Galatians 3:16. Paul claims in this verse that the blessings of the covenant of God with Abraham was to bless only one seed - namely Jesus Christ. Luther believed Paul made a grammatical mistake, relying upon a supposed singular meaning to the word "seed" in the promises to Abraham of "seed" -- which Paul then asserts meant Jesus. There is no mistaking but that Paul's sole proof was to say God said "seed, not seeds." See Gal. 3:15. Paul did not claim inspiration in this teaching -- not once.
But did Paul err? Is Paul's presumed infallibility at risk? Yes.
For Paul certainly did err because there is no plural form in the Hebrew, and you can know it is singular or plural only by context. The context in every one of the five restatements by God in Genesis is clear that the promise are to so many seed that Abraham could not count them.
Hence, Paul's argument is not only incorrect but extraordinarily wrong. Once you see the disproof of Gal. 3:15, you must wonder if Paul knew the Bible well at all, for a child who has read Genesis would know this as a certainty.
Tovia Singer confirms this from one who knows Hebrew. This means Jewish scholars and infuencers are aware of this major mistake, blunder or worse by Paul.
