Pisteuo with preposition EIS after it, NIV Theological dictionary, means "obey." Thayer said this in ihs commentary of John 1:11-12, viz. verse 12. Grimm too, But some do not see it in standard dictionaries, and they think there is some lying going on by me. But I am showing the books in print, but the 'dictionaries being relied upon are cheating their readers. That is all one can conclude.
