Jesus' Rebuke of Paul

I found a 2015 blog by Mark LaRose Jr. that had many pithy points about the Lord's rebuke of Paul. Many such blogs give us new insights, and yet one day the blog is gone off the internet, and we lose the great contribution of such blogs. The Lord’s Rebuke!

1)A Vital Distinction!

Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. I believe he is the Son of God and the Messiah, he is the King of kings. But I don't call myself Christian and I don't attend their churches. This is because I believe the New Testament contains books that are not inspired by God, and these churches are built around them.

These uninspired books in particular are the epistles and most specifically those of former Pharisee Paul. The very first proposed canon was by the Ebionites during 64-70 A.D.. It included only the Hebrew Book of Matthew. They knew of Paul but excluded him because he denied the Law of Moses (see: JWO: Appendix B: How The Canon Was Formed).

The bible first appeared in it's original form as a tentative reading list formed by three African bishops in the year 397 A.D.. These books were not tested by the churches at that time by any criterion. (see: JWO: Chapter One: Introduction). It seems nothing changed after that.

And I also believe that if we look closely enough, we can see the Lord's rebuke of Paul the Pharisee within the bible itself. And I will illustrate this for you further on.

Pharisees were a Jewish religious and political group that existed during the time of Jesus. The Pharisees teachings developed into Judaism and, as I will explain later, they had a direct influence over Christianity through Paul. Jesus warned us to beware of what the Pharisees will become in Matthew16:6, and Luke12:1. 

Paul wrote thirteen letters included as books of the New Testament. Paul's epistles seem wholesome and good superficially. But when closely examined and scrutinized you will see that Paul’s teachings are fundamentally opposed to the doctrines of Jesus, Moses, and the other Prophets.

If we hold these writings accountable to Deut 4:2, which states no one may add or subtract from God's commands, then Paul's writings must be disregarded. For they do exactly that. Paul teaches the Law ended with Christ's crucifixion [Colossians 2:14]. Paul takes away from the Law of Moses and he takes away from the words of Jesus. Moses said, in God's name, that the Law cannot change. And Jesus said he did not come to destroy the Law. More on this later.

And if we are to test Paul's writings according to the laws found in Deuteronomy chapters 12, 13, and 18, he fails to measure up as a true prophet, for he never made a valid prophecy. (See Jesus' Words Only: Ch. 3). Because of this we must reject his writings, for scripture that is inspired by God can only be dictated by a tried and true prophet.

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. [Mat 7:15]

For these reasons I cannot accept Paul's work as scripture inspired by God. He taught contrary to the Law, and he never made a valid prophecy.

My solution is to believe only what Christ taught and supported, which is the Old Testament and the Gospels. But I choose not to believe what Christians teach and support, which includes not only Paul's work but the works of many other false teachers. Believe Christ, not Christians. This is a vital distinction. Jesus warned us not to be deceived by men claiming to speak in His name [Mat 24:4-5].

2) Paul the Liar?

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.[1Jo 2:3-4 ]

John, a true apostle, is very clear about this. He who denies the Law denies God. Exactly what Paul did, which makes him a liar. Not everything Paul says is a lie, but certainly not everything he says is the truth. And that is possibly part of what makes him such a successful liar. For if he speaks the truth in one instance one is more likely to trust everything he says.

Furthermore, the truths he speaks are generally just quotes from the Old Testament, nothing of his own work. And it is also possible that Paul was deluded into believing these lies. The most effective liars believe the lies they speak.

Paul was a false prophet and false apostle, by my reckoning. And this is a reckoning of faith and fact. This is a rebuke of Paul and the false religion that was built around him. You may consider these to be outlandish accusations, for they challenge the very foundation of modern Christianity.

But I have a great deal more evidence to present and, as you see in part one, I am not the first to consider this dilemma. This was a thought of many great men, including Thomas Jefferson, one of the forefathers of America!

I am not the judge of Paul any more than anyone else, but I am a judge of his work. Please allow me to state my case. I intend to illustrate the major contradictions between Paul's teachings and Jesus' doctrine. Just as if we sin in any one area of our life, our whole life is forfeit (without Christ), if we preach anything contradicting Christ, our whole argument is a misconception.

And a common argument against the bible is that it contradicts itself. This is true. But I have found that when we remove the epistles there aren't any real contradictions left. The theology of Paul not only contradicts but nearly disarms the teachings of Jesus and Moses when read as inspired scripture.

By all accounts, Paul never even met Jesus.  Instead, a voice in a vision of light blinded him and instructed him after asking, "Why do you persecute me?" Then Paul supposes he is the thirteenth apostle [Acts 9]. Paul also said that Satan can appear as an angel of light [2Co11:14]. Is he speaking from experience? He may be. And it is to be understood that Paul persecuted Christians, the body of Christ, hence the supposed question. The question of which there is no reliable witness account.

The two men travelling with him were not verifiable witnesses. And why would Christ blind someone for persecuting Him? Christ taught to turn the other cheek, and he is a healer above all.

Furthermore, if I told you a voice in a vision told me I was Christ's fourteenth Apostle, would you do everything I say? Would you just assume I was telling the truth? Would you not want witness accounts? Would you not measure my every word against Christ's words? I'll tell you what would happen, I would likely be committed!

4) Question Everything!

I am tired of casual Christians who behave as though they possess God's cheat sheet. I do not consider the bible, as it exists today, inerrant or infallible. Rather, what we have is a series of books that require our discernment, personal interpretation, and critical thinking skills. Maybe they call it infallible so they don't have to question any of it?

"'How can you say, "We are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?"[Jeremiah8:8]

Jesus said that the leaven of the Pharisees is hypocrisy [Luke12:1]. And the predominant Christian culture I have encountered is hypocritical at best. They say they love Christ but don't follow Christ. They don't do their homework, they let others do it for them and then they flunk out.

They want someone else to lead them to Jesus when His undying words are but one bible away. They say they love Jesus but don't seem to love what he said. They are cultural Christians following false prophets that have led them to false Christs.

Jesus warned us of this. Do Christians not believe Christ? Who is looking out for false prophets and false Christs in this day and age? How many even know false Christs exist? Not many Christians that I have encountered:

"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before."  [Matthew24:23-25 ]

Jesus is saying that everyone will be deceived, if possible. Question everyone you know! The devil can get to anyone. Jesus' had to rebuke Peter! Satan can mislead anyone. Paul was not immune. (And I am not immune either, question me too!) There are strict rules to verify a true prophet. Anyone claiming to speak for God must make a prophetic prediction of the future in God's name and face execution if it does not come true. That is what the bible teaches [Deut. 18:20].

Paul never took that risk. He did predict the future once, but it was a likely outcome. And he did this after retracting a prior contradictory prediction, in Acts 27:22-24. And he never said it was in God’s name, he claimed it was the word of an angel. In other words, he wasn't willing to risk his neck for this prediction, claiming that God had spoken it directly. Therefore it was not a valid prophecy according to Deuteronomy.

5) Breaking the Law!

Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.  [1Jo 3:4]

And now let us look at Paul’s abrogation of the Law. I don't think Paul was maliciously promoting sin, but he did it subtly and mistakenly. On one hand he would condemn sinners and in the other he would condemn the law. To say we no longer need to follow God's Law is to say we need not avoid sin. For breaking God's Law is to sin. And the scribes may have fudged the Old Testament, but Christ also told us to obey the scribes [Mat23:2-3]. Most of all, Jesus said,

""Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled.” Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches [them], he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. "[Mat 5:17-20]

Jesus came to fulfill the Law. Strong's defines this as, "To cause God's will (as made known in the law) to be obeyed as it should be, and God's promises (given through the prophets) to receive fulfillment." All was not fulfilled on the cross. God's Law is certainly not being obeyed as it should be. I trust Christ will settle this matter upon His return.

So Jesus did not end the Law, as Paul claims [Romans10:4]. Jesus commanded obedience to the law Moses laid down as seen above, but Paul's teaching diminishes the Law in Ephesians2:15, and Colossians2:14 as well.

Paul says the law no longer applies over and over [1Co 6:12, 1Co 10:23]. He is trying to take away from the Law of God. This is in direct conflict with the Law itself, which states, "You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it ..." [Deuteronomy 4:2]. In essence, it is vanity to negate the Law. No man can supersede the immutable laws God has built into the fabric of the universe, the eternal moral statutes that safeguard the sanctity of life.

And Paul's preachers stress the concept of 'we are saved by grace, not works [Ephesians2:8-9]. This is also wrong. If our works are to be judged by God, but all our good works are by the grace of God, than wouldn't God only be judging Himself?

And we just saw where Jesus said we must be righteous, more righteous then the scribes and Pharisees in order to be saved. This requires our own good works. For righteousness is a product of our choices, not some overriding grace of God. Why would God care about what we do if God did everything for us?

And we are saved when we repent to Christ [Mat 3:2, Mat 4:17], when we believe in Christ [Mark16:16], and when we love Jesus Christ [Mat22:37]. These things are our own good works. They wouldn't matter if they were just God taking control of us through grace. They are something we must do of ourselves, they are not something God does for us.

And why discourage good works? Jesus said we would be judged by everything we say and do [Matthew12:36, Matthew7:21-23]. More to the point, Jesus literally said we must do good works to be saved in Matthew5:16, and Matthew25:31-46. Another glaring contradiction.

Jesus' Brother James' writings opposed Paul as well. The epistle of James is a rebuttal of Paul's teachings [James2:14-26]. James famously says, "Faith without works is dead."

It seems people cling to Paul because his religion is soft and easy. All you have to do is have faith and then you can do whatever you want, that it's okay to sin and you don't have to lift a finger for anyone else. All Christians may not see this message in Paul's writings, but I know personally that many do get this message and that horrifies me.

Some try to argue that Christ said we only had to follow two commandments in Matthew 22:37-39, to love God, and Love your neighbor. However, Matthew 22:40 goes on to state that on these two great commandments hangall of the Law and the Prophets. To hang, in this instance, means to summarize, according to Strong's Concordance. In other words, if we follow all of the the Law and the Prophets we are then following the two great commandments, and vice versa. It means that the Law and the Prophets tell us how to love God and and our neighbor.

So if we are to follow Jesus a great deal more is required of us. We are expected to cease our sinning. Maybe not all at once but we must quit sinning eventually, as we learn to walk behind Christ. Not to say we will never stumble. For the way of Jesus is a hard and narrow way that few wish to take, where the path of Paul is smooth and wide so that many may traverse it. And did not Jesus say,

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." [Matthew7:13]

I have faith that by following only the words of Jesus, the Law, and the Prophets (The Old Testament and the Gospels) that I am entering through the narrow gate. I believe everyone would be wise to do likewise. Jesus said to teach and obey the Law and I am doing my best to do so, with this writing and in my daily life. We all need to do this, and if this is to be done successfully we must first abandon the teachings of Paul, which impede these actions.

6) Dispense With The Nonsense!

Most churches focus on Paul's words and glance over the teachings of Jesus. It's due to theological concepts called Dispensationalism and New Covenant Theology. They teach that, among other things, Christ and the crucifixion began a new dispensation of God's decree. And it professes we are to focus on what Paul taught after the crucifixion.

So, many Christian seminaries quite intentionally teach pastors to focus more heavily on Paul's work instead of Jesus'. This is why you can go to church and not hear a word of what Jesus taught. This is how you can be Christian and not even follow Jesus! Sounds positively Satanic, doesn't it!? I thought so.

"'These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'" [Matthew 15:8-9 ]

Jesus said that no man comes to the Father except through Him, but this Pauline Christianity makes it sound like no man comes to Jesus except through Paul! This is called Paulinism, something that strays far from the religion of Jesus. Its right here in black and white, Paul commands Christians to follow him, for he is in Christ. We are to put him before Christ and God? Idolatry anyone?

Jesus says,"... no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." [Jhn 14:6]

Paul says, "Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me." [1Co 4:16] 

Jesus warned us to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees. Like rising dough, the Pharisees have risen into Rabbinic Judaism, into executing the Messiah, and building a church of hypocrisy to Him through former Pharisee Paul. Have you heard the scandals involving Christian churches? Of course you have. Quite the evil loaf of bread we have here! So people call Christ Lord but ignore the doctrines of God. They instead cling to the flowery and deceptive teachings of a former, or possibly even covert, Pharisee. 

His teachings can all be ascribed to his traditional Jewish religious background as a Pharisee and lack any true gospel message. Paul was a teacher of his theology, not a preacher of Christ's Gospel. He simply calls it gospel and people believe him, for he is indeed an articulate and crafty speaker. He speaks from his own education as a Pharisee for his own glory as the famed thirteenth (false) apostle.

"He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.  [Jhn 7:18]

As followers of Jesus, we are to preach only the Gospel [Mark16:15], not teach our own personal philosophy or theology as Paul did and many others continue to do. Preaching is simply passing on the good news Jesus proclaimed, and that which directly relates to and does not contradict it. We are not to be teachers. You may have heard life is the greatest teacher, and did not Christ say he is the way, the truth, and the life [John14:6]?

"And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ." [Mat23:10]

And do you know what pastor means? It means shepherd. Do sheep shepherd themselves? No, you cannot be both a sheep and a shepherd. And Jesus said he is the only shepherd, the sole Pastor [Jhn10:16]. So who are these people who are not sheep and are not shepherds? They are wolves in sheep's clothing. The church is a lie. They preach for money. You cannot serve God and money [Matthew6:24].

"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd."[Jhn10:16]

7) LORD REBUKE THEE!

Now the book of Revelation is a New Testament book that is needed to decipher the bible that contains Paul’s epistles. Jesus judged the ancient Christian churches of Asia (the Middle East) in the Book of Revelation. I trust this book because the prophecies are not proven invalid. I have found the Revelation of John quite influential to my conclusions. And it mentions false apostles! Who are these false apostles? Is there any proof? We'll get to that.

But first we will analyze the teachings in the following paraphrases. Who is the original Lawless One? Does this strike you as something an apostle of Christ would say?

"There is no law beyond do what thou wilt."- Aleister Crowley, the Book of the Law (1904) (Satanist/Occultism)

"Nothing is unlawful, but not everything is helpful." - Paul, [1Co6:12, 1Co10:23] (Christianity/Paulinism)

"Not one word will pass from the Law until heaven and earth pass." - Jesus Christ, [Mat5:18] (Son of God/Son of Man)

Here we see how, what I consider to be, Paul's chief tenet more closely resembles teachings of a modern occultist than what Jesus taught. It clearly contradicts Christ!

Paul's churches teach that the Law was nailed to the cross [Colossians2:14], but Jesus said that the law stands until everything is fulfilled. Everything was not fulfilled when Christ was crucified. Is this not obvious? Christ hasn't even returned yet! The Law will not be fulfilled in entirety until the Heavens and Earth pass away, according to Jesus!

There is still much work to be done. We must always strive to live up to God's Law. For when we break His Law, when we sin, we grieve God. And we must continue to spread the gospel message until everyone on earth knows of it and has access to it.

I am trying to aid this cause now by urging people to focus solely on the Old Testament and the Gospels. Follow the Law of God, the Prophets, the Son of God, and nothing else! The Pauline epistles are disinformation to me, half-truths, distracting us from the Truth in the flesh, Jesus Christ. Lord rebuke the preachers of Paul!

8) Mounting Evidence!

As if all that weren't enough, let's get more to the point. As I mentioned, the Book of Revelation mentions false apostles. So please consider the following evidence, what appears to be biblical proof that Paul was a false apostle. It's straight out of the bible, this is the public display of the Lord's rebuke of Paul:

 Jesus says, "...“What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus ... To the angel of the church of Ephesus write ... you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars." [Rev 1:11, Rev 2:1-2]

 Paul says, "This you know, that all those in Asia have turned away from me ..."[2Ti 1:15]

I think Christ was telling us that Paul was the person the Ephesians put on trial and proved was a false apostle. The Ephesians trial was briefly mentioned in Acts 19.

In Second Timothy, Paul writes of how all of Asia (the Middle East in American terms) rejected him, Ephesus being the capital! In my mind this certainly indicates Paul himself was a false apostle! It seems the first Churches didn't entirely fail us.

I don't know about you, but that's all the proof I need. Paul the Liar indeed. Former or covert Pharisee Paul began his career as a party to the murder of Christians, but I suspect he realized it would be easier to destroy the church from within. Paul was from the tribe of Benjamin. Jacob prophesied of a ravening wolf from that tribe in Gen49:27. Early he shall devour the prey, later he shall divide the spoil? First Paul fooled everyone, now his churches are fat and rich. Sounds about right. Paul was the original wolf in sheep's clothing.

"For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord."- Jde1:4

Jude was no fool either. Paul's epistles have a great deal to do with organizing a new church. Let’s just look at the facts, look at history, practically all major Christian churches are rich, powerful, and corrupt. They have little to do with what Jesus taught and more to do with what Paul taught (Dispensationalism). It seems Paul accomplished his goal.

Where Jesus was concerned with saving souls, Paul was chiefly concerned with managing followers and exercising power. Where Jesus preached a hard religion for the few, Paul taught a soft all-inclusive religion.

Jesus said that if you believed Moses, you believe in Him [John5:46]. He is descended from the Kings and he supports the Prophets, legitimizing the Old Testament. But Paul tries to undermine the Law of Moses [Ephesians2:15, Colossians2:14], which undermines Jesus' doctrine and effectively places Paul at the head of the church. But not a church of Christ.

The way I see it, the real Church of Christ congregates where ever the Spirit convenes us, where ever we are needed. The false church, the ones on every corner, the ones with the obnoxious signs, the ones that often operate as a front for child molesters and con-men, this one seems no more than a devilish snare for all walks of life. And they most certainly give Jesus a bad name.

9) The Truth is My Sword!

"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." - Matthew10:34

I pray the Christian Churches of our time can face up to the hard facts and make the right choices. I am doubtful they will, but it would be a revival and reformation never before seen. Perhaps they will in future times. This could happen with Jesusism, it is the opponent of Paulinism. Jesusism is religion based solely on what Jesus taught in the Gospels, and that is the religion I believe.

Jesusism is the religion of Truth. Jesus is the Truth in the flesh and Jesusism includes no more than what he taught (and he taught us to follow the Old Testament). So, contrary to popular belief, Jesus' religion is at odds with mainstream Christianity and the teachings of its leaders. They preach Paul's work instead of Christ's. Does anyone know the difference?

Not many, the average person does not know the difference between what Paul wrote and what Jesus said himself. That is a problem, a servant is not greater than his master and a messenger is not greater than the one who sent him [John13:16]. But the modern bible certainly presents it so.

I believe the Gospels and that which does not contradict them. And if Paul didn't contradict Jesus or Moses and aligned with them one hundred percent, Paul would have nothing to say. Because nothing more needed to be said.

I don't think Paul expands on the hard hitting truth of the Gospel. He introduces misconceptions that deflect the blow! But, in the end, the Gospels stand alone. They don't need anything else to justify them. And, at the end of the day, I simply call myself an adherent of Jesusism, a Jesusist, rather than a Christian.

I relate to some Christians, but I have to draw a line somewhere. I think this is an important distinction to make because the label of "Christian" has a very bad connotation. It means a lot of bad things in the public mind. It means something it should not, largely due to Paul's epistles.

But the testimony of Jesus, the Gospels, are enormously complex books that, once understood and believed, set the soul free from the world, its institutions, and society. I feel they are the conclusion of the bible, and the remaining books should be approached with some serious critical thinking.

I would tear the rest out if it wouldn't ruin my bibles. I would love to have new bibles printed containing everything up to the gospels and nothing after. Perhaps I would simply call it "The Testaments."

The truth is a sword and these truths are sufficient to cut away the illogical and rambling theology of Paul. The Pauline epistles are dangerous when taken as God's word instead of what they are, letters written by a man that deceived others and possibly even himself.

Paul said he was all things to all men, he said he presented himself however he could to convince others to believe him. [1Cor 9:19-23] That is called lying! My Lord! I imagine there were many mad men running around claiming to be apostles after Jesus ascended. Paul was simply the most successful false apostle.

10) For the Love of God!

He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! [Luk 24:25]

Truly, only a Christian who loves the truth over tradition could bear to reject the words of Paul. And, if they do, they become something quite different than what we call Christian. Jesus is the truth. Anyone who loves Jesus above Paul is forced to reject the words of Paul. We are not required to believe Paul, and we should not!

Indeed, Jesus warned us of great deception; He said that everyone may be deceived [Mat 24:24]. Jesus never commanded us to believe anyone after him, but he did warn us not to believe everyone.

We are not supposed to believe everything [Matthew24:23-25]! Of course, Paul says quite the opposite [1Cor 13:7 KJV]! He says "love believes everything." That isn't even logical. Does love believe things that hurt people, like Paul's teachings? All I need to believe is Jesus, the Truth in the flesh!

Paul very often calls Jesus Lord, but only to deceive and gain followers. He admittedly said he presented himself however he could to gain followers [1Cor9:19-23].  And Paul abrogated the Law in order to gain followers and grow his church. Giving up bacon and getting circumcised is not something people want to do to belong to a church, so Paul did away with those commandments and all the rest to make the conversion easier for the pagans. But it isn't a true conversion.

Paul talks a lot about God, but even demons know God! [James2:19] We must love and serve the Lord, not just call Him Lord! Look here:

Paul says, "For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." [Rom10:13 NKJV]

Jesus says, "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven." [Mat7:21 NKJV]

Paul preached the OPPOSITE of Christ here too! Wouldn't that make Paul an ANTI-CHRIST? Logic would dictate it so.

It seems there was great controversy surrounding Paul from the beginning, for 2Peter 3:15-18 calls Paul's epistles ‘difficult to understand’ and issues a warning to opponents of Paul. For whatever that's worth, some have used it to discredit Paul and still some might use it to defend him. Regardless, many scholars agree it is a pseudograph, it was not written or dictated by Peter at all. (See JWO: Second Peter & Its Reference to Paul).

And I am quite certain that Jesus, in the Book of Revelation, intended for us to understand that the Ephesians put Paul on trial and condemned him as a false apostle. Paul refers to how all of "Asia" rejected him, of which Ephesus was the capital. And let’s not forget that Jesus told us the law stands until the heavens and the earth pass away, whereas Paul taught it ended 2,000 years ago, in defiance of God. Paul was a rebel and was the follower of rebel angels, if you ask me.

And it seems the defenders of Paul have fallen victim to a logical fallacy. It's called Appeal to Authority. They believe Paul simply because he is in the bible. Anything that a human had a hand in is vulnerable to corruption, even the bible! But few Christians question the bible.

A few men assembled a tentative reading list of books and it never changed. It became our bible. Likely due to the corruption of greed, for Paul's soft and easy religion fills the church pews that fill the church coffers.

And again, I am not the judge of any man. I am not judging Paul. It may be that Paul was sincerely deceiving himself, or some spiritual entity was deceiving him. There is no better liar than one who believes the lies he tells. He said himself that Satan can appear as an angel of light [2Co11:14]. I don't know.

But I am, however, a judge of Paul's writings, which I reject. Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away," [Matthew24:35]. Though I do believe Paul's words will pass away. So I feel I have made peace with Christ and the Word. And I hope this helps you too.

"He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him." [Jhn 14:21]
