthen our position in defending Jesus and his teachings.  I have only read your home page, and that has been enough to greatly encourage me and provide me with a very significant verse that I had overlooked before (John 13:16), the significance being that the same word for apostle is used and Jesus is clearly saying he is greater than the apostles.  THANK YOU!!  I am now going to dive into your material, which I am sure will be of great aid to our ministry.  God bless you and keep you faithful to Jesus' teachings.  A big hug, Felipe. (Felipe July 31, 2011.)

After googling regarding Jesus' words, I found the link to your web site....I wanted to let you know what an amazing find your web site has been for me. I have been grappling with Paul's teachings (I grew up in the Lutheran church) and after recently reading through the New Testament, came to the conclusion that I feel most comfortable with Matthew and John and had even started compiling all of Jesus "red letter" word on my computer so that I could avoid Paul's influence. Now I find that a compilation is already available! And furthermore, I'm reading the articles regarding Paul and a Jesus-centred way. You have no idea how enlightening and encouraging this has been to me. (Barbara N. 7/19/2011)

I want to thank you for writing and publishing your book and website, which acknowledges the distinction between the Scriptures of Jesus and those of Pauline doctrine. I am happy to know that there are other Christians who follow the words of Jesus. For me, this has been no easy task.... For me, there has always been a disconnect in the teachings of Jesus Christ and scriptures either directly written by or directed from Paul. It just never made any sense. One cannot have it both ways! If you are to follow Jesus, you simply follow Jesus. (Patience, July 4, 2011.)

Much thanks for the Scriptures; They really do hit home don’t they? I’m in the process of studying through them. Thanks again for the information, it is so well organized and as succinct as it can be! (Larry June 30, 2011.)

I'd like to thank you for the JWO only available free on line. I am still on the 3rd chapter, and I have learnt a great deal so far.  (Eze. June 23, 2011.)

When I first read your book it made complete sense to me, I had asked Yah to confirm that what I was reading was true. Now when I read it my spirit just swells up in me and sometimes I cry because of what they have done to Yahusha word. I am so grateful to you for writing this book. Yah Bless. (Sondra June 20, 2011)

I would just like to say hola from Australia and tell you I am excited to read what you have written about Paul of Tarsus. The Pastor from the Baptist Spanish Chuch my Family and I go to is upset and continues to preach that if we reject Paul's word (lies) God will punish us but I am trying to make my wife and son read the Torah as I have a Jewish background and I want them to know the lies of Paul and of Pastors like [our pastor] in Australia. It is good enough for now. I hope you and your wife are well, and thank you for helping me share my beloved Torah. Shalom from Australia (Pedro A. June 11, 2011.)

Everyone should also read Jesus Words Only on Salvation!!!!' (Mary Frank R. at Facebook "Jesus Words Only" Website 4/4/2011 (not affiliated with me)

Dear Doug. I found out about your book through Douglas N.  Thank goodness!  I am only halfway through this incredible and powerful expose' on Paul of Tarsus, whom I have wondered about for years!  I wish we could drop boat loads of books from helicopters over all the churches.  My husband and I feel it necessary to follow Messiah, and not anyone else!  Messiah says, he is the door, the way, the bread of life.  So why have all of us followed the different gospel? Messiah's Way truly is the narrow door, pressed down, unpopular way, and terribly difficult.  People do not want this! .... You have a really great ministry, wow!!!! Thank you so much for taking the time, and interest in this much needed subject.  By the way, your book is easy to read, not hard for anyone who has an ear!  All your end notes are incredible with so much research with HEART! Thank You! Blessings in Messiah Y'shua, (Chelsea C. May 15, 2011)

I dont know how I can possibly thank you enough for your work and faith in truth. (David B. 5/12/2011.)

Dear Mr.....We have ordered additional copies of your books because my dear siblings (four) have all fallen prey to the teachings of Paul.  We all grew up keeping God's commandments and believing them to be very important.  Unfortunately, the Pastor of their church, after many years of allowing other doctrines to influence his beliefs, has decided to come out of the closet and do away with the Sabbath. He has joined all the other denominations around us and will now be holding Sunday service.  To make matters worse, the first Sunday service was this past week for Easter Sunday!  He is now more defiant than ever and has completely embraced the "freedom in Christ" ideology and has made it very clear that he will no longer be kept in bondage under the law.  Just as your book on Paul explains, they will hate the teaching of one master and embrace the other. My mother has already been called into the "office" and has been asked to stop confusing the flock! Teaching truth is now being labeled as confusing and divisive! My mother has also tried approaching my siblings several times and unfortunately, all they can do is quote Paul.  It has grieved my mother and myself very much.  We are praying about this daily and asking God for mercy and revelation.  We also prayed over your books before handing them off to my brother (one sibling at a time).  More than ever, we now understand that their eternal life is at stake. Please help us to pray.  You don't know how many eyes are being opened to the truth - we pray our siblings will one day soon join that list. Thank you.  May the Holy One of Israel greatly bless you. (Liz April 27, 2011.)

Just recently finished JWO, awesome!  And truthfully, I will rarely read any book past a hundred pages.  The amount of information and supporting evidence that was included was amazing.  If it's not on the New York Times Best Seller list, it should be.  Looking forward to reading Jesus' Words on Salvation. Shalom (Ed April 26, 2011.)

May God teach us more. I bought your book 3 years ago, probably my all time favorite. Please write another one. (Bryc N. March 4, 2011 via Facebook)

Thanks so much for your wonderful book "Jesus Words Only" and for your web site and for all your priceless insights !  I am working hard to get the word out about Paul, which is God's big test for everyone. Deut 13:3. YOU WROTE THE BOOK, that I wanted to write, except I could not come close to your outstanding brilliance! Wow! I have sent a nice info email about your book to many pastors that I know. PEOPLE ARE VERY EMOTIONAL ABOUT PAUL. It is hard for many to let go of him. (Doug N. 2/15/2011.)

Get this book !  Jesus Words Only ! This book can be read online but I highly suggest getting this book for yourself and for sharing with others.  Extremely well written by an attorney here in So California. Exhaustive commentary! You will love it! Here is his web site http://www.jesuswordsonly.org/ [Doug N. 2/7/2011 to Floyd, forwarded to me.]

I so appreciate your work.  After 30 years of politically correct Christianity or actually what I deem as "Paulianity", [I] express[ed] my thoughts about Paul (misconstrued) to a friend who believed the same way and he had found and gave me your web site.  I find the work riveting and it gets me in trouble at every turn because of dogmatic default thinking. Matter of fact the dogmatism in my denomination drives me a bit crazy due to the fact that you MUST question Paul if you are going to believe in the Sabbath or [otherwise] Romans 14 and Colossians 2 will be in your face big time. Your insights about Paul meaning 'least' is intriguing....Our churches are no longer viable because they do not convict due to the nature of how much cheap grace they now embrace.  And they have all gone liberal. Thanks for your work. (Gary Feb. 4, 2011)

Thank you for everything on this site - but especially the piece you wrote last summer about how we are to treat the tares.  For several years I have been wanting to learn how to grow more like Jesus - and how to follow his commands.  I wanted to stay away from the paulinist churches. But just recently I strongly felt led by God to go back to the paulinist church where I grew up.  Just last Sunday, in fact. Your article explained how I can do this. Thank you!! (Melia Jan 21, 2011.)

I recently had your book JWO recommended to me by a friend.  Thank you for such a great learning experience.  My wife and I are new Nazarim and have always been confused about the contradiction of Yeshua's teachings and Paul's teachings.  Your book was the answer to prayer.  I constantly ask for wisdom and understanding and your book has opened my eyes to Paul.  Never again will I adhere to Pau'ls teachings.  For my wife and I,  Its Yeshua's words only from now on.  Who needs Paul. (Aubrey Jan. 9, 2011.)

My name is Pedro[...] from Australia baptized in a Baptist church and I would like to thank the author of JWO for all the info in the pages. (Pedro Jan. 8, 2011.)

I just want to thank you for your work...and for providing it free online.   I have thoroughly enjoyed reading "Jesus Words Only" and have been able to share its truth with others...well, those who would accept it.  What a treasure you have provided.  (Lindsey Jan. 7, 2011)

I am in the process of reading your book, and am finding it very interesting and thought-provoking.  Thank you for making it available free online. (Gloria Dec. 27, 2010.)

I want to thank you for your books.  They have been such a blessing for me.  It has completely put to rest the confusion I felt when I read two very different messages within our bible. (Liz, Dec. 26, 2010)

I love your site.... Paul writes that he was to preach to the uncircumcised and Peter to the circumcised. Does this not contradict Peter in Acts 15:7?... Jesus always mentioned My sheep my voice. I believe that Paul's doctrine is his own and his alone and he makes sure those who read  his letters are aware of that. (Michael D. Dec. 23, 2010).

Your site has provided something of an epiphany for my wife and I. I'm writing to thank you, ask questions, and offer a small measure of critique. Thank you for bringing to larger Christendom an issue that has apparently been simmering for centuries. It looks like beyond you and Eisman no one else is talking about this. We have been shocked, saddened and just plain flabbergasted by the common-sense-based, logical and well-documented information on your website. We feel somewhat betrayed (Why haven't we heard this before?) and yet somewhat affirmed and relieved (My wife always thought Paul was unnecessarily belligerent and manipulative and I've said for 20 years that "sola fide" was a heresy -- based on James and the Sheep & the Goats). Most affirming was chapter 16, in which we learn Paul has been kept in his place for most of life of the Church (and by implication can go back to that lesser place again). I appreciate your gentle and humble attitude in dealing with your critics -- you refute them by logic and Scripture, despite their personal attacks. It seems you really know your struggle is not against them as people and believers, but against the false pretensions which have blinded them and so many of us for so long. I appreciate your goal to get this information out above the goals to make a profit or a name (which are of course yours to make). But when I see the book available on your site for free, and your name nearly hidden on your site, it preemptively removes any thought that you may have baser motives. (Eric December 25, 2010).

I have only skimmed the pages on your site as of now, but all with profound joy. This is the message I have been too hesitant to share. I thank you for your magnificent work and bravery! Hallelujah! (Daniel D. Dec. 17, 2010.)

Thanks for your book, thanks for your website. You have helped me immensely in my 'walk' and have helped a co-worker of mine....  I am a police officer.... (Brent Dec. 7, 2010)

I just found this site.  I look forward to reading more.  It has been about 10 years now that the Holy Spirit has helped me to understand that there was a problem within the church because of too much focus on Paul's words.  Christ is our master teacher and I had a thought the other day, that I want to read a manuscript with just a collection of Christ's words.  If believers would just listen to the master then there would be so much better understanding.  Too much confusion in the church today, I believe. Peter really was robbed to pay Paul. Isn't that an interesting saying that people say without even thinking about its meaning?! (Savanah Nov. 21, 2010).

I am very interested in following Jesus' words only.  I've been thinking about if this is a step I am moving toward after having been a believer of the entire new testament as being God inspired for over 20 years now.... I have printed the first two chapters of your book online and will probably go ahead and buy the book....I'm so happy to have found your writings.  Your reasoning and logic show that you are not merely writing from an emotional viewpoint but that your statements are well thought out. I am taking notes and writing down any questions that I have.  We may be in contact over a length of time! (Anne Nov. 14, 2010).

Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the wonderful work you are doing to get the truth out about Paul. When I became a Christian many years ago I always had an issue with Paul. And now I know I know I was right. I love everything I have read on this site. And I am still reading your articles. God Bless and thank you for helping so many people get back on the right track. (Gary Oct. 29, 2010.)

Firstly, I want to thank you SOOO much for you website. I have been very "uneasy" with Paul for a very long time. I felt guilty but I have always had a visceral (negative) reaction to Paul's every word. When I first started researching to find others who felt the same way, there were but a small handful of those willing to speak so boldly. Now, it seems that the truth is starting to get out and there is a large and growing community of those who seek to truly follow Jesus. (Julie Oct. 24, 2010.)

Are you author of the book Jesus Words Only? Awesome book. I was in the middle of writing a book about Paul when I read yours and decided three chapters into yours there was no point in continuing mine. I'm so thankful to be free of the bondage of Paul! (Jeff W. Oct. 20, 2010 Facebook.)

Father has had me saturated in your studies, the writings, and both of your books. I am so Blessed by your faithfullness to extrapolate the doctrine of Christ. Your work is impeccable. I have continued to stay focused and am now going through the materials again once more. And I will continue to do so until I have gained it completely....Before I rose this morning, I reached for the Word, and said a simple prayer, "show me Father, what you would have me know this day..." and I opened to 2 John 9-10. I arose and decided I needed to Thank you, and ask Father to continue to Bless You and your family ...I keep returning to JWO get your new articles. (Tona Z. Oct. 19, 2010).

I stumbled upon this site after doing a Google search of "Jesus's words".  As someone who grew up in the church, memorizing scripture at an early age, attending all of the vacation bible schools and summer "mission" camps as a teenager, I have lately become worried that I have somehow fallen from grace by not wanting to go to church every Sunday morning.  There are things I see now that I didn't see as a child, and the pomp and frills that go into the political parade seen every Sunday morning is no longer for me.  I simply have lost all passion to do the Sunday morning shuffle and greet the neighbor next to me.  On the other hand, I have never lost my faith, and in fact any time I read Jesus's words in the New Testament, I am suddenly alive again. It comforts me knowing that if Jesus were among the flesh today, the last place He would likely be seen would be the five-story churches with 2,000 members, escalator, and coffee shops.  Our Teacher taught love and humility, yet all I seem to find in the church is vanity and gossip. Needless to say, this website is exactly what I needed to find.  I have only read a few passages and articles, but it's unbelievably refreshing to see how studying the Bible with a focus on His words can be like reading an entirely different, more meaningful book. Many, many thanks. (Jacob Oct. 18, 2010.)

I would like to thank the webpage for changing my life. A couple of months prior to me reading about JWO, I couldn't call myself a Christian because I was fighting Paul's claims like Soren Kierkegaard. I hope you don't mind me quoting certain snippets from the webpage. I put up a status every monday on facebook, not to critcize, but to enlighten our brothers & sisters. Their comments are as Pauline as they come. JWO has strengthed my faithfulness to God. And I'm reading the Bible with a better understanding (thanks to your article HOW NOT TO READ THE BIBLE.) (Shak. Oct. 11, 2010)

I like the articles on your web site....In researching Paul, I came upon your site and the article about the Benjamite Wolf. Now I am eyes wide open, and want to read your book. In looking through it, I was amazed and want to dig in.  (Brad Oct. 8, 2010.)

I just found your website, and it revealed some things that I always intuitively knew. It's good to see it in print. (Rev. Douglas H., Oct. 6, 2010.)

I found your book Jesus Words Only informative and interesting. A challenging and a good read. (Yvonne, Oct. 6, 2010.)

I am very grateful to have been able to read JWO, thanks so much for offering it freely online. It has been a confirmation for thoughts that I have had in recent years as I wrestle with scripture. (Jonathan, Sept. 24, 2010.)

I have often found that Paul's letters contradict Jesus' words. I believe any teacher should teach free of charge. But Paul states that they should be paid. Thanks for your help. (Annette Sept 7, 2010)

I agree with what you write and have enjoyed reading and studying this issue.  It is my belief that Paul’s writings are being used as a test for the Christian to see if we love the Lord with all of our hearts. (Kevin August 31, 2010.)

I read your book “Jesus Words Only” and found it to be very well written and informative.  I am in complete agreement with all that you wrote in your book. (Kevin M. Aug. 28, 2010.)

I love Jesus' Words Only -- especially the chapter on the epistle James written as a trial for Paul. (Seth Facebook Aug. 19, 2010.)

I really like what you're doing. It's very clear to me... a lot of what Paul said is contradictory.... I consider myself a Jesusist...(Paul T. August 2, 2010.)

I love your site and truly appreciate the content. (Susanne July 27, 2010).

Jesus' Words Only - LOVE IT. (Jeff W. July 26, 2010).

I am overjoyed to discover this website. I'll be sure to buy your book and read what I can. Also, is there a "red letter only" Bible in print? I'd love to read ONLY what Jesus said! (Philip July 22, 2010).

I've finished JWO.  I think on the whole the book is tremendous and I will recommend it to as many as will listen.  I know of another man who is undergoing a reformation in his beliefs, due to the info you provided on Paul. Thank you. Finding your book on JWO was an answer to prayer. (Todd, July 21, 2010).

I've gone to church several times feeling that the word that is preached, is Paul's, not Jesus's.... I'm glad there's more people like you on this earth. Preach Jesus' Word! (Sakhile July 15, 2010)

What an eye opener,  I have been questioning Paul for some time and always end up getting into heated disscussions with the followers of Paul who call themselves Christians. (Robin July 3, 2010).

It is the glory of God to conceal a thing and the glory of kings to investigate a thing.  Your work is tremendous and has answered so many questions for me. (Mari June 7, 2010.)

I was not familiar with the website link you had shared- www.jesuswordsonly.org. I enjoyed reading it especially since it takes the “Paulianity” and the “Churchianity” out of the equation. It was a ‘TRUE” breath of fresh air indeed! Thank you my friend for pointing me in the right direction! (Cristano, May 24, 2010.)

Dear Doug. Your books are very clear. I read them and I find you are true. I agree with you. (Pastor N. from Rwanda E. Africa (May 20, 2010).

I've got to tell you, you're the first person to bring the Benjamite issue to my attention and I'm digging a little deeper into the matter. So far my opinion of the work is very high....It has been a very frustrating struggle to break through the Pauline Doctrine [of the church my wife and I attend.]  I am very appreciative of the approach with which you address the subject. ...My wife and I first approached the subject by attempting to see how we failed to understand Paul.  There are points of translation [for example]....There are other such examples, but we ultimately found that even seeking to understand Paul led us to disagree with his doctrine. I am greatly encouraged to see advocacy for reading Scripture oneself, rather than adhering to accepted tenets and doctrines which may conflict with the message that is plain for all. (Kevin G. May 14, 2010.)

So far I am enjoying the material immensely [.e., How Not To Study the Bible which addresses Paul in ch. 7.] (Kevin G. May 12, 2010.)

With this knowledge I hope that all may see the light!  (Pastor M. May 9, 2010.)

I have bought and read your book about halfway: I want to thank you for shining the light on all the heresies within Christianity. Any serious Bible student will come accross church doctrines that clearly contradicts the Law & the Prophets: and he will have to take a stand on what truth is. Thank you for the exposure of so many fatally false church teachings. (Tom May 8, 2010.)

Hey Shalom Doug!!!  I am overjoyed to make your acquaintance! A few years back someone sent me a copy of your book.. Thanking me for the "What About Paul?" page...http://www.iahushua.com/ST-RP/paul.htm   Your book is Very Well Done!!! I loaned it out but it was never returned.. I can only hope that it is making the rounds. I have recently softened my heart a bit towards Paul...and see him as (a confused) one of us...and recognized that he did indeed fulfill a great purpose... That is past. But now we must move on and Follow IaHUShUA [i.e. Jesus in Hebrew phonetics] .... (April 17, 2010.)

I want to thank you very much for helping to set my profound confusion and difficulties with Christianity into some sane perspective in Truth. This is really helping me to move on, out of a terrible pickle I got into; to seek Him in the right WAY...(Robert 2/13/2010)

I have enjoyed reading your website and your books... I finished your book Jesus Words Only first, and purchased Jesus Words Only on Salvation through Amazon. I also have downloaded your other free articles. It is nice to know that we are not alone. My husband and I share your views on Paul and the importance of the words of Jesus. Thank you for making your books available via Amazon and free on the internet. This makes it easy to share both ways. Some people are internet people and others book people and I have shared your website with several friends and family members. I must admit it has not been well received and I have taken some criticism, but in the end, I am sure if someone is honest and reads the books in a Berean fashion, the truth will prevail. I encourage you to continue to make your books and articles and essays available to people like me and others. I believe it is a life changing message. (Angela 1/30/2010).

A friend in our study group ordered 6 copies of Jesus Words Only (JWO) for all of us to read. We have been studying for a few years when one heard of your book on the net and ask me if I would check your site out. I sat for about 3 hours printing off JWO to take to my friends so they could read it. That prompted the order of 6 books to share and study. (Mary 1/19/2010).

Hi Douglas. Greetings from the State of Washington....I wanted to digest your book - Jesus Words Only - which I have found is incredibly profound. It has changed my whole life. I must admit that your book is counted among my most favorite. (Walter 1/19/2010)

As I searched  the internet (Google)  I came across something that I thought my eyes were deceiving me – Jesus Words Only – those words jumped off the screen and I thought this was just so awesome!  The very thing I needed to see and here it was in front of me – how gracious and true God is! ...As I studied this book online, the blessings which flowed were more than I could put into words – to think that He loves us so much and knows exactly when and how to satisfy the longing of our hearts!  I cannot thank Doug enough for this insightful work, which he has so beautifully put together – and the courage it took to write such profound things...so many questions were answered and so many fears were laid to rest… after all, now I have discovered the very deception within the place I had sought to find my God! ...The Good Shepherd had found me and brought me to that gate and I had to make the choice – go through or turn and go back…. Doug’s Jesus Words Only spoke straight to my heart and I drank, and drank and as I did so, knew that chains were falling off me.... The sheer joy of being free of much deception and discovering the wonder of Yahushua/Jesus’ Words  has changed my life forever. We really do not need the words of Paul. He is the one who was so totally confused, as he brought his own gospel and threw the True Gospel out....The true ravening wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. In these last days, I know that eyes are being opened and ‘HE WHO HAS EARS TO HEAR, LET HIM HEAR’!!! My prayer is that MANY will be set free from the terrible deception within Christianity and will come to know the ONLY True Gospel – Jesus Words Only will become  to them Life and a narrow Way which leads to peaceful pastures. (Carol 1/3/2010)

Great book...I work with attorneys like you and I appreciate the diligence by which you present your case. Excellent work! (Joe 12/20/2009).

Firstly, let me say that I am so happy for the work you have done. I use your book all the time as a reference and have been trying to help in bringing the sheep back into the fold of Yeshua's words alone! This is very difficult and most times I am accused of being a heretic or worse. I cannot fathom how one can accuse me of these things when I adhere strictly to Yeshua's teachings! Why do they love Paul so much?....(Ryan 12/1/09).

Truly, I have no real issues with Paul ... but I believe we must get back to Jesus' words and stop using Paul as a filter, because it really is starting to get on my nerves. Makes me wonder why Jesus spent time with twelve students, if he wanted a special one to the Gentiles.  Ultradispensationalism and Marcionism almost seem to be the same thing to me. Nothing new under the sun. Keep up the good word. Christendom needs it. (Fol. 10/19/09)

I'd just like to add that Jesus' Words Only is the most insightful book I've read since C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity. (J. 10/4/09)

I can not say enough by way of thank you for your most brilliant book -- Jesus' Words Only. In my youth I began to feel that Paul was not from God, and that was in the 1950’s. Your excellent ability to research your topic and then produce clear, understandable writing is a valuable tool to enlighten many; thank you for all your labors. Thank you even more for taking Christ’s side against those who would sideline His ministry. I know full well your efforts to stand with Him have been costly in terms of ridicule and rejection. What a breath of fresh air to read your book....We too have been studying this and ... so your writing will be class material for some Sabbaths to come. (Michael L. 10/11/09).

Thank for doing this.  It helps me understand my frustration in the Bible and the varying words of Jesus vs Paul's words. My friend and I have had discussions and we always have a problem getting through Paul's words and how they were different than what Jesus said. Thank you for pointing all this out. (Elizabeth 10/13/09)

I read part of your e-book and I am beginning to understand what you are saying about Paul. I was interested in the Messianic movement, and have searched far and wide seeing if any objective scholar could read a pro-torah Paul but to no avail. I rarely have anything against him, and growing up, I always saw him as a wonderful testimony from God, who went from adversary to ally, and found his involvement in the NT to be amazing. Lately, with the fact that the OT, the other epistles and even the sermon on the mount are ignored because of Paul, I have really begun to wonder about Paul. Seeing your point, I wonder if there is anything positive we can take from the Pauline letters. There are some good things like the running a race, the armor of Christ and the fruits of the spirit which I liked. Is it wise to take the good from him or is it better to ignore him altogether? I have considered putting him in the backseat of the NT for now, until I figure out the value....From the way Paul has almost taken over from the Messiah and his twelve, I believe it best for me to understand Jesus better. Thank you for what you are doing, by redirecting us towards Jesus's words again. (Fol. 10/18/09)

Thank you for publishing Jesus' Words website. The ravening wolf prophecy linked to Paul was an eye opener and I now believe that Paul was a false apostle and is the one mentioned in the Book of Revelation: "I know your works, your labor, and your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who SAY THEY ARE APOSTLES and are not, and have found them liars." Rev. 2:2 (Tom 9/23/09).

I would like to thank you for having the courage to write the book "Jesus' Words Only" and for making it available free online.  I downloaded it and had the pages printed and bound at a shop -- it cost me more than the price of the book but it is totally worth it....I am so convinced of the truth that I put a link to your website [on my personal webpage]. Since then, I have been persecuted by two friends who think I have been deceived. Isn’t it strange that people take so much offense when Paul is being attacked in defence of Jesus? I know I have already been labelled as a believer of heresy and will be persecuted by many other people, but no matter what, I will stand by what I believe is God’s truth and light....The fact that you have made your brilliant book available free online is a clear indication that you are not one of those false prophets who are driven by greed.  Thank you again. (J. 9/25/09).

I really feel that I periodically have to write just to say thanks.  I bought JWO & JWOS, and have downloaded and coalesced both books in pdf's.  My family and I have used the books for Sabbath services every week.  We have finished JWO and are on Ch. 19 of JWOS.  We read it out loud every week. (Randy Aug. 29, 2009)

I think your books are pivotal works. They are very well written and researched. I have printed a few chapters and placed them in a binder. They are deep and take time to sort out. It concerns me "why" people reject the words of the Messiah. Because of the traditions of men, the institutions of men, the signs and wonders of men that the Messiah is rejected. I am no better and have a lot to learn. (Dale June 8, 2009)

Your site, as well as a few others, but yours mainly, has turned my faith and entire religious beliefs, all except one, completely upside down, and I have realized a lifetime of error.... I am a Baptist, from a KJV only, once saved-always saved, Paul the apostle, church dispensation, etc. upbringing.  I can tell you that from your book, my eyes have been opened.  I wish to open the eyes of my family as well, although it won't be easy. (Adam June 4, 2009)

Well, so far I have read all the chapters of the online edition of JWO....At this point what I can say is your thesis is very lucid, intelligent and thought provoking. Your arguments are clear and concise, extremely persuasive, well grounded in scripture documentation and very well presented. In short I think you are an excellent writer and your book will be the standard for the JWO argument. I am having a hard time believing that I, a Christian for 40 years, am just now seeing others expound on something that has bothered me all these years but I couldn't put my finger on it. (Walter June 3, 2009)

I took a quick look at Jesus Words Only. Yes, by all means, Paul must be compared with Jesus. That way, as you (and I) point out, Paul does come out significantly different from Jesus. A false prophet, as you point out so dramatically....[It] is interesting to see how our researches have dovetailed....It is important to both of us to liberate Jesus' message from that of Paul. (Barrie Wilson, Professor of Religious Studies at Toronto's York University, author of How Jesus Became A Christian (2009).)

I found your website listed at www.yahuah.org and it became one of my favorites very quickly. I agree very much with your "Jesus words only" approach. Your articles are academically well written, highly readable, and most important, encouraging to the faithful. I thank you very much for your good work. (Abraham 5/29/2009).

I am very glad that I found your site! You echoed the same thoughts and problems that I myself have had with Paul. I am a chaplain candidate with the US Army and a graduate of an evangelical university. I really ran into problems with Paul in Seminary in preparation for my ascension to become a full chaplain, but I just could not see how someone could take Paul's words and form them to echo what Christ said and what all the other apostles wrote. It seemed like too much of a jump to me to believe Paul. Finally after a few of the professors grew tired of me constantly questioning them concerning Paul, and not being satisfied with "well tradition states..." one decided to pull me aside and ask me was I sure I was meant to be a chaplain, after all, how could I question the father of modern Christianity! I am so glad to see that I am not alone! I was beginning to believe that I was a heretic, but I could not force myself to just believe because someone else told me I should...I wanted answers to my questions and you gave them, thank you! ....Again, thank you for lifting this weight off of my chest, I dont feel like such a heretic after all....(K 2/7/2009).

I must admit, I'm impressed. My mind has been blown on a few occasions while reading the book online. The evidence against Paul seems overwhelming. YHWH Bless. (Sebastien Dec.08.)

First of all, thank you very much for putting your book Jesus' Words Only online.  I've been reading it non-stop each night, and manage to turn off the computer only at the point of bare exhaustion. .. JWO has been so uplifting to me and has actually helped me to live a better life.  For a long time I have questioned Paul's legitimacy as an  apostle of Jesus....Your book has changed my attitude toward sin.  Before, I had the "once saved, always saved" attitude that I could continue to commit sins and that if I repented later they would be forgiven.  In reality, I fooled myself into thinking I could sin with impunity, and I never really repented for any of my sins.  Deep down I knew that I was making a mockery of God's forgiveness and long suffering mercy.  Furthermore, I knew that I was not fooling Him in the least.  In my old belief, there was never any fear of punishment to keep me from sinning, since I believed I was eternally saved.  Under that old belief, I continued to sin, always fearing in my mind that was dead wrong, but never knowing for sure. But now, your book helped me to focus on the teaching of Jesus alone, without Paul's confusion of the gospel.  Now I realize that I am saved, but that being saved, I am also a branch of the vine Jesus.  I am required to produce fruit or risk being hewn down and cast into the fire.  To me that says salvation is not a permanent thing, and can be taken away. (Mike 12/27/08.)

Your book on Paul was given to me by a friend that I just recently met and it has been instrumental in our being able to reach others with this very important message.  Having been a Baptist missionary and a pastor for a number of years, I don't have to tell you what my mindset was for most of my life. However, a few years ago I began having problems with what I was seeing in the Bible and what I was preaching so I left the church and started searching....It is difficult to find fellowship with like minded believers but there are a few of us and we enjoy studying and midrashing the Scriptures together Again I thank you for your incredible work and your taking time to respond.  May Yah richly bless you as you continue your invaluable work. (John 11/20/2008)

Just wanted to thank you for your tremendous amount of work involved in the writing of your book concerning Paul.  I have had trouble for years with the teachings of Paul but since I have been taught all my life including seminary that we dare not question the canonicity of the New Testament writings I had to somehow reconcile in my mind to obvious contradictions between the teachings of Yeshua and Paul. Your book sorted out a lot of things for me including the matter of canon.  After having read through the book and going back through it and checking references and documentation, I have the answers I have been seeking and the freedom to begin to think for myself. Again I thank you very much...May Yah bless you in your life and ministry. Sincerely in the Faith. (John 11/13/08)

Am writing to inform you that I am grateful for your effort. It has cleared a lot of darkness that had hindered my understanding of Paul. I am a Ugandan.... (Charles 10/15/2008)

I am writing to you now to share the gratitude I have in my heart to Yahweh for leading you into His truth and writing the book, "Jesus Words Only".  I have only read 3 chapters but it is clear from your web page, blogs, and what I did read that this work was from Yahweh and you were obedient. Thank you brother! This work was a great confirmation and is a continued resource.  (Bradford 7/24/2008).

I would like to thank you for your book “Jesus’ Words Only."  I bought several copies of it in late 2005 and gave them to friends and family.  Although I don’t fully agree with all you have to say, I can certainly say that your book has been one of the most thought provoking ones I have every read, and reread.  I greatly appreciate the work you have done and the courage it has taken... Throughout all my years of teaching I have always had problems with Paul and as discussions would lead to differences I would often state:  “Well, I am a Christian, not a Paulian, so I’ll follow what Jesus teaches on the issue.”... Your books have excellent thoughts and will help shape our discussions and more.

I have really come to appreciate your find on Trophimus. His having been busted for defiling the Temple is certainly implied by Luke. And knowing what Paul taught the Ephesians in 2:14-22 explains Trophimus' state of mind and actions perfectly. His defense would have been, "But Paul said..." and this perfectly explains the reaction of those who cried out for help against Paul in the Temple. It's one of those things where when you finally see it, you wonder how you missed it for so long! I was just showing my wife Lisa this just last night and she too was fascinated. ...I'm reading the entire book through again. I've gotten through chapter 3 so far and it is basically the same as the first edition, but I still get such a thrill reading it again because I can't see where anyone can come up with a good argument to refute your logic. You have all the bases covered so well. (Scott N. March 12, 2007)

I read your book several months ago and it was just what I was looking for.  It was my turning point.  I had always had trouble reconciling Paul's words with those of Jesus and knew in my heart something was not right. (Becky March 3, 2007)

If I haven’t said it before, I want to compliment you on your insight and work on the Balaam parallel. I never saw it, and the connection you draw is incredible. There are also numerous other arguments you make that are astounding and you have for all my knowledge dealt a deathblow to every argument in favor of Paul. Again, I hope controversy causes your work to spread like wildfire. (Scott N. July 2, 2006.)

Shalom Doug, I've been going back over your book again and I can't tell you how excited I get every time I read it....I am hoping and praying your book...exposes the truth to millions. (Scott N. June 20, 2006.)

[From a Jewish friend.] Dear Doug, Thanks for your book. I actually made about four trips to the web site to read it. ...I read over one half of your book this weekend. I haven't perused it line-by-line yet. It would take me hours to do your effort justice. My only fear is that you will be branded a heretic. Most Rabbis I know and have read have always been kind and understanding of Jesus and what he said -- his ministry. I have found few Jews who have the same patience with Paul. My own views of the Messiah have evolved and are too complex for an e-mail, or even a letter. Most Christians and Jews would characterize me as a heretic on this point. At least they'd shoot me before they shot you...Your primary thesis is that where there is a conflict between Jesus and Paul, the benefit of any doubt should go to Jesus. The Church, as an institution, has a different history. I suspect this is because Paul was at least four things: (1) a prolific writer, (2) very persuasive, (3) very passionate, and (4) lucky enough to have his writing survive. I love your theme of returning to the law. My own observation is that we live in a largely lawless world where a passion for truth and justice could only improve the lot of all humanity. I could spend many more hours in this dialogue. And we will. Sooner or later you will visit me for an extended visit in Cambria or I in Orange County. (Clint Jan. 2006)

Halleluyah - for this most enlightening, comprehensive, educative, courageous and brilliant book! It not only exposes the falsity of Paul as an apostle of Yah'shuah, but teaches on a whole host of fundamental principles with respect to following Yahweh and only Yahweh's words (Matthew 4:4). Yahweh richly bless you for this great work, which should strengthen weak followers of Yah'shuah. (Isaac, Dec. 21, 2005)

Jesus Words Only - Professional Reviews

Bookwire Book Review (May 30, 2006)

Is Paul the Apostle really who he claimed to be? Or is he a false prophet whose writings should be excluded from the New Testament? The Attorney author deftly argues his case in the book Jesus’ Words Only – Or Was Paul the Apostle Jesus Condemns in Revelation 2:2?

A self-proclaimed “evangelical Christian” since age 15, the author informs readers in the book’s introduction that his soul-searching began as a result of questioning the Baptist doctrine of eternal security and the Calvinist doctrine of perseverance of the saints. After searching for answers, T was frustrated to find that although these teachings always originated with Paul, Jesus’ words seemed to contradict Paul’s. Irritated at what appeared to be an “incessant marginalization of Jesus in preference for Paul,” the author asks and seeks to answer the controversial question: “Why not Jesus’ words alone?”

A practicing attorney, the author's obvious skill for in-depth research and proficient prosecution is evident, as he lays down argument after argument to support his verdict: Paul is guilty of being a false prophet, and therefore, his writings should not be included in the New Testament. First, the author says, Paul never made a valid prophecy, which is the only way a true prophet could add text to the Bible (Deut. 18:15). Second, the writings of Paul negate the law, which the author says is clear evidence that he was a false prophet (Deut. 13:5). Third, the author points out that Jesus’ mention of Balaam in Revelation 2:14 points to Paul as the Balaam-type figure in the New Testament church. (Balaam was an Old Testament prophet who taught that eating meat sacrificed to idols is permissible, as did Paul.)

T uses evidence from both early Church History and scripture to weave a convincing case against Paul, although Paulinists would argue that there are numerous holes in his theory. The majority of evangelical Christians will most likely find the author’s charges heresy, saying that God would not allow his Word to be tainted in such a manner (the author even offers an answer for this). For the author and his claims, however, the jury is still out, and his book is food for thought for those who are serious students of the Bible. (BookWire Review May 30, 2006)

Writer's Digest 15th Annual International Self-Published Book Awards (Nov. 2007)

The best part of author of Jesus' Words Only is the thoroughly researched material for inclusion in this book. The Appendix, Bibliography, and Topical Index at the end of the manuscript are all well written. The Table of Contents is well structured and concise. The reader will better understand what the author has written after reviewing these important parts of the book. The Author used specific and concrete words to support what he has written. His style and tone of writing is noteworthy.

Should be called "YAHSHUA's Words Only". An excellent book if you have ever wondered why Paul's epistles (writings) seem to speak in a kind of double talk. He was only a man, and not one of the 12 Apostles, so we may have to decide that his writings are for edification, not for inspiration, as we accept the writings of the Old Covenant and the words of the 12 apostles before his. We are blind if we follow man (like we do Paul with what he says, especially when he contradicts what YAHSHUA says) because we must check everything told to us and be like the Bereans who were deemed righteous because they checked everything. We must study to show ourselves approved.
YAHWEH and YAHSHUA are all in all, not Paul! This book is worth reading and studying!!! (Roslyn 1/21/2016, Amazon Review.)

Excellent work, This book inspired me to look closer at the scriptures with a clearer understanding how the bible is structured and written.
Modern christianity is nothing but superstition and works of the vatican priesthood. Jesus has warned us about this but we did not listen!
Jesus warned us that after his departure ravaging wolfes will come in and distort the truth, they will come and say there he is in the desert!
Paul the benjamite a roman citizen has met jesus in the desert! giving you the gospel according to PAUL! 13th apostle and 13 books written in the new testament. Let that sink in.
Highly recommened (The Sword 4/3/2016, Amazon Review.)

5 years ago I started questioning Paul's writings and wondering why do we even need him?

I was then studying more astutely the Torah and loved it..So why do we not DO TORAH as a whole? and why are we divided as a people, calling ourselves "Christians" instead of falling under one umbrella with the Hebrews that follow Torah? So many questions now...so I wanted to
study ONLY the Words of Yeshua...so I found this book online and purchased it. But when the 500 page book came and I started
skimming the pages I was disappointed because I was looking for ONLY WORDS that Yeshua said..I didn't want any others...so I
put it on the shelf and there it stayed for 4 years till I started asking major questions about PAUL...I truly did not like him and everyone
I asked about Paul's contrary teachings to Yeshua's would dismiss me saying "You just don't understand Paul".

So I prayed about it and then my eyes hit my shelf where this book had been collecting dust for 4 years...unread. This book is more
about putting Paul on trial as an apostle. It compares the contrary teachings of Paul to Yeshua's teachings. It also points out just some of
the prophecies that Yeshua gives that this would happen in the future. So why do 99% of today's christians embrace Paul more than Yeshua?

This book answers these questions with vivid detail and scriptures for support. Extremely well written..I could not skip pages in reading it.
The information is well organized and very informative. No doubt is left at the end. Do we accept Paul or do we NOT?

The BIG question: Why do we need anything else but Yeshua's Words ONLY?
Other questions answered in this book:
How did we determine WHAT was scripture and WHAT was NOT scripture for the New Testament? Who decided and WHY?
What criteria was used? Hebrews followed Deuteronomy TESTING...why did WE not follow the same TESTING of scriptures they did?
Did Yeshua prophecy of these problems to watch out for?
Do we follow TORAH or do we NOT? What was nailed to the CROSS?
Is Paul an apostle of Christ or Satan?
What caused us to be so divided as a people? Will we be as ONE mind when Yeshua comes as He requires us to be?

The author has extraordinary skill at making his case answering those questions so there is no doubt left in our minds. It is logically
analyzed, thoughtout, and presented! I could NOT put this book down...I had to read every page and every appendix! Loved it!
All christian's HAVE to read this book to truly be saved! We only THINK we are saved with today's versions of the Bible! With this
book...no doubts what REALLY saves us! (D. Thomas 8/15/2015 Amazon Review.)

Excellent book, Christianity of the modern age as chosen the wide gate that leads to destruction by following Paul. Thank you for sharing the GOOD NEWS as Jesus intended while fulfilling our Father's will. I hope others will be blessed by your book and return to the gospel of Jesus and seek His Kingdom and keep his commandments.  (Murph RAC 6/21/2015, Amazon Review.)

The very title of this extraordinary book "Jesus' Words Only" is precisely why I choose to buy it. After my own research of studying the Torah (5 books of Moses: Genesis- Deuteronomy) and then the prophets of the Old Testament for several years then delving into the New Testament with better background, I immediately started to see why we are so divided as a Church of Yahshua. Paul was arrogant, self-serving, his two witnesses were never named, and the list continued.

This book sat on the shelf, unread, for 4 years or more. My question: WHY do we always use Paul's words over Jesus'?
Shouldn't it be the other way around? To my thinking...why do we even need the boastful Paul? Sure his words are fluffy, puffy, tickle your ears with warm fuzzies cute sometimes..but our God is not like Paul's God.

Once I opened this book up...I've never been able to put it down for long..It is very logical in thought and precise in execution of facts. The author has more than the two witnesses needed on each topic of analyzing the words of scripture and pointing out our neglect as members of the body of Christ to follow the Words of God in Deut. telling us to TEST anyone claiming to be from HIM! It is our duty to TEST everything according to the TORAH! Revelation 19:13 even states "his name is The WORD of GOD". Word of God = Torah in hebrew! Dah!

Paul's gospel clearly can NOT be found in Jesus' gospel.

The fundamental questions the author goes on to answer are:
1) When will we finally make a commitment to keeping Jesus' words only?
2) What is our Biblical justification for adding Paul to Scripture?
3) What fulfilled prophecy did Paul give?
4) Even if Paul gave a valid prophecy, does Paul seek to seduce us from
following the Law and thus is disqualified from being added to Scripture by virtue of the Law's strict
disqualification role in Deuteronomy 4:2 and 13: 1-5 and Isaiah 8:20?

The worst and most honest point of the book...our failure to truly LOVE GOD above all else.. We should hate evil and anyone trying to take us away from the Torah! but most christians will still cling at cost of their salvation to the old notion that "scriptures are infallible, and thus anyone challenging that notion is NOT of God" because PAUL says so! WOW!! very sad facts!

Greek is a pagan language and not all points of scripture are translated accurately into other languages. The author does a very good job showing Paul's misinterpretations of scriptures based on those mistranslations. Genesis 15:6 is Paul's primary source for his justification that Faith (instead of faithfulness) is the only requirement
for salvation.

The author states the facts and trys to shed light on why Paul would think the way he did in opposition to Jesus.

So all round..you get a very fair assessment of Paul and why he could never be an apostle as only PAUL claims himself to be. Only 12 apostles will sit to judge the 12 Tribes of Israel as Revelation concludes. Matthias was choosen by the original apostles with the criteria that that apostle be a living witness of Jesus' teachings as well as live by all those teachings. Jesus gave the remaining eleven power to SEAL on earth and in Heaven.

Paul never mentions any power Jesus' gave him. WAY, WAY too many holes in Paul's personality to ever think him a Holy Apostle worthy of such an honor or even capable of such a task to rightfully judge any of the tribes of Israel.

Do not think the scriptures are INFALLIBLE and somehow God has taken us from that duty to TEST those that claim to speak for God. We have a duty and we must exercise it! As Yahshua commands us to SEARCH the Scriptures! (D. Thomas 5/5/2015 Amazon Review.)

Excellent, profound, educational and liberating!! Every bible believer should read this history of the early church and especially the story of the self-professed 'apostle' Paul. (Gloria Deo, 2/24/2015, Amazon Review.)

Having concentrated only on the teachings of Jesus for several years, DT's book gave legs to the variances I've noted from Paul that were in opposition to the doctrine of God as taught by Jesus. Of all things we've considered Scripture, "Jesus' Words Only" lays out the case, point by point, that what we have considered Scripture and assumed to be from a messenger of God cannot be true. In fact, the book shows Paul to have been heretical by the first century Church. The evidence is thoughtfully brought forward that should be convincing to anyone who as been disturbed by inconsistent doctrines in the New Testament. If we have the courage to stand up and believe what Jesus said is true and are also careful to note the warnings from the twelve apostles of record, there is no other sound conclusion than to reject Paul as the Balaam of the New Testament because he taught people to disregard the gospel as preached by Jesus and the twelve.

The negative comments on the book based upon one experts opinion VS another only confuses the issue. The real issue is if Jesus spoke the words verily from the Father in Heaven directly - and He said we will all be judged by His words - then what Paul said doesn't matter. If we believe Paul heard Jesus somewhere else, then what was the point of His choosing twelve disciples and then directing them to make disciple of Him, immerse them into the Name (FSH), and teach them to keep the same commandments He had already given to them? Then later we also see the testimony of Jesus from heaven to continue upholding what He already said, and commending those at Ephesus for testing those who claimed to be an apostle but were not. Of the seven Churches, Ephesus is the only one where we know Paul was active, and as Paul admits in 2 Tim. 4, he had a first defense (trial?) and that ALL the brethren in Asia abandoned him. Ephesus was the capitol of Asia at that time - was it not?

If the shoe fits, we cannot acquit...

As noted on my web site about Jesus' teachings, John was clear who knew God and who didn't. Those who don't abide in the teachings of Jesus are none of His, and those who reject the Laws of God are none of His. Grace and TRUTH came by Jesus Christ - and He never taught 'cheap grace' or ever set aside any righteous word of God. Paul did speak against the Law, the Temple, the people of God, and taught that 'all things are lawful' - in direct defiance of what Jesus taught.

No wonder Jesus warned of 'wolves' and those who would discard the words of God. Indeed, He never knew them and they never knew Him. Only those of God come to Him to know that what they do is done of God.

A million thanks for the research and careful thinking of Douglas DT- this may well be the most important book to have been written for a thousand years.

John 14:23,24; "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words, and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me."

I have always had a little trouble reconciling the teachings of Paul with the teachings of Jesus. I found Mr. DT's book to be an excellent source of information, very well written, and of enormous help to me as a thinking Christian. He managed to put into words, with wonderfully supported and researched arguments, what I had sensed but did not myself have the expertise to articulate. I recommend the book whole heartedly. I personally believe that all people of faith should read this book. Paul has distorted the teachings of Jesus to a degree that may, if you take his words over Jesus', put your very soul in peril. There is a broad and a narrow path, according to Jesus, and if you care about your soul, you may want to do some research to ensure you are on the narrow one. (Alyson I. Amazon  3/8/2013)

This book was recommended to me by the late Carl Felland of America who first challenged me on my position concerning Paul of Tarsus.. I wish I had of read this book ten years ago... It would have changed my life...The reality is though, this book WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE...

Please for your own sake... read this book... order it and sit down with a humble and teachable heart... You will never look at yourself the same way again in the mirror, when you finally discern the spirit of Satan behind the religous mask of self righteousness from the goat herder and the SOWER OF THE TARES himself ... Paul of Tarsus.

This book leaves no room for error, and will leave the reader numb and in shock at how blind, the spirit of the lie is within the soul of man.
There is no doubt, Paul taught against the Law... and is the LAWLESS ONE...
never forget this reality...
"those that follow the false prophet will go where he is, burning in the lake of fire..."

It's our choice...
CHOOSE LIFE.... COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE AND THE FATHER WILL DRAW YOU TO HIMSELF.

This book gets TEN STARS FROM ME if it were possible..
The point of no return... for the serious truth seeker

The only thing lacking in this book, is the author ... should have used the name of Yeshayeh. (Tim K. Amazon 2/21/2013)

After reading this book I have a new understanding of the Early Christian faith. DT clearly demonstrates through extensive research and knowledgeable sources of how the Christian faith was vastly different in the early christian church and how Paul's doctrine was disgarded for the words of JWO. It wasn't until the Government of Rome discovered the potential of ultimate power by combining religion and politics using Paul's words did Christianity change forever. I have been to Bible college and grown up in a non-denominational church for 32 years and can plainly see the different and contradictory doctrines that Paul introduced to the world but I never could put my finger on it before because my Pastor always read Jesus's words through Paul's epistles instead of the other way around and then wrapped everything up in a nice bowtie with dispensational theology. The one thing that stood out to me from reading JWO was that there was indeed a very large disagreement between Paul and the apostles James and Peter. This is not spoken of in the modern church today for good reason because if more people were focused on that then immediate questions would have to be answered. For one, what were the disagreements about? Who had the ultimate leadership over Jews and gentiles and so forth. People are content to not question why Paul never mentions Jesus's words, why didn't Paul study with the disciples after he got saved, why if God told him his ministry was to be ministering to the Gentiles did he immediately go to the Jews and try to witness to them and was rejected? Why did Paul's Damascus conversion testimony change so dramatically in his epistles and for what reason? Why did he get rejected by all of Asia and most importantly, was Jesus's Prophecy of the coming of the false Apostle from the tribe of Benjamin about Paul who happened to be from that tribe? Modern day christians are content with the "cheap grace" that Bonhoeffer talked about in his book The cost of discipleship which I've just ordered btw because they've never heard a contradicting viewpoint, until now. The one thing that rings true in my heart though, is that Jesus commanded us to search the scriptures for ourselves and not just blindly accept what's handed to us. One thing I always heard growing up is that EVERYTHING in the Bible is 100% inspired and don't question anything. However, if Jesus commanded us to test the scriptures against his words, then why would he introduce new doctrine from Paul without foretelling of it? Really there is no difference with Joseph Smith that started the Mormon denomination and the Apostle Paul minus 2000 years imho. I would encourage anyone that has sat in the pew for years and had a "wait a min." moment about Paul's teachings but just stored it away to grab this book and do your own research like I did. When you do, you'll see that without Paul's alternate teachings, we are left with a faith without theology and our left with a grand commission to show Jesus's love to the world. With Paul's teachings we are left with self righteousness, hypocritical, money centered and a do nothing faith...look around, isn't that what the church looks like today? Maybe that was Satan's plan all along. I pray for God to give you discernment and wisdom so that the Holy Spirit can guide you in all understanding. God Bless DT for being used by God to write this timely book! (Garland Amazon 1/2/2013)

Enter DT's work, a passionate search for the truth in the gospels without the letters of Paul. Though I do not agree with the author's conclusions, it has been my experience that when someone sets out to disprove a belief they do some of the best research around. For that, this work delivers. You may not reach his conclusion with him, but you will learn a tremendous amount of history and receive an excellent education on how the books in the New Testament were chosen or excluded, and how the controversy still continues 2000 years later. (Tobin, Amazon 7/31/2012)

Must read for anyone who always knew Paul's writings were not the same as Jesus. Jesus's words we must follow not Paul. (Toshia June 11, 2012, Amazon Review.)

"Jesus' Words Only" -- This is another book that every Christian should read. In my opinion this author does a great job explaining that Saint Paul is a false prophet, how Saint Paul contradicts Jesus in many occasions, how his epistles are not the word of God, and how their long acceptance is not an obstacle for their rejection in our times. He presents many prophecies from the Bible about Saint Paul, and he explains in a very simple manner many historical testimonies from the early Christian Church that are in accordance with these truths. The website of the book ishttp://www.jesuswordsonly.org. You can read the book online on the website, along with other books and articles related to the subject. (Ruy Marmol, author of Gotcha Saint Paul (2011).)

There is a very good apologetic book proving Paul is the false apostle Paul of Revelation 2:2 which is called Jesus Words Only. This is an excellent book written by a noted attorney and very gifted Bible scholar. The author knows more about the Bible, undiscovered prophecies, various manuscripts, Greek and Hebrew then most all of the pastors out there today. I have met several times for lunch with the author to compare our findings and proofs about the false apostle Paul. His book also confirms much of my findings against the false apostle Paul. The author is very Biblically sharp but what makes this Biblical genius so scary is that he is a very humble person. Many times gifted intellects can be very arrogant. The author is very kind and humble to talk with. Also see his website by the same name of his book Jesus WordsOnly.com. He exposes Paul as the prophesized Benjamite wolf prophecy and also exposes Paul as many other types and shadows of other bad characters found in the Bible. (Doug N. 2011.)

People can continue to refute what the book says, but you can't refute the fact that Paul is at war with Christ on many issues, and according to Christ it is His words that give life. If everyone wants to continue to hang on to Paul... I would refer them to what Christ says in Matt. 7 about the surprises many will face on judgement day. Paul will not be there to defend you when you stand before the Messiah, so I would encourage anyone who considers themself to be a Christian to cling to Christ, and not the self proclaimed 13th apostle. (Danny books.google review 2011.)

Excellent book full of eye opening controversial evidence that will prove beyond reasonable doubt that Paul was false. The author cites all of His sources and invites you to verify everything for yourself. Even if you have decades of study under your belt you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REFUTE THE EVIDENCE because it is all absolutely true...YOU HAVE BEEN DECEIVED and it is time to wake up so you can worship Him in Spirit and TRUTH.  (Eric books.google.review 2011.)

After years of "Christian" ministry, Paul claimed “I am a Pharisee, a son (offspring) of Pharisees” (Acts 23:6) [Note the word "am" - present tense ]. Jesus: “Do not think I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.” (Matt 5:17). Paul: “Christ.. by abolishing the law..” (Eph 2:15). Oops! Paul says.. “But now we are released from the Law.. we serve not under the old written code but under the new life of the Spirit” (Romans 7:6). Compare this with “Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law!” (Romans 3:31). No wonder there are such radical contradictions between Paul's teachings and those of Jesus. See the two life-changing books "Jesus' Words Only" and "Jesus' Words on Salvation." (J George N, Christianity Today (Oct. 8, 2010).)

This book is an absolute must read for anyone who desires to glean the truth from the Bible. Mr. T exhibits outstanding scholarship to reveal the shocking truth about who the Apostle Paul really was. (James D. Gaul, June 22, 2010 Amazon review.)

This is the Motherlode of Biblical Truth. This book blows the lid off of centuries of false doctrine handed down to us, and exposes the "Apostle Paul" for what he realy is - the apostate Paul. This book provides extremely well documented and verifiable evidence that Paul fits the mold of a false prophet to a tee. I will be buying several copies of this book for my friends who are not afraid to think outside the box of church tradition. Mr. T presents an iron clad case that several books of the New Testament were actually written as a polemic against Paul's epistles. (J Gaul 4/8/2010 at Barnes & Noble.)

[Jesus' Words Only] will probably sound like heresy to many people. It will definitely challenge one's thinking regarding Paul's doctrine, and Paul himself. Definitely not for those who don't want to rock the boat of their long-held traditions, but if you are a Truth seeker, you most definitely will want to read this one. (Tshuva.us 2/15/2010)

This book is packed with biblical knowledge and sound historical documentation. The chapters are broken up beautifully so that topics can be focused on and used at study groups or in sermons. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who wants to follow the voice of their Messiah over the voice of another. From my perspective this is one of the best Christian books I have ever read... if you plan on reading extra biblical christian literature for additional edification then this is the one to read! ;)(R.Nolan 11/22/2009, Amazon.)

After years of struggling with what appeared to me to be conflicts in the New Testament with statements of Paul and the teachings of James and the other writers including the teachings of Yeshua in the gospel accounts, my eyes were opened with a greater understanding of canonicity. My background and training had always taught me that all the books of the New Testament were inspired and were not to be questioned. The Author sheds great light on the subject of canonicity and this answers the questions that had always bothered me. (John Parton 11/22/2008, Buy Books on the Web review.)

After reading this tremendously scholarly work on Paul, my eyes were opened to many conflicts and contradictions in my own thinking. Having accepted Paul's teachings for years because of an errant understanding of canonicity I realized that there was good reason for the conflict and contradiction because they are there. Paul definitely contradicts Yeshua's teachings and as a result many are deceived because they are taught that Paul's writings are inspired. I am thankful that I discovered this masterful work and recommend it to anyone that is seeking the Truth.(John Parton, 11/7/2008, Amazon review)

The premise of this book is to show that Paul is an apostate, that he may have been a true follower of Jesus but that he turned away. He contends that though Paul may have had a true experience with Jesus on the road to Damascus he was not an apostle, but Paul declared himself an apostle. His comparison of Paul with Balaam is interesting, as well as the explanation of knowing a prophet or apostle by their message, not by the signs and wonders. He make some miss steps in his arguments but the underlining premise is a good one. (Mark June 6, 2008. Weread.com Reviews)

Jesus' Words Only is essential reading for all sincere Christians. The idea that Paul teaches a different gospel than Jesus Christ sounds almost blasphemous on the surface. However the author hammers away at his points until it becomes apparent that a rebuttal is all but impossible. Does Paul declare himself a thirteenth apostle? Did anyone other than Paul give Paul his authority? Did Paul negate the law's further applicability? If Paul's words disagree with Jesus, who should we follow? You need to read this book. (Kassidy Jones 4/15/08 Amazon review.)

"Jesus' Words Only" was a decent read. The premise of Paul being the false apostle is correct, but the author does not use evidence that is as strong as he could have. The high point of the book was the explanation of "Balaam" in Revelation 2:14. Aside from all of that, Tondo crosses himself a few times in his explanation. He says at one point, correctly, that adding to or taking away from the Law is a sin, and would make someone a false prophet. But, he then goes on to claim that Jesus in Matthew 15 and Mark 7 is saying that eating non-kosher food is ok (thus a violation of the criteria he used against Paul), instead of explaining that Jesus was speaking about rabbinic tradition. Good premise, but overall the book was lacking. Due to the nonexistence of literature relating to this subject, it wouldn't hurt to pick this one up. He has it for free on his website: www.jesuswordsonly.org. (6/29/07 Post at Weread.com Reviews)

[My comment. I did not say Jesus said it was ok to eat non-Kosher. I said that Jesus said it did not make you a sinner to do so. It made you unclean, which is different. I said this means Kosher rules were health rules, and God does not want to hear repentance for eating shrimp by accident. Doug]

I very highly recommend this book to anyone, especially if you have ever had a question about Paul. I believe Mr. T's book is the very next book everyone should read right after reading the Bible. It should be required reading for every seminary student. (Scott N., "Review, Jesus Words Only.")

An indictment of Pauline Dispensationalism. This book is an outstanding addition to the growing awareness among scholars and historians that there is something fundamentally wrong with the doctrine of the self-professed apostle Paul as it relates to other New Testament and Old Testament doctrine. Mr. T's trenchant analysis of Paul's incompatibility with the teachings of Jesus also exposes dispensationalist doctrine as the fraud it truly is when it futilely and superficially attempts to overcome the contradictions between Jesus and Paul by assigning each doctrine to a separate and compartmentalized "church age" or "dispensation".  (December 22, 2006 Excaliburton at Amazon.)

Scott Nelson's Review

Here is a book that I hope will be causing a major uproar in Christianity in the days to come. Its writing is literally centuries overdue. The author [is], a professional attorney, revives the nearly 2000-year-old cold case against Paul's supposed apostleship and his unique anti-Law-of-Moses doctrine....Mr. T picks up where we were cut off from history. In his case against Paul, there is no stone left unturned, and no argument in support of Paul's supposed apostleship that is left un-addressed. The author exposes the fact that Paul's claim of apostleship was taken presumptuously and went unrecognized by the 12 apostles that the Lord had specifically chosen and trained for over three years to be his official witnesses.

Mr. T accurately displays the gross differences in the teachings and doctrines of Paul over that of the Lord. He also goes on to make the solid case that it was Paul who Yahshua (Jesus) referred to when he spoke to the Ephesian church as recorded by the apostle John in Revelation 2:2. Here, Yahshua commended the Ephesians for rejecting someone who had claimed to be his apostle and was not. This is something I have also taught since the beginning of my site over ten year ago.
Mr. T also handles this case very thoughtfully and realistically and does not go off into wild accusations of conspiracy on Paul's part. His position is the same as mine in that we both believe Paul had a real conversion experience on the road to Damascus, but he was never commissioned to be an apostle. Because of his pride, Paul went very wrong. Mr. Tondo beautifully demonstrates the parallels between Paul and Balaam, a prophet who was also on his way to curse God's people when he was confronted by heavenly vision. Balaam converted and spoke much good for a while, but then went terribly wrong. If it can happen to Balaam, and numerous others, why not Paul?

Mr. T makes many additional excellent points that tie it all together into a masterful prosecution that would stand up in court today. I dare say no impartial juror would consider acquitting Paul after hearing Doug's case. On a couple of occasions while reading this book, I thought Mr.  was getting out on a limb with what I considered a tenuous new argument only to find that after staying with him a little longer, he pulled it all together with other facts that proved his point.
If you have ever had any doubts about something Paul said, this book is a must-read for you. By the end of it, you too will agree that the only words in the NT that should be elevated to the status if "Infallible Word of God" are the words of Yahshua (Jesus) alone, and all others must comply with his teaching.

I very highly recommend this book to anyone, especially if you have ever had a question about Paul. I believe Mr. T's book is the very next book everyone should read right after reading the Bible. It should be required reading for every seminary student.

[Scott Nelson(2006). This is only a partial excerpt. A longer version is at this link.]

The scene [in Acts where Paul encounters Jesus] is very reminiscent of Balaam being stopped by the Angel of the Lord because he intended to curse Israel. The parallels between Paul and Balaam are striking. They both started out as enemies of God on their way to curse God's people when they were stopped by a blinding vision on the way. They both repented, converted and served God for a short while, then turned on Him and His people again. If it can happen to Balaam, why not Paul?  For more details on this incredible parallel, read 'Jesus Words Only' ....http://www.judaismvschristianity.com/paula.htm

Tshuva's Review

http://www.tshuva.us/Links/index.html

I found this book fascinating reading. I believe it is quite likely that Shaul (Paul) was the one the Bereans were constantly checking the Scriptures (Tanakh, or "Old Testament) against to see if he was indeed teaching the truth. Whether he was a true Apostle or a false Apostle is something you will have to decide for ourself. The point is, whether he was a true apostle and greatly misunderstood, or a false apostle after the tradition of Balaam, the bottom line here is that the way Christianity understands his teaching regarding the Torah is completely against the Word of YHWH and those who align their lives by the belief that Torah was done away with need to repent and not teach this heretical doctrine! Otherwise, they may find themselves at the receiving end of the words of YHWH in Matthew 7:23.

The author of JWO has another book as well I'm trying to dig up. He has it on his site for free but I prefer a complete PDF. Its called Jesus Words Only On Salvation. Anyhow, I am totally convinced now that the entire 'apostasia' spoken of in scripture surrounds Paul and paulinism. (The Lowest Room March 9, 2012).

Scandi, never mind purchasing it. The author of Jesus' Words Only I believe is an honourable man to the commands of Jesus. He not looking for money. Here is a torrent of the book in PDF

You listen to that feeling friend. That is the true divine spirit of the Creator of the Universe warning you against Paul! Obey the Creator of the Universe and the teachings of Jesus and ignore Paul! Google Jesus Words Only and read it! It is a excellent expose on Paul of Tarsus done by a trial lawyer who leaves no stones uncovered! (Anonymous June 24, 2011)

If you want to read something interesting look for "Jesus words on salvation" and "Jesus words only" by Mr. T. It's free on the internet. (He Was Jewish April 2011.)

My copy of Tondo's book arrived a few days ago. I'm reading it with a mixture of shock (at my complacent assumption that Paul's letters were inspired scripture Just Because They're In The Canon), amazement (at the flat-out contradictions between Yeshua's teachings and Paul's), and ancticipation (at what comes next).  Briefly, Tondo makes a case that Paul/Saul/Sha'ul/Pavlvs of Tarsus was a  either a consistently false apostle or a genuine believer in Yeshua whose mind was subsequently corrupted a la Baalam, leading him to teach moral subjectivism and lawlessness on such matters as eating food sacrificed to idols, fornication, etc. (John G. Dec. 22, 2010; "Jesus Words Only" - What do you think" at Messianic.net.)

I assume you have read the book "Jesus's Words Only"? Based on the words of Yeshua, he does an absolute mincemeat job on Paul. It contains a tremendous amount of material, and is very well researched. You can download it online, but IMHO the printed copy is well worth the outlay. (Messianic Nov. 27, 2010.)

Hi Messianic-

Yes, I have read T's book Jesus' Words Only a couple of times. I have also read his book Jesus' Words on Salvation. Both are excellent. "Mincemeat job" is a good description of how he shreds Paul's message when compared to Jesus' words. The problem I run into when trying to explain any of this to people is the dispensation mentality. It was totally contrived to eliminate the fact that Paul's message conflicts with Yeshua's. And since Paul told them the OT is now defunct, well then, the OT rules on testing inspired expressions are also defunct. It is this type of lapse of logic that boggles my mind! They think that Yeshua would spend 3 1/2 years preaching a message that was to die when he did. It makes no sense. So, you are quite right, most people do not have any idea how to test an inspired expression to see if it is from God or not.

Some people just cannot stand that someone could reject their precious Paul. A year ago I was asked not to disparage Paul or leave on one forum, and about a month ago I was kicked off another site for saying that Paul was the one that might (if possible) "deceive the holy ones" that Jesus warned about. It would be almost funny if it weren't so sad. It reminded me of where people will kill off witness of Yeshua and think that they have rendered a great service. As more and more people recognise the Paul deception, I think that there will also be more opposition. Molly (Nov. 28, 2010).

I don’t want people to think I am anti-Paul a while ago I was seriously considering this, now I have reserved myself to the possibility of just seriously misinterpreting his writings. A very controversial book that I read regarding the topic of Paul, his apostolic validity and the intent of his messages is called “Jesus’ (Yeshua’s) Words Only.” It’s available free online if you’d like to check out some of the chapters you can do so here: http://jesuswordsonly.org/JWO/jesuswordsonly.html (if you scroll down the page there is a link that says “each chapter free online” you can read the full book there.) I would love to hear your and everyone else’s opinions on this if you guys get a chance to check it out. (Harvest Group 9/30/2010.)

In the New Testament there are TWO GOSPELS, the Gospel of Yahushua, and the Gospel according to Paul. Which do we choose? Yahushua warned that there would be false prophets and teachers, and that we are to test who is faithful to Him. If we follow Him, it is like making the best choice in the garden and leads to life. Following a man’s word over the Father’s has never turned out well. I strive to follow Yahushua. The 'Jesus Word Only' book is interesting and has exceptional notes. On the important phrase, "so-called evangelicals often struggle to reach a common definition for the evangel, the gospel" - I recommend two absolutely life-changing, inter-related books,  firstly, 'Jesus' Words Only' and then 'Jesus' Words on Salvation' - whatever your views are, these books will change them forever and for the better, whatever your reaction to the author's work may be. Available from Amazon. (Jason Coll., April 20, 2010, "Piper, Warren" at Christianity Today).

Two unexpected further developments have taken place since I came to Greece.  My first trip here as a tourist came as a result of my setting up a website about Saul of Tarsus.  My goal in creating the page was to provide an information source during the creation of which I would help myself and consequently others get to grips with the parts of the New Testament written by or about Paul.  On my initial trip here I visited all the sites in mainland Greece which played a significant part in his ministry: Philipi, Thessaloniki, Corinth and Athens, and I uploaded photographic and other material thus gathered to the site.  Since coming to live here I have had to face very serious questions about the credibility of Paul.  There is a considerable amount of information about this on the net, the most scholarly and biblical of which I found to be an extensive ebook entitled Jesus's Words Only.  The upshot of new insights thus gained was that I have put aside reflection on Paul's writing and begun to focus on the Gospels and Revelation. (March 21, 2010, Savarios.)

I was reading Jesus’s Words Only....JWO does a very credible job of discrediting Paul, primarily by comparing and contrasting Paul’s teachings with those of Yahushua. (Jan 14 2010) JWO adds a lot of fuel to CW's anti-Paul fire. I just finished his review of the epistle of James (ch.11). His contention is that this book is essentially a legal brief for the apostate trial of Paul at Ephesus, referenced in Acts, Revelations etc.. Point by point, James outlines Paul's false teachings and provides the correct teaching as provided in the TPP and by Yahushua. (Jan 15, 2010) (In His Name at Yada Yahweh.)

jesuswordsonly.org...That is the website I was referring to Just....it's an awesome site and nothing but scripture is used....Jesus words only. (Jan 10, 2010, Christy.)

I won't try to convince you otherwise because, like you, I used to believe the same thing but I do know different now. I would like to share with you a website that may or may not change the way you look at the salvation Christ offers us. Jesus words Only - Jesus words as the sole inspired portion of the New Testament Scripture. There are two full books that you can read and I suggest you start with Jesus Words on Salvation and then move to the Jesus Words Only book. You will need your bible to go along with it because the study comes directly from scripture. They are both listed under the books section and you can read each chapter of the book online at this site. (Christy Jan. 9, 2010.)

Brava, Linda, for posting these extracts! Indeed, this is also the point in "Jesus' Words Only", which I'm about 2/3 through. It's not hard to fathom what drove Marcionism (and if Jesus's Words Only is right, Paul was Marcion's spiritual daddy). How appealing to just re-package that God into a Bad Guy who gave Bad Laws, then invent a Good Guy God who took away the Bad Laws and left us to do ... whatever might be expedient!! Whee! Now there's really no consequence for our actions (other than the bother of "inexpediency") -- provided we say (and mean, even for a split second) the Belief Formula!! Madison Avenue couldn't have packaged a slicker God than this! So, yippee!  We're All Free. We're free -- to work 7 days a week [no Shabbat], celebrate re-packaged pagan holidays doing re-packaged pagan things in place of holidays that God (guess that would be the Bad God) instructed us about [no Passover; no Pentecost, no Sukkot], eat whatever crawling, slimy thing, alive or dead, that we can catch [no kosher] and generally do what we wanna do to whomever we wanna do it, for as long, and in whatever way, as we wanna do it - as long as it's Expedient.... Is that the freedom that Yeshua died to bring to us? Is that the "truth" that Yeshua referred to in John 8:31-32.... (John G. December 25, 2009 at "Is Jesus Heretical in teaching obedience?" Messianic.)

The book "Jesus Words Only" is written by someone who has all of the credentials that you specify on your website for a credible bible commentator. He is an educated Evangelical Christian of many years who has the courage to admit that the epistles of Paul and the rest of the NT present two different gospels.

You can argue that his book is just more of the James vs. Paul debate, but unless you have read this well documented, thoroughly researched, and compelling work, it cannot be dismissed out of hand. He is a trial lawyer who presents his arguments as in a legal brief, and so he forgoes they type of glib and ad hominem attacks that I have seen reading the materials on your website.

Few Christians will have the courage to read "Jesus Words Only," and fewer still will have the courage to consider the possibility that Paul's epistles are non-canonical. Why?

1. The conclusion allows that God has not supernaturally protected the canon from inerrancy, and

2. The most cherished Evangelical belief of Justification by faith alone is cast into serious doubt.

Don't bother wasting time criticizing my email writing skills - rather read the book (with an open mind). If your website does not address the most compelling arguments set forth in Jesus' Words Only, a gaping hole will result through which your own bias will be painfully obvious. (3/15/2008 http://www.tektoonics.com/etc/parody/oct07scr.html.)

Put The "Apostle" Paul on Trial

Was he a True Apostle or a False Apostle? Did Paul lead the followers of "The Way" away from the teachings of Jesus Christ. Did Paul invent his own gospel? You be the judge and jury.  Take the evidence from the Bible and you decide if Paul was a true or a false apostle.

Take a week and look over all the evidence and you decide.

If you need more evidence to make a decision, go to http://jesuswordsonly.org

Don't comment without reading the link below and actually looking through ALL the evidence and reading through ALL the scripture verses from the Bible.  Give Paul a fair trial. Margie 9/2012 (google plus)

I'm not going against God's words or the Holy Spirit. Its Paul I have a problem with. Researching the  Bible even Jesus spoke against Paul as a false apostle in Revelation. You have to continue to research. I can not convince you through my words. You have to want to find the truth for yourself. I'm following God and Jesus and the before prophets that God put in place only. Go to www.jesuswordsonly.org to do further research. You have to find out for your self or stay closed to the truth that Jesus and God the Father made so evident. Deception is a whole lot of truth and a little bit of lie. (Kenyan D, March 25, 2010)

Just wondering if you've ever questioned the validity of Paul himself. Many doctrines that I've had difficulty with over the years (once saved always saved, the law is void/age of grace, depravity of all men, Romans 13 etc) are directly from Paul. I had these questions well before I ever doubted Paul. Upon realizing I wasn't the first to doubt Paul, I became intrigued with the possibility that he could be a false apostle. Considering many things in modern Christianity can be traced directly to him, I thought it would be worth a look. I would love to hear your opinion on the books of Mr. Tondo. I've almost made it through his book on Paul and Jesus' Words on Salvation. I now believe with my mind that Paul is false, but fully accepting it emotionally is hard as I was raised with him being a premier apostle. Anyway, I'd love maybe a refutation of some of Mr. Tondo's stuff (although it seems pretty solid to me) to further test the truth of this matter. His books can be read on his website, jesuswordsonly.org Like your blog alot, thanks for your labor for the truth. (Anon 3/1/2010.)

Speaking of coming back to the text, I have been reading Jesus Words Only by Tondo. He claims that James is putting Paul on “trial” for his teaching on salvation as being by “faith” alone. He also suggests that Paul may be one of the “apostles” that Jesus speaks of in Revelation 2:2. This book is very intersting, but I do not know what to think at this point. One thing is certain, I know that the truth and love of God resides within Torah. Any help? (John B. 11/18/2009)

Steven do you know the book "Jesus' Words Only" - it's an eye-opener on Paul. (Jason in Cape Town June 13, 2009)

In the network, [url]http://www.jesuswordsonly.org/freechapters.html[/url] has caused considerable controversy. In the church, from all indications, the Church has been aware of the existence of the book, from teaching for two years, Paul is against the law. Paul is quite suddenly speaking against the law. Just want to know how many people here in the end are anti-Paul? In the end how many people know this book exists? (Peter Khoo, China, Nov. 25, 2008.)

I just read "Jesus' Words Only - Or Was Paul the Apostle Jesus Condemns in Rev. 2:2." It confirmed a lot of things that were already occupying my mind in the last year. I am NOT here to discuss whether or not Paul was a true or false aposte. I am JUST here in the hope to find someone who also has some serious doubts about Paul’s teaching and wants to go back to JWO ('Jesus words only'). Someone who might also be wondering: What now? Hoping we can share our thoughts. (Jane’s blog, 9/8/2008 http://www.mychurch.org/blog/2528.)

I am in the process of reading Jesus' Words Only, by Mr. T. His background is Reformed Calvinist. He presents the clearest case I've seen yet that Paul is a False Apostle/False Prophet whose purpose is to test our allegiance to YHWH. (Jane March 2006).

Blogger Sir Knight Begins With Quote from Jesus’ Words Only p.295:

After Peter founded the church of Rome and left, Paul arrived and appointed the first bishop of the church of Rome (Linus), according to Constitution of the Apostles (ca. 180-200 A.D.) at 7:46. That means Paul appointed the very first pope of Rome—although the name pope for the bishop of Rome was not yet in use. (Peter never apparently used the label bishop to identify his status at Rome.) Thus, the validity of the lineage of the Roman church depended crucially upon Paul. If Paul were discredited, it would discredit the Roman Catholic church virtually from inception.

This is an incredible book that all should read. He offers the chapters free online.

I think that if you examine the 497 pages in "Jesus' Words Only", you will find scholarly criticism of Paul that rivals or exceeds that of Victor's work. And like Victor's book, Jesus’ Words Only is also available free online. And then some of you will be persuaded to either accept or reject the doctrine of Paul. With Paul removed from the NT, we still have the words of Jesus as recorded by his apostles and disciples, but Paul and Luke were never disciples or apostles of Jesus. They never even met Him.
